Augustiner Erfurt

I am a little late in writing my review! In May of 23, three other professors and I took 20 students on a study abroad trip across Europe. On our bus trip to Erfurt, I looked online and tried to find somewhere that could seat 24 people. I found the Augustiner and immediately loved the atmosphere shown in the pictures. I emailed the restaurant and asked if they could accommodate all of us for dinner the next day. ( I waited with fingers crossed as I knew it was last minute). I got an email back telling us they would be more than happy to have us and had room for all of us to sit together! The hostess was wonderful, kind, and engaging to everyone in our group. We knew were a large group and were mindful to be respectful of those around us. We had the most amazing food and service! We loved it! I highly recommend this restaurant and staff that would go out of their way to show us such fantastic hospitality!

Hidden gem . Good food good surroundings awesome beer and staff. Loved it .

The food quality can really be improved. The potato salad today needed more salt and vinegar, the chicken was Luke warm as was the meat from the Wiesnhaxn burger which had also a bone in it. We have had meals here the last couple years and find the Hofbräu serves far better quality meals for the same price

Nice place to sit down with friends and have a drink and food. Feels like you siting somewhere in the nature, not in the center if town- river, trees. We got to enjoy street music performance

Brilliant place by the river and bridge at Erfurt serving traditional German Cuisine and salads, not forgetting the deserts and beers !!

This is a true authentic German brew pub.
Old style rock walls, large wooden beams and some of the best beer and food I've had in a long time. Don't miss an opportunity to come here and relax with a beer with friends or make a few while you are here!
