Cool find. Geologically interesting and awesome. Dangerous footing.

Worth finding and hiking the short trail to from the road. Best kept secret on the Schoodic Peninsula! Use common sense and you’ll be fine. Don’t bring kids. The park staff will not disclose where this is located. It is a few miles past Frazer Point on the right, unmarked. There is a graveled place on the shoulder to pull off and park on the left, with room for two cars. Follow the tree root trail across the road.

I don't like heights but loved this place! It is one of the coolest and easiest points to access in Acadia. Just be careful as some paths are very close to high ledges, and slippery / wet conditions could make this area a fall hazard for some.

Beautiful place, about 200 feet off the Schoodic Loop, offers great views of the way and is tuck in enough to make you feel like you are along, great place to sit, relax and just ponder. There are is no signage but it has been tagged on google maps so it’s easy to find.

Absolute beauty! You can find parking just opposite to the trail. It is 200ft before the location tagged in google maps.

This was our 3rd trip to Acadia National Park and it never disappoints. Ravens Nest was a little hard to find and isn’t on the Park Services maps (idiots unsupervised by dangerous cliffs are not a good mix) but was worth the effort to find. It was much less crowded and had beautiful views you had to just stick to the existing paths and not get too close to the edge for pictures. Enjoy!

Wow!!! This place is so undiscovered and unmaintained that it restores its calmness and beauty. There is a small parking by the one way traffic road ( 2cars), so better park after you cross a bridge and see signs of boat launch parking. We didn’t get the parking by the raven’s nest at first and we thought there is no such place, since it has got so less reviews here. Took the entire one way loop, drove 40mins and came back for second try coz we were nearing sunset and schoodic point isn’t that great for sunsets.luckily got the parking this time and a small hike through the shrubs would bring you to the unexplored raven’s nest. I have no idea why it is called that. But with bare-minimum fencing (so mind you steps), you can watch an amazing untouched beach with the view of cliff and a perfect romantic sunset point (which can only be enjoyed by couple of people as it isn’t a big place to sit)
