GW Fins

Second time here. Highly recommend. Everything is fantastic! Come here if you love fish and other seafood. Also come here if you have dietary restrictions as they are very accommodating. Desserts are fantastic. We had the bread pudding and salty malty ice cream pie.

Amazing dinner. Crispy pork belly appetizer was so delicious. The aged blue fin tuna was perfect. The Louisiana swordfish was my favorite, and for dessert, the bread pudding was fantastic.

You will not regret going to GW Fins! Had the best experiences here! We go every trip to NOLA. Gabby was our server. Ask for her. She offered knowledgeable tips about every step of our meal. Must try: pork belly, firecracker tacos, pear salad, Parmesan sheepshead, Scalibut, coconut on the half shell, bread pudding. Great wine selection as well. Split entrees for us as needed.

Fantastic service, food, and ambiance! Really enjoyed the Scalibut, which felt like a really unique dish. The dirty rice and collard greens were also a surprise hit at the table. It took a while to get seated (even with a reservation) but once seated service was well-paced and friendly. Would definitely go back!

Difficult to find something that is not great here. The food was amazing and I cannot details which one was the best because it was so good. I am a steak guy. I eat steak for breakfast, lunch and dinner. And I absolutely loved their fish. It was incredible.

The service from Noelle was very professional, very friendly. This is the perfect place for every occasion. Obviously the atmosphere of the bourbon Street add to the excellence of this restaurant.

I would like to add something else.

Ernest brought some goldfish crackers to my son between the appetizer and the main course. If you are the manager/owner, I would be glad to have an employee like that who can observe, anticipate and make the right move at the right time. - we came 10/28 (table of 7)

I took a few colleagues from out of state here for dinner, but it was my first time here as well. It was FABULOUS! Service was fantastic and my dinner, the swordfish, was truly one of a kind. Not to mention the best espresso martini I've ever had! (I've had lots) ;)
I'm already planning a date night with my husband so I can share the experience with him.

Outstanding dinner. In a city that serves tourists, GW Fins is excellent. Lightly fried oysters appetizer, fresh beet & coat cheese salad too my shrimp, mushroom & pasta in a avocado sauce dinner! Finished with a lite coconut sorbet and an excellent cup of coffee! A must visit for a wonderful dinner!
