Service is always great here! Attentive servers and great food. The sushi is always fresh and I can always count on that. The only negative is it has become primarily takeout, which is great, but that is not super reflective to customers dining in and makes for a bit of an awkward experience. Other than that, love this spot!

I also tried the agedashi tofu this time around, but found that the outer layer was really soggy. The toppings however were delicious. I’m not sure I would order it again.

I ate hweadubbub, parkview sushi and rolls, and it was very good quality. The food was so yammmy and I highly recommend this restaurant if you find a good sushi restaurant in Uptown. I will visit again soon.

No frills, tasty and fresh.
Simple yet delightful! The food is both delicious and fresh, served with impressive speed. Last evening, my friends and I arrived just 20 minutes before closing time. Despite our leisurely dining pace, we never felt rushed, and the staff never once mentioned the closing time even we overstayed about 30 minutes. If you're looking for a swift and scrumptious meal, I wholeheartedly recommend this place.

I live very close to Wako Sushi but never thought to try it as it's rarely busy which usually isn't a good sign for a restaurant. I finally ordered two bento boxes on the Skip the Dishes, which I found to be pretty average. The price is a bit high, at $24, but it was quite expensive for a bento box of this quality. I found my chicken teriyaki to be quite bland, I wish it was grilled with a bit more fire to get a charred taste. The salmon sashimi that was included was also not the best, although the slices were quite thick and the portion was good. Not to say I didn't think it was fresh, but I just didn't enjoy the texture or taste overall. The tempura, miso soup and salad were all okay.

I probably won't be back as there are plenty of better sushi and Asian restaurants in the Yonge and Finch area.

Wako is my favourite sushi spot in the city! The food is incredible and the fish is very fresh. The service is always on point. The atmosphere is filled with kind lighting and lovely music. I have easily been over a hundred times throughout the years. Whether you’re with family, friends, colleagues or by yourself, Wako is a restaurant you do not want to gloss over. I always order the Orange Dragon Roll when I go!

Observing the menu displayed outside, I selected the Wako bento priced at $26.99. Although it was expensive, it appeared to be a generous serving. Upon entering to make my payment, I was charged $31.95 instead of the advertised price. I requested to be charged the correct amount of $26.99, but the staff declined even after conversing with their manager. This contradictory approach of displaying one price and charging another is perplexing. The food I received was satisfactory, but it did not justify the total cost of $36 after taxes. It is important to honor your advertised prices and rectify any errors made.
Don't cheat your customers.I will come back to see the sign is up or not.

After the movies we decided to eat out. Although Wako wasn't out first choice we decided to try it out. Once we walked in we were greeted and seated quickly. Service was slow but our server let us know in advance which was nice. She refilled our glasses with green tea and I really liked the aroma of it. After 15 mins our food came out. The food tasted great and service was exceptional. Would come back again.
