The Golf Course is maintained quite efficiently with Sewage Water Treatment Plant in Place to meet the enormous Watering Requirement of the Golf Course, Processing up to a Million Litres of Water every Day. The Green is manicured nicely with Finely Cut grass. The Tree Line is just so Refreshing and you can also Spot a lot of Birds here including Fruit Bats and Vultures. Huge Frogs, Snakes and Mongooses complete the Animal Kingdom here where the Nature is at its Best.
However the only Pain-Point is the Restaurant where Maintenance work goes on till 9Pm invariably and Staff too are Uninviting and Rude. The Members too Honk merrily at the Car Park Areas and Lobby Areas. So if you are there to enjoy a Quite Drink or Dinner then you would be in for an Unpleasant Experience. But if you want to just Tee Off for sometime and get out, there is no better place for Golf in Pune.

Visited the golf course for a Birthday celebration held in the 1st floor party area.
Food was very good, service was excellent and the air conditioning absolutely effective in fact we had to request the Air conditioning to be adjusted as it was cold.

The Poona Club golf course is the only 18 hole golf course situated in the city. Spread over 100 acres & dotted with majestic banyan trees and other flowering trees. The course is well appreciated for its water bodies and fast & true greens by many professional golfers who visit our course. The club has nearly a thousand golfers and you find it a busy place at any time of the year. The club conducts 40 tournaments in a year including the Maharashtra open and players from other cities look forward to taking part. In addition, the Club conducts National events for Men, Ladies, juniors and seniors under the aegis of the Indian Golf Union.
Apart from a chipping yard, a driving range & putting practice greens, the course has a unique flood lit night driving range that offers a practice facility from 5.00pm till 9.30 pm every day of the week. The charges being very nominal, makes the facilities the cheapest in the city as well as in the country. “The Pro shop” in the premises offers branded equipment on sale/rent as per your need.
The Poona club Golf Course offers excellent training facilities for seniors, juniors and many other categories too. Coaching Clinics under the guidance of Professional Teachers are organized regularly at a very competent cost that includes free equipment and golf balls. The golfing experience here is great...the Starter and everyone on the staff are super helpful and courteous ! Just being on the course is beautiful!
It's a 18 hole challenging golf course. Basic breakfast, lunch and dinner available. You can enjoy a cool evening with friends and relatives. Presently course under maintenance.
