Teachers created a fun and welcoming environment, and my son came home with more vocabulary and songs :) He had a great time.

We were really happy with this French camp and would definitely recommend it. My son loved it and had no problem making new friends. We could tell he was using a lot of French and the teachers were great.

Great program, and great value for money! I did the B1/B2 conversation and grammar class online for five weeks. The teacher was very nice and encouraging. There were four other students in my group, and I felt like we all had lots of opportunities to speak and listen. We read articles each week, so I learned a lot of new vocabulary. We had fun discussions and debates, and it really helped me feel comfortable speaking and interested in practicing more. There wasn't much instruction in grammar, but I thought it was very valuable otherwise.

As a French parent married to an English-speaker, I wanted my son to hear French from another person than me. We started when he was 2,5 year-old and I could see how much he has already learned. If like me your children are growing in a bilingual household, exposing your child to another French person, (even better, a teacher!) will help tremendously his language acquisition. My son loves Natasha and I know we will be back in September.

I've been taking in-person French lessons through French Academy DC for two months now, and I just signed up for another two months.

I took French in high school and a little in college, but decided this year I wanted to really read and speak the language. I looked around online and French Academy had the best reviews, so I started with a starter package.

I meet my teacher weekly at a local library, just near my house--no need to drive to their offices. My teacher is French, teaches at the college level, and really cares about creating a course that works for me.

I'm making a lot of progress, and I can see where I need to go.

All the logistics have been a snap, and I'm glad to recommend to anyone who wants to take the next step in making the French language a part of their life.

I took Survival 1. The instructor was great, the class size was small, and the material covered French basics. I had absolutely zero knowledge of the language and now I can manage ordering croissants, giving directions, simple introductions, and a few other essentials. If you look at the cost/hour, it is also really affordable.

I am once again inspired to practice my French regularly. I have been afraid to speak French because of my accent and mistakes. My instructor was kind in correcting mistakes and allowing us to fail here and there which is a necessary part of learning a language!
I found the combination of exercises (written, oral, audio, and video) to be extremely helpful. The resources given to us were also excellent (handouts/pdf, websites, videos, podcasts, etc) and I will continue to use them to study in the future.
I especially love that I can take classes online which makes it super easy to do right before work, from anywhere, etc.
The price for the class is also great; it makes it accessible to more people. I think if more people knew about it, they'd take a class!
