Great national park has a lot of history here.
The visitor centers at the park are wonderful! The store, however, is closed at this center, so you have to stop at another to purchase items. The trail itself is closed past Brooks Village for some upgrades, but it's still a great hiking/biking experience. While we were there, they were filming a movie! See the pictures.
Recommend you come here on Patriots Day for the battle reenactment with hundreds of reenactors.
I wish I had a bicycle to ride through this beautiful park, it would've been beneficial to get to each historical site. I recommend allowing yourself time to wonder through the park.
An easy nature walk. Many people seem to come here to walk their dogs. Wide, relatively flat paths, but some rough patches due to water erosion that they’re currently working on.
They were kind enough to hand me a map before closing. I don’t know if they have a location for maps outside their building, but it would be a good addition for those who come after hours of the center.
Just be careful where you step around the juniper tree beside the interpretive sign for the Captain William Smith House. I spotted a ground bees nest behind the tree. They’re not aggressive but from past landscaping experience they get a little testy if you step directly on the nest. Lol

Great little visitor center. Nice 25 minute free video talking about the start of the Revolutionary War. Free admission. Plenty of parking. Great way to start your park visit.
Great place to visit. Make sure you are in for a long walk or a timely drive. Great history. Clean bathroom at both visitor centers.
Beautifully maintained national park. Battle Rd. provides a nice and easy walk around period homes,fields and farmland. Great time to visit around Patriots Day weekend.
