DISGUSTING
Silly me, I thought I was a normal person and going into a store to look for a TikTok Mascara.
I’m going to the beauty I’ll and not two seconds later a guy starts fiddling with the beer bottles and I realize that I’m being profiled.
I literally was in there for two seconds looking for mascara I wasn’t even close to the product not that that should’ve made a difference.

I walked by this Japanese store and couldn’t help but stepping in…and it was an incredible experience. The store has amazing collections of many things, eg. makeup stuffs. I will go back❤️
Ms. Tanaka, who works at this shop, was such a customer-oriented, friendly, and very reliable staff member. It's rare to find someone like her in Manhattan.
I was positively suprised at the high quality of her service by helping me out with ordering the item I had been looking for desperately.
Ms. Tanaka immidiately contacted her boss and put an order for me on the day I was visiting the shop. A few weeks later she texted me to tell me that it was ready to pick up. Everything went so smoothly. And I would like to thank Ms. Tanaka for her help and kindness.
She reminds me of those attentative great store clerks in good old Japan.

Great selection of Japanese items. We even found Pretz flavors we never saw in Japan. There is more than just food available. A variety of toiletries, kitchen utensils, and cookware is also for sale. It's really worth your time if you're missing something or other from your time in Japan. Highly recommended!
Full on Japanese grocery, pharmacy, beauty products, and stationary store. There are so many cool items. We spent almost an hour walking around and picking out stuff to try. Highly recommend and the staff is super friendly.
Expensive! The entire store is filled with authentic Japanese items. Not a tourist attraction. Do not come here to browse, only if you are serious about purchasing. Ranging from frozen foods, snacks, dry goods, stickers, household items, and Cosmetics. I found a variety of Matcha tea but expensive.
On my recent visit to NYC, I was so enchanted by this store that I went three times. I could have bought a lot of stuff, but I didn't really need anything. The prices were better than the mega Japanese store Mitsuwa or other Asian stores I frequent in Chicago. I ended up only buying a food-shaped eraser for my daughter and a few Mochis. The young woman working at the front counter was super nice. This shop is a wonderful addition to the West Village!
