First of all, it was a very nice presentation for a sushi takeout. I was speechless with the plating. I ordered a 48 pcs combo and asked the chef to choose a few specialties. We were a group of 7 adults and 3 kids. It was just enough. Very affordable sushi place for the quality you get. Nice service on the phone. I would recommend this place if you're looking for a sushi night to impress your guests.

We ordered a nice platter to share and the sushi were so good! The sashimis were fresh and the sushi rolls were very tasty! Service very friendly too! One of my fav sushi spots in town!
Beautiful presentation and the sushis did not disappoint! They have a variety of sushi and sashimi selection, all were super fresh. I recommend for lunch/dinners in big groups.

Got here at 645pm on January 23rd on a Tuesday and it was closed. The posting at the door says it is supposed to be open. I came here for nothing.
Ordered super last minute on NYE for take out for my son & I. It was first time trying this place out. Everything was super fresh and absolutely delicious. Price & quality was perfect. Would highly recommend! For lunch, dinner or parties. My friend who referred me said they make beautiful platters !

A true hidden gem among Indian eateries. Their extensive menu offers excellent dishes, but the real standout is their expertise in Gujarati cuisine. The flavors are authentic and don’t resemble typical restaurant fare; it’s akin to enjoying a homemade meal that’s simply too good to miss.

Rarely me and my other family members become unanimous in our assessment of food. This time we were: awful. We were prescribed their paneer karai masala as being really good. Well, 3 pieces of paneer in a dish worth 10 dollars and tasting really bad. The malai kofta was good; the gravy being very creamy. We had a thali. The chole was okayish. But the puri that came with the thali was, again, awful. We are used to having those fluffy and beautiful puris in these restaurants. But what came was pitiful excuse of puri. They even couldn’t make the golab jamun right. You need to be really talented to turn golab jamun bad. But they did. Masali tea rescued a little, can be given 6/10. They’re our neighbours. It breaks my heart to leave such a harsh review, but I am being completely honest.
The food was AMAZING! Super tasty. Vada pav 100/10. Sev puri and Pav bhaji were 10/10. We liked the chai too. The restaurant could improve the ambience, Service was very good.

Yesss great sushi!! I’ve continually been disappointed with sushi in Montreal :( but this place is awesome, fish is fresh and rice is perfect, not densely packed like some other places. Reasonable prices and friendly service, looking forward to coming here again
Surprised at mixed reviews here, was quite impressed with this unassuming place.
Have to look out for fresh vs smoked salmon on the menu, but overall tasted very nice, generous portions, good plating and variety. They have 4 seats for eat-in, which are great for a quick bite.

Sushi were fresh and tasty, but I found that Nigiri were too small.
Stopped by for a take out lunch the other day. Sushi 🍣 was awesome and made fresh while i waited. Staff was super helpful. My new go to place in the area✅
I have visited this place with my family two days back. Firstly i was so afraid as I had bad experience of Indian food last day at another restaurant. I have ordered different items and all were delicious and affordable with good quality and quantity. I must recommend this place if you visit Montreal for first time and wanna have authentic Indian taste.
The platters were beautifully plated. Not only were they a nice presentation (for my mama’s bday) but each piece of sushi tasted fresh and good! Highly recommend them whether it is for a simple take out night or a fancy take out night!

A very cozy little sushi shop , food is great & tasty , plates and bowls are super cute! Love the unique litchi drink it is one of the kind~~ service is very good as well . I will go again with more friends !

Amazing service and the food was authentic and so delicious and high value. The only thing I would change is that I’m gluten sensitive. Most places rice is a safe bet. Here, for some reason it seems they mixed noodles into the rice?

Ordered delivery. The miso soup didn't seem to have any miso in it, only dashi broth, the kamakazi rolls had mystery white fish substituted for salmon or tuna, and some of the avocado was hard and rubbery. In general, the rolls were not very well-made and cheaped out on ingredients.

I ordered poutine here it was 4.5/5. The poutine was loaded with a bunch of flavours and textures. However, my “Spicy Poutine” was not spicy at all! Nice restaurant overall, you get to enjoy your food with amazing view of the park near it.
Decent place for a Shawarma sandwich! I had a Chicken Sandwich with/ Potatoes and a Drink. The flavours were on point. The components of my sandwich were fresh. The potatoes were surprisingly flavourful and light. My issue is I was up-saled for the Saj bread which wasn't a great experience. The bread wrapping had a pothole spilling some content to the bottom. I'd go for the Pita Bread next time. 3/5!
A homie place. Food is a delight, as much as the owners heart. We were 10 guests and we had plenty of food, tastes are authentic. It's been in my address book for a while now. Never did they disappoint, as well good on delivery.
amazing food and service. Lamb and chicken was tender and flavourful. Large portion sizes. the Chef's laugh was so wonderfully joyous. The mint tea and sweets instantly transport you to Morocco. To top it off the chef was from Chefchaouen, one of my favourite places in the world. definitely a Montreal must!

The middle eastern food here is amazing! Very authentic kebabs and very friendly staff. The portion size is very good and pricing is reasonable. Would totally recommend! We came here as a group of 8 and even though the cook was alone, the food arrived fast and well cooked. Don't expect a fancy table, but enjoy the delicious food!
A very traditional Greek restaurant. We were there with family and we had a wonderful time. Food was very good and the waiter was super nice and helpful. Sorry to see it is closing after 30+ years in business. If you get a chance before they close, do so!

The drink itself was fine.Although it was quite refreshing ,the costumer service was horrible. It took us 15 minutes to order 2 drinks because nobody understood what we were saying and we had to repeat ourselves multiple times. Not only were the drinks very expensive but the lady making them was not wearing any gloves when she she put her finger in my drink.
My dad used to eat there in 1989. We decided to go together so we could bring memories back and so he could share them with me. Im SO glad we shared this special moment at this AMAZING restaurant ! The owner is amazing and the staff is also always smiling. Im young and dont have the most experience, but of my 26 years of living, this was the best food I ever ate ! The tea was amazing and the couscous royal was delicious. Don’t question it. Just go

It looks very old and smells old, like your grandma's house. By lunch time, the place was empty and the old lady seemed to be serving and cooking all by herself. (And she's really nice)

Always fresh, tasty, and very good price compare to other sushi on the area.
This is now my new favorite restaurant in Montreal. Probably its best feature is the talented and gracious chef/host. The food was amazing, with generous portions lovingly presented. The lamb tender & succulent, the Pastilla classic and delicious, and even the "sides" like couscous with braised veggies, superb. You could see that the chef's pride as he presented each course, you'll want to shout BRAVO at the end!

WOW! Amazing food; generous portions; great prices - high quality ingredients - the meats are tasty and tender; all of salads taste homemade and fresh. The hummus is so smooth and the best I've ever tasted- and the garlic sauce is incredible! The service is great too - 10/10 highly recommend !

A couscous order here, priced around $30 CAD, is more than sufficient for two dinners, especially the house special Tarot which included Merguez sausage links and a lamb shank, along with a full bowl of broth and vegetables that the meats were stewed in.

We ordered 2 wraps, one veg and one chicken…honestly, this was the first time I doubt a wrap to be taste like this. No taste at all, no pickles, no perfect sauces, nothing..they just wrap the chicken pieces and falafel balls in the wraps with a few lettuce and tomatoes, that’s it.. thankfully didn’t try much from this place..

Pad sew from thai express is better than Panda. First and probably last time. Noodle texture is weird (probably over cooked).
This was the only poutine I had during my 3 days in Montreal, and it was incredible. Had their Magic Poutine (chicken). Fantastic twist on traditional poutine. Server behind the counter recommended it, and I'm so glad he did.
The food is good but more than half the menu is “out of stock” when we went at dinner time on a Saturday. Apparently you have to order in advance for the majority of items which was not mentioned anywhere in the menu (same one on google reviews). It took a while for the waiter to take our order and the wait time for the food was on the longer side. The floors were also sticky and I had to clean the bottom of my shoes after.

I went to celebrate my birthday because I knew I wasn't going to be disappointed, and I wasn't! Rodos has been in business for such a long time for good reason. The service is excellent, the food is authentic, and the ambience couldn't be beat. My favourite place for an authentic Greek meal in Montreal, by far.
Very reasonable pricing! Taste better than Thai Express. They give amazing portions and I can see their kitchen from the counter. It looks really clean. Will come back to try other dishes.
I am so glad we chose this restaurant for a relaxing family lunch. The owner Noureddine was kind and welcoming. We enjoyed a large, filling meal with cucumber & tomato salad, assorted olives, pastilla au poule, vegetable soup, lamb tagine, kofta meatballs, couscous, chicken over rice, and then topped it off with tea, coffee & dates. Wow! Each dish was better than the last. All the meat was tender, the vegetables were fresh & well-cooked, and everything was seasoned perfectly. The environment is warm and relaxed. I wish we lived in the area so we could come again and again.
Not impressed with the food quality at this Basha location. Rice and potatoes wasn’t fresh and smelled bad. If you go end of the day, they will give you rice and potatoes from the back freeze. Suggestion, Don’t take a food from back freeze. Only take what’s available in the front.

Morena restaurant serve unique pilipino dish, I ordered balbacua, dinuguan, crispy pata was delicious and so tasty my daughter really love her dinuguan and crispy pata was finger licking my wife really love it, I met chef Dominic he’s friendly and start talking and the server was friendly aswelll, I highly recommend this restaurant to my family and friends, we’ll be back again everytime we come to Montreal👍🏽
Beef shawarma had a good taste,but I do not like my side dishes, the fried potatoes and macaroni salad! The fried potatoes were a little bit uncooked and row, and the macaroni salad was sweet!
I have been wanting couscous for the past couple of days so after a Google search, we settled on Au Tarot. It was quiet, the owner was really nice, friendly and welcoming.
My husband and I ordered the lamb couscous and it was amazing.
The portions are generous and we even took the leftover home. The owner added a little more couscous for us to take home.

I recently visited this amazing Greek restaurant and I was pleasantly surprised. The service was friendly and efficient, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. The bread they served us was warm and fresh, while the ingredients were top-notch. My wife and I both enjoyed our meal immensely.

Hey, foodies! Listen up because I've got the inside scoop on Basha Restaurant. Let me tell you, their portions are HUGE - I swear I needed a wheelbarrow to roll myself out of there. But you know what? It was worth it because the prices are totally reasonable. I mean, who doesn't love getting their fill without breaking the bank? Trust me, you won't regret checking out this spot.

Good food, price is cheap and serving is pretty big. The imperial rolls were my favorite.
I ordered the "LOVE" platter through Uber Eats, which includes rice, chicken BBQ, pork BBQ, fish fillet, lechon kawali, shrimps, siomai, lumpia and some veggies. The platter is big enough to feed three people. The order arrived within the estimated time. Very nice presentation and everything was delicious. One thing though, according to the platter's description, there was supposed to be calamari included and not fish fillet. So if not having calamari is a deal-breaker for you, I would suggest contacting the restaurant first... Else, I totally recommend 👍
Would recommend this place to anyone who’s a food enthusiast and a fan of Filipino cuisine. No other restaurant near Plamondon metro would make you feel like you’re family when you eat in there. The chef was friendly and asking me if the food i ordered was good. The dish they serve in this place reminds me of home-cooking as if the food was prepared by your own mom. The only downside is that the food took quite long for it to be served but it was understandable since multiple online orders were being prepared, the kitchen was small and there were not that many people working in there. Overall, i’m still surprised that the chefs served quality food even in the heat of many orders coming through and the small kitchen they cook in. Would definitely come back and eat there again.

Worst Pad Thai ever. It’s like my grandma opened a Canada Living Cooks magazine and tried to make it for the first time. The General Tso’s chicken was actually sweet and sour chicken disguised as Tso’s chicken. And the spring rolls? They were more like “Winter why even bother” rolls with sprinkles of something secret and funky from the toilet. All in all a horrendous meal i walked away from. Thanks for ruining our Wednesday.

Never have this amazing sushi experience in town. The rolls are huges, well balance with just enough rice, fish and shrimp are generously added. The ingredients are so fresh. Five stars quality but at a low budget. This small place is a new discovery for me and definitely my place to go for sushi craving.

I have been tried numbers of sushi in MTL. From my points of view, this store is quite nice, not extremely good but it is fine! The price is OK.
I don’t understand where the negative reviews are coming from … it’s my first time ordering on SkipTheDishes ordered the deep fried tofu pad thai ..HUGE portion,packing with delicious taste I mean just look at the color of the noodles.. they didn’t skimp out on sauce/flavour, and less pricey than their competitors. (compared to thai express , maison thai, Mae sri etc)

I got myself a large beef shawarma and made it a trio for 3.99$ extra and I have to say that it was well priced.The beef shawarma had tons of flavour and was very filling. It was everything you would expect of a shawarma: delicious, savory and well priced. However, I have to say that the garlic potatoes I got in my trio were not what I thought they would be. They tasted fine, but not top tier. I would suggest getting maybe some fries instead. But overall, I would one hundred percent come back to this restaurant and I totally recommend you come check it out. This place is probably one of the best shawarma places in town.

Morena is without a doubt the best pure Filipino restaurant in Montreal. I know food, I have lived all ober the world and my father is a chef :)
Their Bulalo, Sizzling Sisig, Crispy Pata, Lumpia, Fried Chicken, Spaghetti and Palabok were amazing. Their Lover's Platter is great for any occasion, especially for get togethers. Dominic and his staff were professional, friendly, welcoming and funny. They followed all covid protocols.

We ordered today for pickup for the first time. Rolls are big and tasty, it’s fresh and prices are super good for the neighborhood. Will definitely order again on our next sushi craving night!

I have ordered from this location many times and always at the same times, about 1pm and or 8pm. Never really had a problem with anything except the delivery time is always about 45 minutes. This evening I called to place and order, the man answers as if I had done the world a great injustice by disturbing him and when I ask if I can place an order for delivery he simply says "no" and hung up on me...
If you're hungry and want to pay for over priced garlic potatoes but don't want them to be delivered too quickly so that they are cold when you get them and deal very rude men that don't understand French or English when placing and order (if you get that far into the conversation with them) then this is the best option for you!

You need to come here!! I’ve had so many disappointments with sushi restaurants that aren’t high end so I didn’t expect much from here. I was so wrong! Their ingredients are fresh, flavourful and their sushi combinations are creative! The Nagano, Bonsa and salmon maki tartare are a MUST. Their crab also has a good taste unlike many restaurants that have tasteless crab. I’m really happy I tried this place! It’ll be my only go to for delicious and affordable sushi from now on!

This place deserves 5 stars if you compare it to closest alternative, which is Thai Express. The prices are lower than Thai Express, with much better ingredient quality. The owner was friendly and service was fast. Lots of veggies in the stir fry. I love that they use real plates and silverware for dining in instead of wasteful styrofoam and plastic like Thai Express. Very clean restaurant. Great option for fast-casual dining on Mont-Royal!

The place is small but the staff is very friendly and helpful. Food came quickly after we ordered and was great. Prices were good compared to other sushi places, especially if you take some of the chef's choices. You can also get 5 free makis if you eat there and order for more than 30$
