Delivery was on time and great BUT the food !! Chicken was overcooked and dry. Slightly warm so was not freshly cooked and for delivery in 14 mins I doubt it was. Coleslaw like soup and nothing like the web photos and expiry date one day away !! Never again. KFC

I have never seen a more filthy KFC restaurant ever.
"Every" table in the dinning area and floor were covered with previous customers rubbish and left over food. The reason for the rubbish being scattered everywhere was cause every garbage bin was full and over flowing inside and out side the premises. The toilets were disgusting and hadn't been cleaned in who knows how long. I ask a staff member could I speak to the manager, and she was not interested in my complaint .

many times where me and my family have gone through drive through we have been missing things, and usually they are respectful about it and let us go in to get it or offer a refund, but this time we were missing a burger (after already having to be in waiting bay for a couple of minutes) and they start it off not with a refund offer or something akin to that but rather that on their system they had “given us the food” and only offered a refund when my mother said she was going to go to upper management about the issue. this isn’t respectful or appropriate handling of this situation and if i pulled at my work my head would be on a stick. very disappointed.

I don’t think I’ve ever been to this kfc and they haven’t forgotten something in my order.
On this occasion, it was the maxi popcorn chicken and all the sauces for our 20 nuggets.

Restaurant was filthy, not even at peak time. Chips were cold and soggy. Management need to take a look around and ensure restaurant is more inviting

Came home with wrong chicken pieces. Disgusted to see how small the chicken pieces have shrunk. Most pieces were burnt and dry. It’s a shame that KFC has dropped its standards. Think twice before visiting KFC from now unless this is an issue in Menai.

Would give this a 0 star review if I could, asked for 2 popcorn chicken go buckets, order was put in wrong as popcorn chicken, drove 15 min home, realised they had given us 2 reg chips on popcorn chicken boxes.
Drove back was told that they have already done that multiple times today, no sorry, no refund for the difference in order cost. P.s. was told the frozen machine was not working, but saw employees drinking them. Terrible service

By far the best chips and salads in Menai. The schnitzels burgers, fish cocktails and chickens nuggets are great too. Love the muffins, they are always fresh. Don't waste your money anywhere else.

Friendly staff and the kebabs are fairly priced and are always hot, fresh and delicious with a very generous amount of meat on them. Highly recommended and if you like onion on your kebab, ask for it to be cooked - you'll thank me later.

I'm not accustomed to writing reviews, but my experience at Menai Charcoal Chicken was disappointing, prompting me to provide feedback along with an attached photo. Despite paying a grand total of $49.95, the meal consisted of dry chicken and small portions. Unfortunately, the quality of the food fell short of the usual standards expected of Lebanese cuisine. While I wouldn't mind paying higher prices for good quality food, the pricing here seems extortionate given the subpar experience.

Haven't had a chance to try Metro Grill since it changed hands, and I was pleasantly surprised. We got family roast chook meal plus a couple of chicken tenders as a treat, and it fed 5 adults and 2 kids with loads to spare. The chicken was perfect, chips are outstanding, and the meal comes with old school gravy! I've died and gone back to 1997, fat chips and gravy is the best! The whole family agree that this has become our new regular.

Always great food and coffee, quiet area and great service

Unfortunately I can’t give a zero for this branch. We love KFC food and regularly order however more than 70% of our orders from this location are incorrect or incomplete with now over 20 complaints over the past year. No accountability is taken when raising this with the duty managers with the delivery drivers are always blamed which may be the cause however we are not purchasing this from your delivery partner. I would also like to note that your delivery drivers do not ever knock on the door making checking of the order at the time of delivery impossible. This restaurant has a systemic problem with the accuracy of orders and when requests are made for remediation we are only ever offered a refund and no other option, which does not feed my family on that occasion. On every occasion of complaint we are refused a redelivery of our ordered meal which is unacceptable. We were told by the manager today after receiving only half our meal of chicken pieces and 3 half empty chips that this order was packed personally by the manger and after raising concerns that the driver may have eaten part of the order, the manager agreed that this is likely the case which is a disgusting thought and likely breaches NSW health regulations. On a second call to try to resolve this one of your team members had the audacity to comment “you do this every week” … seriously????? Please ask your team why we need to do this every week??? We really don’t need or want to waste our time complaining and just ask that we simply get what we have ordered. We even don’t care about the cold delivery of the food as we have the oven ready to heat the food up on delivery. This comment has now led me to believe that we may be being deliberately targeted from the previous service failures and complaints with your business. Please ask the regional manger or general manager to contact me within the next 48 hours to discuss this before I escalate my concerns with your so called ‘Restaurant’ to Fair trading.

Large portions, wasn't too much of a fan of their chips, they weren't too crunchy but the schnitzel burger and the battered fish were pretty good.

The lady behind the counter was so rude I asked about adding some bread to my order ended up walking out as her response made me feel like I had done something seriously wrong I have been a customer in this shop for many years absolutely appalled I then called to ask for the manager and the same lady hung up on me ....
that kind of customer service would....
turn anybody off their food and don't ask any questions she does not have time for anybody not even customers even know the shops empty maybe three customers the whole time I was sitting in my car writing this.

I never asked for free bread I asked how much the bag was then said never mind it's too much bread I might just upsize my meal don't worry about the large salad and went to change the order before she had put it through or started.. this lady being the trainee the other lady telling me she is training this lady who we did not ask for help decides to rudely interrupt with a very negative attitude and tone of voice telling me that they do not break up the bread and I must pay for it I never had any intentions of not paying for it and unless I asked you the question how am I meant to know if they break up the bread !?

I then apologise to the lady doing the training who interrupted and explain to her that the toning her voice was making me nervous and that the lady serving me was doing a fantastic job as I wasn't 100% sure what I wanted to order she then replied we haven't got time for these shenanigans in which I was shocked offended and said never mind I don't want anything and walked out so I'm also not sure where racist comes into it but I didn't think it's fair you call me racist when I have been unfairly treated falsely accused and embarrassed and hungry not to mention I had two other people one of them being a kid waiting on food
As for your new trainees she is wonderful polite and well-spoken maybe the trainer should take a lesson from the trainee on how to be polite .
And I apologise for not using names as the trainer refuse to give them to me over the phone!
And an apology for the new trainer I did not mean to upset her but if somebody is micro managing you and make sure you feel uncomfortable tell them to take a step back as i did !

Best chicken shop in the Sutherland shire, I recommend going to, very nice salads Good customer service I’ve ever had, well done to the owners an amazing team they have for customers to feel blessed

It's a good place for pide. We had spinach and feta pide. The portion size is good and filling.

Lovely coffee and cake! We had the lemon muffin, very nice. Friendly staff and fast service.👍

The once outstanding quality hasn’t survived the change of management. Coffee quality has declined to OK. Biscuits served are stale. Way too much chocolate in the mocha. Fried fish is saturated in oil. They get orders wrong.
The chicken, burgers and salads are still good.
Eating with smokers and car exhaust has always been a downside.

Food Mania is our go-to kebab shop. The kebabs and pides are delicious, you always get a huge serving of chips and the owners are lovely, especially to children!

I ordered a grilled chicken breast burger but got a chicken snitzel burger instead. I didn’t want snitzel i wanted what i paid for. Also the chips were dry and tasted like the oil hadn’t been changed for a long time. Time to find a better take away.

Our favourite takeaway food by far! Best food and the nicest owners. They even cater for parties and they’re always a crowd favourite!

Ordered takeaway wraps, falafel and a lamb one with chips on the side.
The lamb was the winner, perfectly cooked. Chips were well seasoned but the falafel wrap was lacking in flavour and slightly too moist with the sauce. Other than that, lovely service and ample dine in space!

Ordered a MEGA family deal which is around 3 chickens, 2 large chips and heaps of other extras for a family gathering. $95 was excellent value for money and the food was genuinely really nice. The people that served me were very kind as well I will definitely be coming back.

Ordered a chicken burger meal deal for $16, then asked for a chilli sauce on the burger and told that’s an extra dollar. So $17 later I received the burger that was %80 lettuce with a small portion of chicken. Not a good first experience.

So about 2 years ago, Me and my mother went to this kebab shop and they got our order all messed up. My mother questioned them and the man who was working at the cashier got extremely angry and started yelling at my mother, my mother was very polite the entire time. We then went to get something else to eat and we sat down. He then yelled at me to come over and said me and my mother were banned for life.
Never ever come to this shop ever. The hygiene is poor and did you know one of the machines caught fire and they had to evacuate the entire food court?. The order wait times are also horrible and long.

The lady who served me was lovely and it seems to be a kind family business. We caught the beginning of a rush and wait was a little long but acceptable. Unfortunately from there the experience wasn't great. I had a falafel roll. The first bite had a long strand of hair pulling out from the wrap which was offputting . Putting that aside, the falafel wasn't great and the kebab was too mushy and had no texture. Good service but wouldn't go back due to poor quality.

Friendly and great service. The shop is clean and vibrant. My wife and I had doner kebabs and it was packed with flavours. The ingredients were fresh. The fries were crunchy outside and soft inside and lightly coated with chicken salts. Highly recommended and value for money.
