Was in area and you should shop there. It's similar to exterior Grand Concourse shopping center. Very clean nice visual appealing aisles. I liked the atmosphere would come again and you should too.

While in New York we went to this City Acres Market. The market is large, but also compact as well. They have a large variety of foods, meats, vegetables, and personal necessity available.

The only helpful person here was Jordan the manager. I use to love this place ,however it's severely taken a nose dive. They never have whats on the sites sales paper half the time. The majority of the raw meats have gone so down hill, I'd say that only 40 percent of them are edible and fresh. The biggest downfall in quality here is the customer service is abysmal!!! The whole staff needs to be fired and start over. The deli guys are beyond rude, the stock people NEVER want to show where anything is, and the cashiers are more miserable then a visit to the dmv . With the exception of two of them being ok. This use to be my favorite store , sadly it's just meh now. I'm stuck with it as it's the closest to my apartment. Blah 🤮
Nice place to shop, good place to spend money , good stores . I recommend planet fitness instead of Blink Fitness as blink fitness only caters to a certain crowd .

Great variety for a smaller grocery store. Lots of funky Asian snacks (Ube popsicles, fish flavored chips, daikon radishes, etc). Prices are steep, but that’s expected for LIC. Hot food section is pretty good for a quick bite. Cashier was kinda rude. Girl was on her phone (ok, fine) and didn’t give me the time of day for a simple “hello.” Had to ask for a fork twice after I realized she didn’t give me one when I first checked out. Bc

I went there yesterday for the first time. The place is super cute, loved looking at all the fresh food they had. Of course, I had to buy a little of this and a little of that, so happy I did! This place is AMAZING!!!! The Farm Greens Soup is absolutely delicious, the fresh mozzarella is great, the heirloom tomatoes are to die for and the bread I have no words, besides that I will be gaining 10 lbs. by the end of summer! The bakery is fantastic as well. I have nothing to say bad about this place until I get my bill but that's my fault! lol I can't wait to go again this weekend.

Amazing store. They have most everything you could want, in virtually every department, and most major world cuisines are represented. Their fish department stands out as particularly impressive(they offer fish cleaning/fileting of a wide variety of whole fish that are on display and are visibly super fresh).
The organic produce selection could be substantially improved.

DO NOT BUY FROM THE FISH SECTION. Probably all meats and produce as well. We bought some raw jumbo shrimp from here only to be hit with the absolute worst feet/fishy smell when we opened it at home. It literally stunk up the entire apartment. I wouldn’t trust any raw foods from this store.

Great for last minute runs for dry and frozen foods.
It has good items from household items, kids to adult plus size clothing for both men and women, jewelry, shoes, backpacks and purses at good prices.

This supermarket has a huge selection of items. The layout is a bit strange but after a few visits, it's relatively easy to find what you're looking for. My biggest and pretty much only issue with shopping here are the prices. They're very expensive for such a large store.

Very nice farm stand. In addition to fresh vegetables and fruits, they have a very large baked goods section. Everything fresh baked and delicious. It’s a bit pricey but you are getting premium products.
Small grocery with great deli.

Junk foods are the best 🤩🤩
Staff’s are 😎 and 2 pretty beautiful smile are refresher 😄😄😄
The employees are disrespectful and treat White customers better than Black customers. I go here daily and spend a lot of money daily. A few weeks ago, I was waiting for them to order and make my salad and a white woman stood next to me. I had been waiting for almost 5 minutes while the man cut up other vegetables and did other things and ignored me. When the White woman stood next to me, he came right over and asked her what she wanted and served her first. I ignored that one.

Today, I was waiting on a bagel and got a piece of candy that I put on the counter. I stood and also waited while she did other things, wiped down the counters, organized items etc. Again, as soon as a White man stood next to me, also with items and he was waiting on a burger, she immediately came to the register and rang him up. I asked calmly did you not see me? She ignored me and I asked again, did you not see me? She said, you were undecided. I said no I wasn't. My item is on the counter and I have been standing here still waiting on you. She ignored me, sucked her teeth, said she was busy and rang up another white person. I put my money on the counter and said, did you make a mistake? She shook her head yes. I said, then you should apologize for your error. She took my money, gave me the change and said Mommy! Move over there! I again completely calm said, I am not your mommy, I am miss to you. What you should say is miss can you please step to the side? I will not respond to being addressed so disrespectfully.

I then asked for the manager, and he listened, apologized and said he would comp me the next time I came in.

They will never see me again to disrespect me a third time and I will be sure to let all of my colleagues know how poorly I was treated...

My favorite grocer in Long island City! great selection of organic fruit and vegetables, prices are as good or better than the high-end competition, and when i shop the fruit and vegetables are always fresh. Less square footage than the ‘big ones’ but they pack just as much variety in their tighter space.

It’s a grocery store with a pretty good selection of items, decent prices, and a quick checkout process. Sometimes perishables, especially from the cheese aisle, have mold, so watch out. Gets very busy around 5-7pm.

Bad experience today at the bakery section. Asian lady that was supposed to attend to the bakery was yelling on the phone in her language. I asked another employee for assistance but she told me to go to the lady on the phone. When I try to get her attention, she turns her back to me & goes deeper into the kitchen area to continue her yelling over the phone. It almost and hour to receive assistance to get 3 cake slices. Luckily, the nice young man who finally assisted me was nice.

I had to go to Aldi's supermarket, it was crowded ( as usual) there was only one cashier. They have a few stores on the plaza which I didn't visit. I usually stop in Five Below but I didn't. It's an OK place to shop, Check it out, you might find some good deals along the way.

This is yet another very racist establishment in this neighborhood. My daughter(20 months old) was harmed by one of their workers her knee was skinned and bleeding. She thought it was a great idea to push past her stroller and never apologized. The workers are rude, disrespectful, and very unprofessional. So far the only welcoming and SAFE place to shop is the Trader Joe’s near Jackson Ave. I’ll continue to try out places in the neighborhood however it’s clear racism is what feeds LIC.

This place is extremely deceptive in its pricing. I noticed they charged me an extra dollar and they told me all purchases with cards have a $1 fee... Strange but ok.. So next time I pay with cash and they still ask for an extra dollar. I was in a big rush so I just paid without arguing. Today I tried again and they didn't charge me extra. My total was $8.69 with tax so that's what I paid and what the screen clearly said. When I got home my bamk told me I was charged $9.04. They also never ever give receipts. They rip them too fast to even ask for them. Idk what's going on here but it doesn't seem legal.

Stopped in on way home from somewhere, for my first visit. Nice browsing on a sunny day. I tried a taste of their coffee which was very good, well worth a try. Something for everyone here, including fresh baked goods, friendly staff.
Pricey and almost empty, just go to Trader Joe's 😂.

Almost every refrigerated good here is spoiled and past by the sell date. I don't think their freezers even work 24-7, as I'm pretty sure those goods are spoiled and refrozen, too. They need to take accountability for their inventory and dispose of unsafe foods.

Gave two stars because I made it in time to get a refund and also because I should have been more careful before making the purchase. But I bought cheese that expired 10 days ago and was very moldy. I fully recognize that I should have checked first but man, you’d think that what seems to be a “high quality” market would have better quality control…
Great store and the sandwiches are amazing. Late night chef however doesn't seem to be too happy when he needs to prepare food. Five stars though because the staff during the day does an amazing job.

I pretty much shop here about twice a week to get various items before going home. It's small and the aisles are sometimes difficult to navigate but they have a lot of useful things tucked away in there, lol. Hard to find some items but other than that, it's great!

This store is absolutely massive and has excellent selections. The meat and seafood departments are probably the best in the neighborhood. We love getting great cuts of beef and pork here, and it's the only place I trust for thin sliced rib eye. Friendly and helpful staff!

I am always shopping at Aldi; one of my favorite stores. There are escalators, stairs and 2 elevators that lead up to the 2nd and 3rd floors of the mall. Sometimes only one elevator is working and sometimes either the up escalator or down escalator is broken . Some stores have closed down. I sure hope Aldi doesn't close down.

CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS FOR CORRECT PRICES!
Almost everything in this store is clandestinely marked up 50c to $2 at the register. You buy something for $4.99 and the register will ring up $5.99. Unless you check the price right there and ask for a refund, the owners just stole $1 from you. How many people go home, check the receipts and, then decide to come back to argue over an indirect charge of $1-2?
But the owners make tons by doing this. I've filled a complaint with the city but doubt anything will happen.

Great plaza in a great area in the Bronx.
Would be a five star but I knocked one off due to store variety. The best buy was a lovely addition there, but businesses tend to come and go quite often.

Can get very busy during peak hours.
Great product selection. They've got a little bit of everything.... and homemade cookies! 😱

They sell delicious cakes and rice bowls for a reasonable price. My only complaint is that no one is ever working at the Juice bar/cakes area. Even when you got the manager looking at you & 2 other people waiting for assistance with the cakes. Also, they don’t provide forks/napkins when you buy the hot food.

Extremely enjoyable shopping experience in this quaint market with fresh produce, delicious bakery and plenty of seasonal goods for the household. Plenty of fresh vegetables and baked goods on top of refrigerated/frozen prepared foods to stock your kitchen. Tasteful pieces of kitchenware and decor line the shelves giving you plenty of seasonal options to spice up the home.
I came here the other day to look around and shop a lil bit with my
Mom and one of thing’s I noticed was that we were being watched and the worker’s were not friendly at all except the cashier. The deli clerk was ok but weird at first and they don’t have Boar’s Head Products which I immediately was not interested in anything else. We headed to the back of store and kept browsing and looking to see what we liked while comparing prices and there was a large Hispanic man that kept on peeking in the aisles we were in. I mean every time we were in one he was in one watching or peeping and it was very uncomfortable and unsettling. The prices were reasonable on some stuff but to think I spent $80 there to be watched is not cool. He didn’t even say hello or acknowledge us every time we passed him or saw him lurking around. It’s a shame because I just moved into this neighborhood and was looking forward to shopping here occasionally but that big Bertha dude and prepared food’s packer were absolutely weird. I will be calling to complain and I will show up and follow up. I worked these places in the past and never ever did I treat ppl this way. Nor did I ever allow anyone to act that way in the store. I think these ppl are racist.

Awesome experience! I bought a bunch of stuff in the bakery and had the most delicious soft bread with olives baked in. The vanilla cream soda is the best I ever had. I paired it with spinach dip and finished it off later with cheesecake carrot cake cupcakes which were yummy. I also purchased apple butter which was good. Loved the sunflowers for pics as well. It was a nice time. Maybe next time I’ll try their coffee and other fresh baked goods :)

This was hands down the best farm stand i have ever visited! Between their endless array of fresh produce, baked goods, breads, soups, quiches, jams etc, as well as their delightful selection of seasonal decorations… it is really such an incredible little place! Plenty of variety, delicious cheese selection, a wide variety of cooked food choices hot and cold. I had salmon and cauliflower with a side of chicken soup broth. I went here with some co workers for lunch and was quite pleased.
Charged me $$55 for 6 items, and their potatoes were GREEN. Absolutely the worst grocery place I've been to.

Delivery guys ride electric bikes recklessly on the sidewalk! Speeding around corners. So many close calls with pedestrians. With so many small dogs and children in the area, these guys are dangerous! When my husband asked one to ride off the side walk, he screamed “I DO WHAT I WANT.” Yikes! Hope they leave the LIC area stat!

This is a really nice farm for fresh produce and baked goods. I've been meaning to stop by for a while and finally had a chance since I was in the area. They have picnic tables if you want to enjoy their soups or baked goods by the side of their store. I hope my photos help! Definitely need to come back to try more of their other goods.
My favorite neighborhood bodega with hands down the best bodega coffee ever. The bfast sandwiches are great as well.
The name makes you think of a kind of upscale farm shop, but apparently there aren't many farms in Brooklyn, so they get most of their wares in packaging. There was a good selection, so we were able to buy the food we required.
I got to give it to this place, when it comes to making your sandwich they don’t play. I chose the create my own sandwich and was not disappointed it was true art. It was flavored beautifully. Very accommodating, friendly and interactive staff. You get your moneys worth here.

Clean, fast service.Great coffee and the cook makes awesome sandwiches. All types of things sold here.
Efficient grocery service I am hooked!!
I live in Park Slope on 8th Ave. I've had them deliver from their Park Slope location nearly every day. They are consistently GREAT, fast, great selection, AND they have so far, gone out of their way to make me their REGULAR customer. So far, I am impressed! Only wish they had less processed foods, and more selection in produce, both fresh and frozen and at good prices, and raw nuts that aren't adulterated with "FLAVORINGS." Otherwise, I'd have to say that definitely I'd recommend them. One other thing, I'd like to be able to put a DOLLAR amount for the tip, rather than only be able to choose from their suggested tip amounts, which frankly seem too little.

We were excited to try Gorillas. But our first order arrived missing the vast majority of why we had ordered and paid for. Zero quality control! And when we texted (in app) and emailed Gorillas, we have not yet received any response at all. So, now we have to spend the time and effort to do a formal credit card dispute. And we also had a Gorillas discount coupon, but they did not honor the discount! A horribly bad first impression by Gorillas!

***UPDATE*** — After about 12 hours, a Gorillas supervisor finally fixed all of the above issues, sincerely apologized, and also gave us a courtesy credit too, all of which was very thoughtful and much appreciated. And our next two Gorillas orders were handled and delivered perfectly. Accordingly, I have upgraded this review from one to three stars. And if things keep going well with Gorillas, I then will bump this review to four stars.

***PRO TIP*** — Always ask Gorillas to call you when they arrive, so that you have the cell number of their delivery guy/gal, just in case you need to get help. Because Gorillas does not have any phone help/support at all, like all other companies do. Which is why I never will give them five stars. Phone support is critical and a must-have for any company.
Very satisfied by my visit to Hudson Food Market. This 24hr open spot is extremely convenient, especially as my hotel was very close nearby. There’s an incredible amount of options for hot and cold food that taste great and offer a great value. I see some other reviews complaining about the prices, but I think the prices are very reasonable for the quality and convenience offered. The staff are kind and always diligently cleaning.

This place was always pricey, but decent and convenient if you live on the water. Ever since Covid though it has gone down hill. Most of the produce is 1-day from going bad (or already moldy), deli selection is terrible and tastes very processed / chemically, removed the olive bar, and seems like a lot of items haven't been restocked in awhile. Bought a granny cart and will be going to Whole Foods from now on.
My favorite neighborhood bodega with hands down the best bodega coffee ever. The bfast sandwiches are great as well. They also have a great produce section with fresh fruits and veggies (overpriced but nice if you're in a rush to get something quick)

This store is ok, convenient for me, I only go because it's super convenient, prices are not good. Quality is not good
Deli customer service is awful. So rude. Never will come back again. I could understand if I requested anything extra, but just ordered a salad. That’s set. Guys, if you are tired, just take some rest. There is nothing to be rude with customers for that. People pay for the food, they don’t get it for free. Giving 2 stars bcz cashier ladies are so nice and they have a smile.

Hard to describe this place. Foremost, friendly staff and open 24 hours a day. Deli within along with many food options that they cook for you on the spot. You can dine in and the seats are comfortable both at the table and at the window. Very clean and very reasonable. Wish we had something like this in Los angeles.
Great corner store with a little bit of everything.
The market is clean with good variety, similarly priced to Whole Foods but without the crazy line. The manager is really nice, and would go out of his way to be kind to my toddler. Having such nice staff makes grocery shopping with small children less stressful.
Well Stocked and Well Maintained. I moved here a few months ago and we ALWAYS stop by for some snacks or last minute dinner items. Kudos to the staff for always accommodating and treating their customers well 👏

Makes sure to bring your own bags and be prepared to wait on a line for the cashier during peak hours. Also this place has fresh brewed coffee and a full lunch bar if you’re looking for ready make food or a last minute picnic.

New addition to the area as of the time of this post. It has a section to order sandwiches, paninis, salads, and pasta which is standard for your NYC "market" (a somewhat higher end deli). Their grab and go section has a decent selection of cold pastas and things like grilled chicken. They also have grocery section with some fruits and vegetables and dairy products. In the front they also sell coffee, baked goods, pre-cut fruit, and I saw what looked like a fresh orange juice maker behind the counter.

My first sandwich from here was a breaded chicken sandwich and I'll admit it was on the dry side. Perhaps the grilled chicken would have been better. I gave it another chance and got a classic Philly which was actually quite flavorful. Their hero bread is in the soft side. I would have preferred if the outside of mine was more toasty.

Their groceries selections are somewhat slim. The prices are comparable to a market about 4 blocks away, thought some items like eggs are a little pricier here by a dollar or two. They sell some beers as well. They also have general necessities like paper towels and cleaning materials in the back area but again, very limited selection. I think they could have made better utilization of the amount of actual space they have inside to expand their selection but they still may be adding things since they opened not too long ago.

Overall I was excited to have a the market office across the street though I was expecting more of a grocery selection than a deli. I'll be looking to see how the selection changes.

Update: They've added a large cheese selection and I'm so happy about it!
I live across the street . I travel and review. This is 5 stars
Fresh quick wraps and other prepared lunch dishes. Good selection of fresh vegetables. The soup is where it is at here. Every day the cook has 3 new soups of the day, each being authentic in flavor and then some. Broths to each soup have their own flavor appeal without being too thick and unctuous like Hale and Hearty. Don't bother with the chicken noodle soup as it is not nearly as spectacular as the others hidden under the tops.

I absolutely LOVE this store. We actually started shopping at a new store closer to where we live but it just didn't compare to Food Bazaar.
My only complaint (and it's a VERY recent one) is that two weeks in a row, we bought chicken and some in the package were good and some weren't. I don't know what's up with that, but we're going to start buying organic chicken again and see if the same problem happens.
Other than that, like I said, it's a really great supermarket.
Great sandwiches, at a affordable price. Jut tell the landlord to turn the heat on!! Very friendly staff.
The delivery service here is inflexible and unfriendly (don't dare call to change the delivery address), but the breakfast sandwiches are amazing. The chipotle and egg sandwich on a portugese muffin is incredible and a must-try. The prices are reasonable too.
