This restaurant’s fried rice is one of the best in town and it is also one of my favourite chinese restaurants in town.

Being a well established restaurant, Chuai Heng has plenty of local customers and its standard is still good after all these years. Special mention goes to the fried rice, truffle mushroom noodles and suckling pig. Super tasty and crunchy!

On weekdays, there is a set meal for 10 for rm 998 including suckling pig which is a pretty good deal. The other dishes are good too except perhaps the chili fish and vegetables which was not much to my liking.

Thought free parking outside, but when wanna go off, an Indian guy come and collect 5 MYR for parking fee. Food not really delicious. So far so good. Services really needs to improve.

Had dim sum breakfast here - variety of options in the menu. Overall, it tastes average and nothing really stands out. I find the texture of the dim sum too chewy for my liking. As expected, the price is on the higher end which costs RM500++ for a breakfast of 8 people. Great service and ambience. Valet parking is available at RM10. But if you park outside their place, they'll still charge RM10 without valet service.

Come for dim sum lunch. Not amomg the best I had tasted before. Super expensive car park which did not clear denote it is a valet service, charged at RM 10 despite going for the lunch. Apart from this the service is very good.

Chuai Heng is an established name for fine Chinese cuisine & dim sum. While I have visited this place on many occasions over the last several years, this my first review of the restaurant.
After having moved into this current building from its previous main road location, the place is not much bigger and is able to accommodate more customers and offers more private rooms of various sizes with karaoke facilities.
This time I’m here to attend a CNY dinner where yu sang is a must have dish ! The rest of the dishes as can be seen from the pics are all good with reasonable portion. Parking may be difficult to find but once inside the restaurant, there’s plenty of venue options to choose from single private room to private event areas for 6-10 tables etc.
Prices though certainly not cheap …… so be prepared to pay 4 figures per table for dinner !

They did provide an outsource wedding reception catering according to your settings.

Food wise still on par. Quality is good. Especially liking their soup, so savoury and flavourful. Serving size is good. Ingredient size is good. Using fresh ingredients. Unfortunately quite disappointed for the duck leg serving, a bit troublesome when serve with single plastic gloves only and expect us to chew like a primitive cave men. Still better they serve with glove and fork knife culinary for guest to choose from. And also not everyone can pull and chew with their denture please....

Visited for a friend’s wedding dinner. Food is ok overall (except for the rice dish, it’s not glutinous rice & char siew piece I got is fully fat). Good service and attentive staffs, wine & tea was always filled.
