Pike Place Fish Market

We had a choice of seeing the needle or the market, we chose wisely. This was a must place for us and were very lucky to have spent some time there. The whole market is a fantastic gem and so unique. Wether it was the donut shop, the ice creamery, the nut place, the cheese and oil…. We were there an afternoon but could have easily spent two days there. Of course the fish market was the peek of the visit. Yori was handing out samples and I think between my wife and I we must have sampled a couple of pounds. Yori who grew up there also offered the history of the market and I was lucky to get that from first hand knowledge. DO NOT miss this part of American history. BTW everyone was so helpful, so courteous so happy in their own environment. Do It!!

After I read the book "FISH", it was clear for me that I want to see this fish market for real in Seattle. Many thanks to Sibylle, she lent me the book to read. So we did the visit during a business trip, and it was a wonderful experience. If you are planning to go to Seattle, take your time to visit this unique fish market.

INCREDIBLY BUSY even for a week day. We didn't get to see everything at the market because there were so many people and we didn't want to have to push through the crowd. The flowers smelled absolutely divine though!

This is a great seafood vendor and attraction in Pike Place Market, located in Seattle. This vendor is where visitors can see the famous fish throwing. The staff are very helpful and provide amazing entertainment by throwing fish. They can ship their fresh seafood, anywhere in the United States overnight.

What an amazing place to walk through, and check out all the neat shops. Great fresh fish, flowers 💐 are some of the best I've ever seen. There's also a nasty gum ally that's fun to see. Across the street is the first Starbucks.

Everything here is so fresh and looks so good! It's also fun to watch the guys throw the fish... so buy one! It's worth it!

Super crowded but fun experience. They definitely like to entertain. The fish looks amazing but it's not cheap! They made taking fresh fish home to Florida easy.
