Blink and you could miss this 200yr old Honey Kiln. Nestled in a copse of trees, this little piece of Toronto's' history is worth the walk
This place changed my life. My wife came back from her boyfriend, I've gained the love and respect of my children, I got a better job, got the latest honda civic model, and I've gained the attention I yearned for at my local disco.
Although it may be small, the history is amazing. I really recommend visiting. It is a nice walk too!
Erie place. Feels quite different, as your are visiting history. Great place to visit to checkout Toronto's historical past
A cool old Easter egg in the woods for people to find. As far as kilns goes, it’s probably one of the oldest and biggest you’ll find in the Don Valley.
It's not that impressive, but gives your pleasant walk in the woods a focal point or goal.
Very interesting area and first time here today. Very close to home and had no idea of the area and even Beechwood Drive winding down to Crothers Woods. Beautiful day spent hiking and it was so quite except going the other way and DVP noise but really nice spot and with parking. Looks like someone has been living here as they built a lean to in front of the firepit. And a lot of tracks going under. Possibly kids from the area. Hopes it doesn't get destroyed.
This was a great day with even better friends when we visited the Great Honey Kiln. It was probably the oldest honey kiln I’ve ever seen.
