Great place to escape the crowds and relax more peacefully! No mischief on this island

A nice little park and a great place to see some local birds such as geese and American Robins.

Its a piece full place for jogging and cycling. It has a public restroom and free water tap in park. Plenty of sitting by the water with a wonder full view of east side Manhattan.

Great part of Roosevelt Island with a nice walk to look out on Queens and the water.

Small, quiet park good to visit for 30-60mins. Cornell tech is a short walk away to grab a coffee too.

It's a good place to chill. Too bad they don't have many places where you can sit. The view is awesome. Would definitely recommend visiting the park if you're looking for some peace on your day.

I walk and bike in this park since it was opened. What I can say is that I enjoy the setting and the layout and the exceptional views of Manhattan, especially at sunset, and the resident Canadian geese, and the relative quietness. Many comfortable benches, clean and large alleys... Also, it flows into the Four Freedoms Park, which is beautiful by itself.
Reach it by subway, taking a walk from the F train, at Roosevelt Island station, or the famous Roosevelt Island (cable)Tram, along the Japanese cherry alley and the new Cornell Tech campus, which make your visit even more worthwhile.
