National Film and Sci-Fi Museum

Went in to see one thing, a screen used proton pack from ghostbusters and was so pleasantly surprised about how much amazing props they have! Just surprise after surprise even though I wasn’t the hugest fan of some of the movies they were from I could still appreciate it because man that’s movie history in front of me!, and that’s the magic of the museum. For example I am not the biggest Star Wars fan but I was in awe at the Star Wars exhibit, so In the end I would 100% recommended anyone to go see this lovely little museum

Definitely recommend a visit to the national film and sci-fi museum. We visited for my partners birthday and we were pleasantly surprised with how much was there. We were met by a very friendly lady who was super knowledgeable and explained to us the best way to get the most out of the museum.

They had a massive range of memorabilia on display from an impressive range of films and shows. The tour ended in a well stocked gift shop!

We will definitely go back and would recommend visiting.

A really cool collection of props, materials, outfits and models from a range of iconic movies and TV shows. I’m looking forward to the continued expansion!

Great exhibition! Good variety. Star Wars, Star Trek, Sherlock Holmes, Adams Family, Alien, Indian Jones, Top Gun, Harry Potter and much more.

The staff are on hand for background information about the museum and the displays. Very friendly and helpful.

Toilet downstairs, you'll need a code to get in - ask the staff.

Cold food and drinks to buy upstairs before you go in.

No photos allowed generally but fun 'selfie' areas where you can. Apparently, more to come.

You can also buy toys, comics, signed photographs etc. in the shop.

Look forward to watching the museum grow! Already more exhibits are being set up to look forward to.

Reto arcade also looks cool - buy a ticket to play the retro games for 3 hours without needing to keep adding coins.

Absolutely phenomenal!!! I came here yesterday as a little day out just to see what it was like as I haven't done the museum before but I've done the bunker! Absolutely incredible! Staff were helpful as soon as I got confused about the rules of photography! I just loved what I saw, there were lots of old characters and old TV programs like star trek, Doctor who etc.. it was also lovely to have met sully at the end of the tour! So yes defo will be coming back and the staff are always on hand to help should you need it, I will come back again at some point.

I took my 9 year old twin girls. The lady at the front was lovely and very knowledgeable.
The items there were amazing. So many memories of films. The only negative thing was the price. £36 and it probably took 30 mins max. That was even with us re tracing our steps. Would I go back. Not sure. I loved the look of the arcade but same price to go in. If they did the £36 but you got 30 mins in there as well that would have been so much better.

Amazing museum for film/tv fans! We spent about 3 hours looking at the hundreds of items (you can spend as long as you like). There are some unbelievable props.. We were so impressed. The staff were so helpful and knowledgeable. They informed us the museum will be extended to the lot next door. So we'll definitely be back. On another note.. There's Loads of parking available too.
