Place is a bit small but clean and tidy. Toilets are also well maintained. Limited staffs. But they are friendly.
As mostly bad comment same like others plus there was no proper seating besides those small bench provided. The entrance female Malay staff for 16/9/23 2:50pm show also poor in service always given excuses not solution. Why GSC cinema outside KL can have sofa & proper seat for waiting. KL cinemas are suck big time.
Really disappointed when I come there to purchase tickets for jailer movie at 9.15pm show at the self service tickets counter , money has been deducted but tickets not out , I call the staff to solve the problem but the answer was really make me angry. Simply said just purchase another tickets and the money was not capture at their stupid system Wow its just like that u handle the customer?😒 Rm 159.00 for 6 pax with set combo meals. End up I hv to pay again Rm 117 without meals and have to wait for 14 days to get back my. Really disappointed

Toilets seem like it came out from the 90s. Projector screen that is so dirty, I can count the black spots as I was watching my movie.

Cinema looks a bit old and seat was a bit uncomfortable. Tight squeeze to be honest. AC was not so strong too.
Our recent visit to GSC Setapak Central turned out to be there worst and incredibly frustrating experience due to the abysmal customer service and deceptive practices employed by the staff. It was evident that the employees lacked any sense of responsibility or willingness to ensure customer satisfaction.
Upon placing our order, to our dismay, we were informed that the item we had chosen was no longer in stock. It was deeply frustrating that the cinema failed to manage their inventory properly, leading to the unavailability of a basic item.
To make matters worse, instead of offering alternatives or sincerely apologizing for the inconvenience caused, the staff resorted to force us to take a drink we didn't want, as if it was the only option available. It shows a complete disregard for customer preferences and an underlying desire to maximize profits rather than providing a quality experience.
The lack of attentiveness and basic customer care continued throughout our visit. The staff members appeared disinterested and indifferent, making it difficult to address our concerns or obtain any assistance. It was as if we were inconveniencing them with our presence, and any attempt to communicate our dissatisfaction was met with dismissive and unhelpful responses.
In conclusion, GSC Setapak Central's terrible customer service, coupled with their deceptive practices, made for an incredibly disappointing visit. Worst customer service ever. Bad attitude from all staff and wrongly gave us the direction to leave from cinema to mall, leading us to wander at the back staircase (dark and dirty) trying to figure a way out. When asked about using the toilet after leaving the hall, they asked us to use the mall's toilet which is obviously closed at 12am. Will never go to gsc setapak central ever again.
