This is a gorgeous museum designed by Frank Gehry, located on the University of Minnesota campus. The art is large and modern, and you can enjoy the campus and restaurants all in walking distance.
Thought it was much bigger and much more to see but was just 1 level to the museum. Admission was free which was great
It is a free entry museum. Art is limited but a good visit. The structure of the building gains more attention.
I held my wedding ceremony at the Weisman and could not be happier about that decision. Not only is the space beautiful, but the staff is extremely helpful and went above and beyond to make the day run smoothly. Our guests loved getting to the museum early to explore the artwork and we loved getting married in such a special space. I can highly recommend WAM for your next event!
Well worth a visit. Some great pieces of art, free (donations are definitely worth it). Not super big but sometimes I like that type of museum. Great view of the city from patio & courtyard + coolest facade I’ve seen in quite a while!
Honestly, it is a rare thing to visit such a small museum with such great paintings. It is ideally located in the middle of the University of Minneapolis.

Fascinating architecture and exterior. Wonderful collection of art in the interior. It's a real gem!
