Outstanding dance school! My twin nieces attend and absolutely love it!
This is a wonderful dance school! I have experienced nothing but kindness from the directors and instructors. My daughter is slow to warm up and their patience really helped her get comfortable in class.
From what I have seen, the staff is very caring and accommodating. My daughter missed a class and there was no issue with arranging a make up class for her. She was able to take a different class which she enjoyed so much we will be considering signing up for that as well as continuing her current dance class when the new semester starts.
The end of the semester recital was beautiful 🩷

Nice studio and location w/street parking, staff at front desk was efficient, teachers were very good and taught us well. I enjoyed the class and learned basic salsa.
We love Dance Matters NYC! We did our trial class for the tiny tots program and loved it so much that we decided to enroll her right away. The staff and the teachers are great.Always welcoming and ready to answer any questions.We hope to continue for many years to come 😊
I learn about Dance Matters NYC thru Facebook.. since my child would like to try ballet. I was happy because my child enjoyed and having so much fun. The staff are great and the studio is clean and organized.. the ballet teacher is very accommodating and amazing with the students.. my child was happy and always looking forward for her Saturday ballet class..
My toddler is having so much fun! Ms. Giorgia is a great instructor. The staff are friendly and the studio is very clean.
SIQ is a great place to learn Salsa. I just joined my second cycle. First, I had Sasha ( Sat 11am). She is great for beginners. She will slow it down for you. Now I am taking Sunday 11am ( beginners) with Tyrone. He is a great teacher. Take beginners few cycles before you move to the next level. They do have Salsa socials near by bars on 2nd & last Sunday of the month. I went to a few. Great way to try your moves. Don't be be intimidated. Some of them are really good. I am sure they started just like us beginners.
Can I just say how much my daughter looks forward every week for her class. She is very shy, but has come out of her shell very much. She openly engages with the other students and the teacher. The teachers are so patient and kind with them, as well as the staff. They have all been amazing

She seems to enjoy the class and is excited to go each week; it has been challenging for her to understand she is not dancing on tippy toes yet that she has to do all of these things first. The teacher is very patient and has a wonderful rapport with the little ones and keeps them engaged. The space is clean, welcoming, friendly staff and very responsive.

I brought my daughter here but unfortunately she ended up sick for a while then they mentioned that even though she missed 7 classes she will be able to make them up but then when I stated I wanted to take advantage of the opportunity for my daughter to make up her classes the receptionist said that the owner Nicole said she can not make up the classes. Please be aware of this place and make sure your child does not miss any days. Also the class is in a tiny basement with no windows and usually they never start on time and end earlier than expected. If your looking for a great dance school for your child please stay away from here.
Studio E is amazing! My niece loves it. The instructors are skilled and supportive, helping her improve her dancing and confidence. The atmosphere is positive, making it a great place for kids to learn and grow. Highly recommended!
Horrible Place. They take the kids to a small basement with no ventilation or water and charge way too much. Please stay away from this business if you’re looking for a great experience. STAY AWAY!
Such a great vibe! The tall Russian girl , Alex is literally the best thing about this place. Best instructor ever! Find her and take privates with her!
Lovely experience. Highly recommend. Can go with or without a partner and they are very respectful and flexible about the mix. Sasha is an excellent and attentive Instructor.
My four year old started ballet classes here and she loves it. From the very first class she was really comfortable with her teacher and insists on going back everyday. The place is clean and spacious and the front desk staff are really friendly.
I had a great time learning salsa. I'll be joining for more cycles for sure. The instructor was really pleasant and so was the receptionist. The atmosphere and the people were really positive too.

Registered my three year old daughter and she loved it from the first moment! She is usually very shy and won’t leave my side but it surprised me how she went into her class and forgot about me😅. She has so much fun and enjoys every moment. The staff is so welcoming and helpful with any information you need. I’m so happy I found this place for my daughter to learn and have fun. Now we both look forward for Mondays to go to dance matters✨.
I've been coming to this studio for over two years. It's a friendly, communal, and humble environment, with a great structured curriculum for those looking to learn salsa and bachata. It's also quite affordable as far as dance classes go, being more wallet-friendly lets you invest more in your dance journey. The schedule is also conducive for folks who work 9-to-5s.
This place offers a variety of arts to teach, such as dances of all kinds, drawing, piano, and much more. As a student here, I really feel that the teachers take time to make sure I learned my dancing steps properly. I definitely recommend this place for learning!

My first time salsa lesson with Tyrone's instruction and explanation of "Salsa On Two" was a pleasurable experience. Tyrone breaks down the foot work which makes it easy to follow. The Same for "shines" pattern foot work. Partner work class with Tyrone was informative and fun, doing basic steps from hand hold position first followed by regular dance position. Anyone taking Tyrone's classes is blessed being his pupil. I highly recommend him.
Great school for toddlers and youngers! Our daughters are happy to learn ballet in a fun way!

We had great experiences with the teachers, but bad experience with the front desk who said she is the owner’s friend, poor communication skills, act like the biggest boss I ever seen, she didn’t hear when I was talking to my little ones about the shoes policy and jumped into our conversation and yelled at us made the whole experience unnecessary unpleasant and uncomfortable. Some updates, after emailed with the owner, things are getting better. The lady who yelled at us didn’t seem volunteering with the kids anymore which is a good sign.

We love Studio E! My daughter has taken pre-ballet, ballet, and tap with Studio E. We have been very happy with our experience. They’re very organized and thorough in all aspects of the classes and business side of things. Easy to sign up; they have shoes and leotards at the studio for purchase; awesome zoom meetings so we can see our dancers; thoughtful gifts for the dancers and even their moms and dads on Mother’s and Father’s Day; a relaxed, yet quick picture day; absolutely adorable and well-run recital with the cutest costumes I’ve ever seen! My daughter also did a week of ballet camp last year. She LOVED it!
Teachers are very nice and every student check temperature and use hand sanitizer before and after class! my daughter love it.
My daughter has been dancing with Studio E since she was 3 years old. She’s now 13 and it’s like a second home for her. This studio changed her life, it’s given her the skills and confidence to become a great dancer. She’s developed extremely close relationships with all of the instructors and team members that work there. Going there is always her favorite part of the day. Studio E is a gem, it’s a fun professional studio with top notch instructors and all levels of dance, for all ages.
Great place to learn ballet for girls. Great value and teachers there are really nice.

My daughter love this ballet school, the teachers are very nice and professional and we have a very good communication with them.
2020 was supposed to be the year that my 3 year old daughter would experience her first ballet program. Unfortunately due to the pandemic, options were limited. HOWEVER, thanks to Ms. Corina and Ms. Hanna they offered to do virtual ballet classes which we took this opportunity to give it a try and we couldn’t be happier with the decision!
Of course it’s not the same as being in the studio, but I’m always there supporting my daughter as she tries her best to follow along with her ballet teachers. Both teachers have excellent communication with the families and most of all, they are patient and kind with all of their ballerinas. As an educator, I understand the importance of being patient with kids other than my own, and both Hanna & Corina have shown these qualities and more in the 6 months that we’ve been doing their ballet program.

Only good things to say. The teachers are punctual, technical, knowledgeable, and so, so sweet to the kids. Great price. My daughter improved so much in ballet over the course of just a few months, and all virtually! Found them via FB and so glad I did. It all started with an "open house" and a tryout class. <3
Since pandemic my family has been remote. My 6 year old no longer had extracurricular activities. I was so happy to have found Queens School of Ballet. We, at first, took a trial class and instantly my 6 year old was full of joy and smiles. In the middle of the semester we added an extra ballet class and went to twice a week. They even had a virtual recital for the family to see. Miss Hanna has been amazing. She communicates timely and is full of smiles at every class. I am so glad we found QSBallet during these unprecedented times.

Great school. Teachers are professional and passionate about teaching. I have been learning at Flushing dance club for a few years and have introduced this place to my friends. Best thing about this place is that if you are willing to learn, the teachers/instructors are always there to help.

do not bring your children here. unprofessional teachers. they will treat your children with disrespect and bully them for not knowing how to dance.
希望各位家长慎重选择这家培训机构！没交钱你是爷交了钱他们是也爷 老师不专业用的大陆那套教育小孩 我家女儿回来说怕去学跳舞老师太凶！最后一次去说要元旦表演要补课 结果上课时间改了也没通知到位 女儿送去我就走了 结果也没人通知怎么回事 后来还是同学家长在那看到给我打电话去接的 那么冷的天没暖气女儿穿个舞蹈服在外面坐着等还好同学家长在陪着 我就不知道这里面这些所谓的老师干什么吃的！外面前台人也没有 还好小孩没生病要是出点什么事情直接告的你们关门信不信？这里是美国！没能力就别开培训班
Amazing dance studio with a great staff. My daughters have been going to Studio E for the past 5 years and love it. The teachers are creative and patient and I felt like it was a great way to teach them how to follow directions and work on their focus. They love to dance and this studio does an incredible job fostering their love and growth. Thank you Studio E!
