National City Golf Course

Very affordable green fees, really cant beat it for it. All 9 holes are very fun with some challenging tees, very forgiving fairways, dont expect luxuries, but for the fees it just cant get better. Be coming back for sure.

We took our class to the driving range and had an amazing time! Thank you to Jose and all the staff for being so gracious and welcoming and giving the students a five star experience. Your kindness and generosity was next level. Not only do we plan to bring the students back for more time hitting balls, but we are looking forward to staying longer and enjoying a meal at the cafe.

NCGC has some distinct advantages:

It's not an executive is it? More like half a full size course with a genuine 5 par hole and mostly par 4's.

Casual. You can take family, friends, new-golfers here and feel comfortable. It's possible to get a 3-some without being forced to add on some random single.

Friendly guy in the drink cart who will make you a spicy margarita or whatever you want.

Low cost to play and friendly staff.

The driving range is unusual and kind of cool - concrete. And so close to where you wait for hole #1.

I hope to play this place a few more times this year.

Not a bad course but not a great one either, different types of holes from par 3 to 5 but main entrance to hole one is still under construction so you have to drive elround the course to get to it. Driving range is cool but mainly dirt but has drums as targets so it makes noise once hit (pretty cool).
Pretty affordable course. Gold carts are all pretty rough but #40 was what I used (1st come first serve) and that one was pretty decent just seat torn and chunk missing.
Over all course not bad good to walk also because you still have to wait for your previous group to play :)

The course is beautiful, way better than many full 18-hole courses I’ve been to. I’ve seen many wonderful improvements made to this golf course compared to previous years. The course is also well kept.

The people that work there are so polite, friendly, and respectful. Shout out to the General Manager Jose- a great and humble person, always on top of things, taking the time to listen, catering to players’ needs, socializing with the guests and always making you feel welcomed. The food there is awesome. Got to know some of the workers, great people.

I highly recommend this golf course to all my friends and family.

This golf course is the perfect size and price for a good solid practice round. I've been playing this course for around 20 years. It's a fun 9-hole, one if the better in San Diego. I've had a bunch of memorable rounds there but recently I finally hit my first Hole-in-One on hole #6!! I had one of my sons with me for good luck. One of the best values in San Diego County. 10 out of 10, I recommend!
