What makes this Courthouse exceptional are the people who work there the security staff the judges and legal assistance stenographers Court officers. A well-run environment dispensing Justice and taking the role of a courthouse seriously.
I have never seen a slow-moving system as the NYS court system, especially in Rockland County. How long does it take a Judge to sign divorce papers? All you hear is that COVID backed us up. I live in Texas now, and divorce papers are signed and delivered within three months. My filing started in 2014 my ex and I signed in 2022. Forget about contacting your attorney because once the majority of the money was paid, then you are on the pay-no-mind list but that's a different review.
The most corrupt building in Rockland County. From judges to lawyers and the disrespectful staff . Not to mention overpaid court officers with tyrant attitudes. Every employee including judges should be investigated
A Very very 'unhelpful' clerk was doing the opposite of trying to help me with a simple task of my request to record a properly prepared document prepared by my local village. I'm truly disappointed in this tormenting experience in a government office clearly unprofessional. I hope you can avoid such an experience here.. if I could leave a negative star I would!

Every 10 years I get a jury duty summons even though I am a type 1 diabetic who gets excused for obvious reasons. Why can't a permanent disability be recorded?
It would eliminate the process of getting the jury duty questionnaire (which should offer the opportunity to begin the getting excused process), wait for the actual summons that gives the date to appear, then be told to get the doctor's letter ASAP?
This is a waste of paper, postage, the county's time, my time and the doctor's time. It's the 21st Century.
