Ford Lake Park

Really nice tennis/pickleball courts, nice scenery, but have to subtract points for bathrooms being locked in summer and only (nasty) porta potties available near the courts. I think the bathrooms nearer the lake were open but that's a bit of a hike from the courts. Kids loved the outdoor racquetball courts. Could use more flowers. Also, questionable orange plastic floppy fencing at top of "cliff" near lake. Keep an eye on your kiddos as it's a long fall down.

Summer Jazz Concert Series is awesome. Gerald Albright was fantastic. $5.00 for parking. Food Trucks, bring your own food and lawn chairs.

The pavilion we rented had no open gate access until an hr after arrival. The overhead hood was out of control with full spider webs and a full bees nest in the corner behind the 3rd grill. Obviously no one had swept the area in a minute. There was left over trash, however...the bathrooms were clean and stocked. I had a few outlet overloads but the keepers were there to help and reset the breakers quickly. They harassed us about bikes and cars not moving off the grass quick enough but overall, as long as I don't lose my deposit; we would recommend you rent this shed!

Very lovely park with a great boat or kayak launch ramp that goes right into the water! Nice place to enjoy the waterfront views and the water. Most guests are pretty chill and are enjoying the water in a friendly, safe way on kayaks, canoes, small to medium sized power boats, and jet skis and most people avoid making big waves.

This was my first time visiting even though I live super close. This park is gorgeous! Even the porta potties are clean. Tennis courts are big. I think generally there is a cost to enter but in the evenings it's free.

It's a nice park. The bathrooms could use a little cleaning. Lots of ppl on the water boating / fishing. We thought the bird houses were so cute.
