Lovely park. So big, clean and serene. Worth visiting. I even sat down and did a freehand sketch. Great spot for plein air sketching/painting. Paid parking available right outside the park.
Such a beautiful place even on a cloudy day. The water gardens were stunning and very interesting.
Inside Hellbrunn was fairly small but also very nice.
Use the number 25 bus to get here! We made the mistake of using the 840 which Google suggested. It cost extra (3.10 EUR per person) due to not being covered by the Salzburg card.

A beautiful park and must see for any traveler. I was personally excited to see the Sound of Music filming locations and this was on my list. I was on a self guided bike tour with my mother. It is very accessible for people on bikes as well as those on foot. We were able to get to it by bike from Salzburg city. If you want to ride down yellow walls leading up to the castle, you can. It feels like you have been transported back in time to be riding a bike down that path.
