Staff's behavior was very bad..not traind staff,use abusive language ..food was okay..dont visit here very bad.

While shopping in the Mall went there for quick breakfast and had idly and tea. The food was value for money and the service was very quick.

Not recommended
Shouldn't call itself a South Indian restaurant!

We went to Malgudi for some light dinner:

1) Food:

We ordered Dosa(butter), Uttapam(onion) and Fountain Marinda.
Dosa was made in butter and it was heavy to digest, though tasty.
Aloo was served seperately with Dosa.

Uttapam: was more like a bread. Not at all recommended. You can have idea about the same in the pics,

Fountain Mirinda: was expecting this to be served like old ways but got it in other way.

2) Ambience:

It is in food court, so u can expect less sitting and look for the vacant chairs to enjoy food

3) Service:

Food was served in mins, so good part.

4) Price:

High on price.

Overall: a ok2 place

You get one of the best South Indian coffee here... Also, you can ask them to make it a bit stronger as per your taste.

Prices have increased 2 times higher however quantity is very less, 2 idli and 1 medu vada costs 190rs and in the name of Sambhaar water was served. Will never ever order again from this place

Just had thali but the 2 laccha Paratha which I got along with the meal were not fresh ..they were hard like tanduri roti.still i was eating but when I have had enough I raised the issue to the store and the guy who took my order was inside the kitchen and another guy on the counter was just arguing.though it was just 5 to 10 min i received the order.. it was so bad . But they were not agreeing tht it was not fresh and so hard ... Where laccha Paratha is supposed to be soft... They replaced one Paratha after 5 ,7 min argument. But still the way I was treated was bad ...and dishonest it was not being fresh .why I cn say because there was a meal kept on counter having 2 Paratha in it seeing that I ordered but in few min that tray went inside and my meal had those parathas is i doubt and served with my thali .they might hv just warmed it in microwave.otherwise laccha Paratha won't be that hard .... Won't come here again....very bad experience.....

The kanchipuram idli I ordered was very dry and felt like it was prepared couple of hours earlier. Sambhar quality was not good however the chutneys were very good. Tea was average and could have beeen better considering the premium one pays for it. The menu does have a lot of options in various categories as well as also offers combos.
