Nice and cosy place. The food I did not like. My stomach did not feel good after eating it. Very heavy, oily. The wine was bad also. And to be honest it was very expensive considering what you eat. 160 eur for 2 people the eat a sort of gratine mini pasta with cheese and ham, a sort of pizza and poor wine. No thanks

Good food, interesting decor. A quaint little restaurant near the market with magical sorcerers and witches decorating the interior and exterior. Hearty meals done well that will fill hungry stomachs on a cold day. Prices are rather high for the simplicity of the dishes. Most impressive dish was the Canard burger which was delicious! Shredded duck confit smashed into a patty with crispy edges topped with juicy tomatoes, rocket leaves (balancing the richness of the patty) on a brioche bun, perfect! The fries were abiT of a let down as they were the frozen kind and were a little undercooked and bland. Only saved by the tomatoe ketchup that came on the side. Overall a satisfying but pricey meal if you are a tourist just visiting.

One of the most touristic streets in Colmar and therefore the choice limited to rather overpriced and crowded places. Despite this we had a nice lunch experience with Tartes Flambées and Onion Soup. Waitress very friendly and all smiles.

Nice place with a special style. Good food. The Fleischpastete was very good. Three German translation of the menu was not always correct. It is easier to communicate when you speak french.

Polite staff, nice place, just a strong bad smell. It spoiled the whole atmosphere. Simple dishes without anything special and quite stingy prices. The beer suggested by the waiter was excellent.

Sub standard food for prices that would have garnered more elsewhere. Obviously re-heated and somewhat bland. Skimped on vegetables and sauce in my partner’s Rœsti. Dough was raw in places on my meat pie. We were also charged €3.50 for tap water - an unwelcome surprise which is NOT normal in France irrespective of what a tour book may have said 20 years ago. Would never return.

This place is at least 4.5 stars! The ratings do not reflect the restaurant at all! Our experience was 5 stars! Great service, good food! Amazing really.
Food is simple and delicious and VERY well priced! We had an appetizer and two big meals, dessert and 5 alcohol drinks and it was only €100!
This is a little hidden gem. Sit outside and enjoy the people watching!
