I love English camp. It's a great historical monument to peace, not war. Despite its origin in the pig wars, the English and Americans had a cooperative relationship even during the squabble over borders. The historic buildings, gardens, Fort, and orchards are great fun to explore. At least once, they had a living history experience set up. I hope it returns. Enjoy!

Great visitor center explaining US and British conflict over the international border during the Pig War in mid 1800s. Contains American Camp with white fences and some buildings and signage. Beautiful prairie grass, Cattle Pass, Gulf of Juan da Fuca views. Lots of native flora and fauna including a red fox that was hunting voles.

Beautiful trails and not too many visitors! The history trail with interp signs is very informative and a fun read/walk. Rare native grassland habitat that is so wonderful to hear swaying in the wind.

I’m not really a history buff so this wasn’t that interesting to me. I did, however, enjoy the view. Also, the staff working there was very knowledgeable.

This was a great park. We saw several foxes, bald eagles, seals, and sea lions. There are plenty of different trails to hike and a nice visitor center. The park is well maintained and in a stunning location. The old camp was nicer than any infantry duty station I ever had.
