Mini Central Park lookalike. It is beautiful with a pond in the middle of the park with a bridge over it. They do offer boat rides to explore the park on water, which is nice. There are plenty of statues that are filled with historical information. The park looks well maintained and parking is, of course, paid street parking. Great place for a walk to enjoy nature.
Fitting monument for an infamous event. Just one of the many stops along the Freedom Trail.

If you’ve been to Central Park in NY before, then Boston common is the junior sibling to Central Park 😂

Boston common is beautiful and a great relaxing place for you and your family. It’s also not too far from downtown Boston where there’s so much hustling and bustling.

I loved it and I’m sure you will enjoy it. 💕

We live in London, UK and so are accustomed to having numerous large parks and green spaces to enjoy. Many cities sadly lack this vital component which is why it was so nice to see Boston Common when visiting recently..

It is a fantastic park, clearly loved by locals and tourists alike. We enjoyed learning about The Big Dig, one of the most technically-challenging infrastructure developments ever undertaken in the US (at a true cost of more than $20bn!), and how a once monstrous highway system was put underground reuniting neighbourhoods and opening up a long strip of green spaces. Urban renewal done right!

Nice, historic city park with lots of markers as well as lots of activities. There is a parking garage underneath it. You can also rent bicycles and go on the Freedom Trail, which starts at Boston Common. You can walk the Freedom Trail with a tour guide, too, for a fee.

Beautiful park to walk around. Plenty to see and lots of places to sit. Very dog friendly and peaceful. Visitor Centre very helpful. Just loved walking around and seeing how well the park is looked after.
It is a beautiful statue in the Bristol garden. It's made9f bronze, and he sits atop a horse.
Located between Berkley Street and Arlington Street on Commonwealth Avenue. Made of Granite.
Great meeting space, several different meeting rooms. Nice at M atmosphere, ambiance & history. Boston traffic, not so much! 😒

After reading about the history of this horrible incident, the visit to this site was quite moving. It is a well-preserved site, and there are city ambassadors close by to tell you about its significance.

The food is pretty good, but expect to feel that your presence there is an inconvenience. At one point we were told to stop ordering additional items because they were busy. We wrapped up the meal so we wouldn't further contribute to their busyness. Glad to be of service!

This city gives off major European vibes – easily one of my top picks in the U.S., mainly because it's so refreshingly different from most American cities. The architecture and the stunning parks? They're just amazing.

Nice park. Not much to do except go for a walk and splash in Frog Pond in the summer and skate on Frog Pond in the winter. There was also a carousel but nobody was in the ticket booth so it was not operating.

I love how at the entrance of the park there is a dispenser for SPF 30 sunscreen. Such a great idea!

Boston Common, the oldest public park in the United States, is a captivating urban oasis nestled in the heart of Boston. This historic landmark offers a serene escape from the bustling city, providing visitors with a picturesque setting and a glimpse into the city's rich history.

The park's lush green spaces, tranquil ponds, and well-maintained pathways make it an ideal spot for leisurely strolls, picnics, or simply unwinding amidst nature. The iconic Swan Boats, a beloved attraction, offer a charming and nostalgic experience as they glide across the water.

Boston Common's historical significance adds to its allure. It has served as a gathering place for public events, protests, and celebrations throughout the centuries. The park's central location also makes it a convenient starting point for exploring nearby attractions, such as the Freedom Trail and the Massachusetts State House.

The park's amenities, including benches, playgrounds, and sports fields, cater to a variety of interests and age groups. It is a popular destination for families, joggers, dog walkers, and tourists alike. However, during peak times, the park can become crowded, which may detract from the tranquility and peacefulness it typically offers.

The park's proximity to downtown Boston and its accessibility via public transportation make it easily reachable for both locals and visitors. Additionally, the park hosts various events and festivals throughout the year, adding vibrancy and entertainment to the experience.

In conclusion, Boston Common is a captivating and historic urban oasis that offers a peaceful retreat in the heart of the city. Its lush green spaces, picturesque scenery, and rich history make it a must-visit destination for those seeking a tranquil escape or a glimpse into Boston's past.

Horrible owners make there captain have a hard time I will never work for them again and it is not because of my captain
Not the exact location, but in the general location. The exact location was over about a square block area. This is placed here to prevent pedestrians from walking in the street. Still a very historical area.

Visiting the Boston Common on a rainy, cold, and dreary Sunday revealed a different but equally enchanting side of this iconic city park. Despite the weather, the Common's charm remained undiminished. The rain-kissed trees and misty pathways created a serene ambiance, making it a unique and immersive experience.

The park's historical significance and lush greenery served as a backdrop for the city's past and present to coalesce. We strolled along the meandering paths, discovering historical monuments and appreciating the thoughtful landscape design.

The picturesque Frog Pond, although quiet on a rainy day, added a touch of tranquility to the bustling city surroundings. We watched as raindrops created ripples on its surface, reflecting the timeless beauty of the city's oldest public park.

The park's accessibility and central location made it a gathering spot for locals and visitors alike, even on a dreary day. Families, friends, and even solo travelers found respite within its bounds, enjoying moments of solitude or camaraderie amidst nature's elements.

While we couldn't experience the Common in its usual vibrant splendor, the rain-soaked visit offered a different, almost magical perspective. It reminded us that every day, regardless of weather, has its own allure in the heart of Boston. The Boston Common is indeed a cherished jewel in the city's crown, welcoming all with its rich history, serene landscapes, and enduring charm.
This site doesn't get more complicated than some bricks in the sidewalk. Unless you've done some reading and research about the event (FIVE PATRIOTS WERE SHOT IN BROAD DAYLIGHT... ), this visit will probably not be particularly meaningful.
It seems like a site as significant as the Boston Massacre should have some kind of monument and not just this marker on the ground. We walked right past it and had to go back. I was a bit disappointed that there wasn't even some informational plaques.
It is located along the Liberty Trail so you will pass by. You could miss it if you didn’t know it was there. You can learn more about the Boston Massacre across the street at Faneuil Hall.

A perfect place for morning jobs and evening strolls! I went there towards the end of fall and the trees were beautiful, all of the differently coloured. The pond is a perfect place to sit around and watch the ducks, you can even feed the ducks if you are into it. Suitable to take your toddler for a stroll, hang out with a bunch of friends, have summer picnics or even peaceful dates. Totally recommended.
Very nice setting.

I love Chinatown Boston, It’s small but mighty! Multiple bakeries with good quality breads, many restaurants and my favorite beauty story for Korean face mask! The gate is nice for pictures and it’s not too crowded even though it is at times when groups spot by for pictures.

As a photographer, I always recommend the Chinatown area of Boston to my clients. The combination of traditional and modern architecture, vibrant street art, and cultural landmarks make this area an ideal location for capturing the essence of the city. Chinatown Gate is just one of the many stunning backdrops you'll find here.
COVID time in the park, just remembered. I enjoy visit this place.

Working historic fish pier..some of the seafood you eat are unloaded right here..look out over the harbor to see Logan Airport and if lucky enough you might see USS Constitution sail by with all its majesty for those HISTORY buffs..
They have a parking area on the entrance that makes a lot of places a walkable distance. Cool spot to see how Boston fish market works.

Not that impressed. Disclosure: I did not walk the whole thing but I walked from Lewis Warf past the aquarium all the way to the Boston Harbor Hotel at Rowes Warf. I belive it continues past that.

Walked literally as close to the waterfront as I could. Lots of starts and stops parking lots a few marinas and not so scenic views. I was thinking it would be much more of a fully connected strech.. I think if you walk one block or so away from the water along the street it may be a little better.

Not terrible but I think k a city as picturesque as Boston could do better with this. At least it's free !
There are not enough adjectives for me to describe this park. It was so beautiful, breathtaking stunning. I had no plans to even go through the park, but on my walking path it had me I got lost in there for easily an hour. It’s amazing how it can be right in the middle of the city and cut everything out. It is so meticulously maintained. every plant is so beautiful. Every tree is so properly pruned. If you’re looking for an escape, I would highly recommend walking through the park. It is so peaceful a great spot for a picnic afternoon lunch
It was an interesting site to see.
You can spend all day here. Enjoy the sunshine and relaxing by the water. Love the sunset here 😍😍

WOW 😲! I remember noticing it when I bought my daughter to the Boston Children's Museum years ago but I didn't have a chance to explore it. It has two listings on Google Maps. I walked from New England Aquarium to Seaport BLVD. What a great 👍 time I had! I walked by a wedding 💒 and a Irish Navel patrol boat, the James Joyce. I was asked multiple times to take people's, pictures with their 📱 cellphones. Great views of Boston's waterfront! I want to bring my kids!
I recommend this trail/walk!
Beautiful area, right in fron of the first English leader ruled and later became the Old State House.

What a great gateway to Boston's Chinatown. Just a wonderful well kept symbolic gateway to begin your time in the area. There are tons of restaurants in a few block radius. Visiting with my cousin who lived and worked in China for a few years. He commented on how it smelled just like he remembered from China. While there the Chinatown Business Association was putting on a traditional storytelling concert which was very cool to hear. There we're some older Chinese Ladies, sitting at the Arch playing some sort-of cards which was fun to watch.

We were in town for a small getaway from CT for the weekend.
Never been to Chinatown prior. Let me say, it's different than NYC canal st Chinatown.
Very much controlled, cleaner, and it made much more logical tradition wise and heritage wise.
The Chinatown gate is a amazing feature and represents a great story.
Definitely worth checking out.

The park is very nice and from what I could see it was great for kids. Coming out of it you'll see the state house however the establishment was closed on the day I went which was kind of a bummer because it looked really interesting. Unfortunately, the face of the building was obscured by scaffolding but we could at least see the golden dome. The mural of the African American troops and the revolutionary war facing the building was very striking and quite moving. The artist was able to capture the poignant expressions on the faces of the soldiers which were a mix of resolve, resignation, courage, and strength.

Pretty view. You can walk in any direction and see good views. This walk stretches to Boston fan pier. Many little spots to sit while on the walk. Also, multiple river facing restaurants and good music to keep you entertained.
Always a fan of the General over the many years in the evening with the lights of the city and sometimes the Moon in the background.
Really nice walk along the harbor even on an overcast day. You get a nice view of the water and the city. It’s right by the aquarium which had seals right outside for you to see without having to pay for a ticket. We parked in the deck and walked 1/2 a mile to Quincy Market as well.
Captain Ahab of Ahab's Adventures adding another Washington statue to his photo collection. The fact that you can enjoy this one from so many great sitting spots in the park is a huge bonus!
We walked around the Boston Public Gardens enjoying the crisp air, birds and beautiful statues. Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall the Gardens are always a wonderful place. To me it is such a gift to have green space in the middle of a thriving city.
I got this added onto Google. Nice to see it here.
This was probably my most favorite historical site in the entire city. I walked over from across the street and happened onto a tour group. The guide was friendly and entertaining, and also very knowledgeable and informative on the history of the site. I enjoyed it so much that I actually regret not getting a ticket inside to see the rest of the museum building inside. Definitely going to come back and get a ticket to look inside.
Love Hamilton
Hidden Statue Gem of Boston.
A rare statue of a real-life, named, historical woman.
Just check out the pictures on the Google Reviews. What you see is what you get, as this is certainly something interesting to stop by for a moment, but not a destination in of itself. If you are walking the Boston Commons, definitely route you way past this, grab a quick picture, and keep walking.
As a kid in the Caribbean he wished for a war, he knew that he was poor, he knew it was the only way to rise up.
Very beautiful and calm place to spend a Evening . I would love to go there again. They have so many restaurants around that place, they also have boat rental and Duck boat & bus which shows you around the city and also goes to water and it costs 42 bucks per person. They also have aquarium you can visit.
Check this location out on your walk through the commons!
Peace Anne.
it's another amazing statue in the heart of boston

The most interesting thing we experienced around the Waterfront was the Harbour Walk. This is a nice walking path along a wooden-planked deck which winds its way around the harbour and its waterfront buildings.

The views of the sea from the Harbour Walk area were very nice and we also liked seeing the autumn colours of the trees which were changing near some of the buildings. Plenty of boats settling in for the winter and few other people on the walking path at the time of our morning visit, making this a rather peaceful place to spend a bit of time.

In the end, we liked the harbour walk and would seek to walk its path again during future trips to Boston.

Nice statue, amoungst many other not able people
That's where I took a photo of 45 Beacon Street near this fountain.
