Thank you for standing up for the American people!

Would give them 25 negative stars if possible. This organization has done the country terrible harm and their web site is full of misleading stories. As Mr. Justice Holmes said "Taxes are what we pay for a civilized society"
To constantly argue for no taxes is stupid,.

Great organization!

A powerful advocate for limited taxation.

Paul Blair is awesome

Americans for Tax Reform opposes all tax increases as a matter of principle, believing in a system in which taxes are simpler, flatter, more visible, and lower than they are today. The government's power to control one's life derives from its power to tax; therefore, this group strives to minimize that power. Founded in 1985 by Grover Norquist at the request of President Reagan, the flagship project of Americans for Tax Reform is the Taxpayer Protection Pledge, a written promise by legislators and candidates for office that commits them to oppose any effort to increase income taxes on individuals and businesses. Today the Taxpayer Protection Pledge is offered to every candidate for state and federal office and to all incumbents. Nearly 1,400 elected officials, from state representative to governor to US Senator, have signed the Pledge, which has been promoted on the state-level in the early 1990s. Additionally, Americans for Tax Reform works with state-based center-right groups to help replicate ATR’s national Wednesday Meeting in the states. Currently, there are over 48 meetings in 40 states. These meetings bring together a broad cross-section of the center-right community- taxpayer groups, social conservative groups, business groups, legislators, etc., to promote limited government ideals.
We thank Americans for Tax Reform for their leadership in the most important aspect of our government, as they ensure that we, the people, are not abused through taxation!
