It was so beautiful and picturesque. Everywhere you looked was breathtaking. It’s about 30 minutes ride outside Orte, Italy and worth it. The walk up to the town of at most 15 full time residents has lots of restaurants, shops, and views to hours of enjoyment. Parking is in the town center and can be limited. It’s a must see if you can. Tickets are purchased just before you enter the bridge. Just 5 Euro each.
Well worth the walk. Park in town at any of the lots with blue spaces, and give yourself a few hours to get up and back. Buy tickets to enter the Old Town at the bridge entrance, 5€ea. Good food and drink await and some nice small shops for souvenirs. Enjoy!
Amazing medieval village. Geological museum in main square well worth a visit - with some useful English translations explaining archaeological landscape.
It’s like walking back 2000+ years. You wonder what the people and life was like at the top of this mountain so long ago. Views are breathtaking. Many great shops and restaurants too.
Beautiful hilltop town is unique in it's sheer cliffs and bridge access. You don't need long here to stroll the village alleyways and get a coffee. It's a nice 15 minute walk from the car park. Tickets required to walk to the village are 5 euro. Parking is by the hour.
Joli petite bourgade destinée à disparaître ! Il est recommandé de se garer au parking. Des tickets à 5 euros sont en vente pour avoir accès au village. Ensuite, il faut compter 10-15 minutes de marche, la pente est assez raide.
Amazing place. You can access with a car quite near the Civita. But the car need to be left on the parking a bit futher away. Unless you have accomodation there that allows you to park just under the bridge. The restaurants serve lovely food - better to make reservation for the dinner as it is busy at 8 p.m. Ice creams of course. And famous fragrance shop from Civita. This is a perfect place to shoot amazing photos - lots of trees, flowers and spots.
