Massive telescope
Certainly worth a browse with plenty of astronomy related trinkets to be had. There was some good stuff available as well as the usual gift shop, dare I say tat. Having said that I did succumb to buying a compass at £25.
I was able to see Saturn from one of the early designed telescope. This place helped in advancing the Astronomy a lot. I also liked the mechanism used in opening roof windows to be able to observe the stars.
