Great dance studio for all ages (from 3 years old) with amazing teachers in Latin, standard and smooth styles of ballroom dancing. Provides groups and private lessons for all levels from the beginners to professional dancers. Private lessons for weddings and other family events. Always warm and welcoming atmosphere with great organized seminars, shows, and annual competition for students.

Brooklyn Dancesport Club- The LA Edition is the dance studio I've been looking for during my whole dance career. It is THE gold star of ballroom dance studios with a huge, seamless, cushioned wood floor, lots of areas to stretch and warmup, an amazing sound system, lots of mirrors, and some of the best coaches in the US (and perhaps the world). Competitive dancers, social dancers, new dancers, intermediate dancers, whatever level you are, you've found your new dance home! The space is in a converted warehouse so when you dance there, it feels like you have infinite space and freedom to fill with your movement. This dance studio is created by dancers for dancers. Also there's a smaller room that can be rented out for private shoots, workshops, lectures by the hour, and the events don't have to be dance related (yoga, meditation, etc.). Parking is free and easy (so rare in LA!).

Diva is an amazing dance studio. My daughter has bonded with her teachers and peers. It brings us joy to watch her learn dance technique while having fun! At Diva your child is part of a family! There is no where else I would want my daughter to dance!

Couldn’t ask for a better school for my child. The teachers are caring and so talented. It’s truly a great place. I’m very happy with our decision. My son has learned so much. Not just about dancing and technique but rather about teamwork and dedication. He strives to do his best because his teachers create an environment of love and passion. They are for the kids and truly put their blood sweat and tears into helping the kids flourish. You can’t ask for more!

We had my daughter's 7th birthday at Bay Ridge Ballet this week and it exceeded our expectations! For a reasonable price, Ms. Patty took care of all decorations and made the space look magical for our daughter, including signage outside. She also took care of ordering and serving pizza. For two hours, Ms. Patty and her assistant kept 15 children ranging in age from 4-11 all entertained, laughing, playing and dancing! She made my daughter feel special throughout the party and made "hosting" a party easy for me as a parent. All I had to do was bring cupcakes! Thank you Bay Ridge Ballet! Highly Recommend!
Bay Ridge Ballet is amazing! This is our first year at BRB and I have been so pleased. My daughter was in a tumbling class for the first semester and she is now in a hip hop class for the second semester. We have loved BRB so much that I reached out to Patty about hosting my daughter's birthday party here. Let me tell you, the party was out of this world!!! The personalized details were simply amazing and made the party extra special. Patty and Allison were outstanding! They had so many activities planned and smoothly transitioned the girls from one activity to the next. They danced, they played with a parachute, they played dress-up, they completed a craft, there was a photo booth, a piñata, pizza, and more! Set-up and clean-up were included which was the icing on the cake for me. My daughter loved her ballerina birthday so much that she has now requested to try out a ballet class, which we are doing this week. We just love, love, love BRB and we will be sticking around for many more classes.
Dance Passion Studio is an exciting and excellent place to be! Conveniently located in a nice neighborhood, it is clean and safe(very importantin now days!). But the most important thing is the warm and welcome atmosphere that you find there from the moment you come in. Absolutely amazing coaches who put their heart ❤ into everything they do. My daughter is attending Dance Passion for almost 8 years and I am deeply grateful for the way my child enjoys her experience there! Love Dance Passion and everything about it 💕

We've tried a few dance studios in the neighborhood, but Bay Ridge Ballet is by far our favorite. My kids have been students there for several years now. Ms. Patty is a great talent and teacher and her warmth and energy are infectious. All of the other teachers are highly qualified and professional too. We highly recommend BRB!
It's a lovely place. The the Maestro is pleasant and very patient. There is plenty of space for the kids to run around. I greatly recommend this studio.
One of the best small businesses in Brooklyn. If you are a parent and want your child to learn self confidence and determination the culture here will cultivate that. My daughters have grown up here and I could not think of a better place for them to spend their time.
Miss patty and her staff are amazing artists and teachers. I count myself extremely luck to have found this studio. We bounced around for a few years at other, bigger studios in Manhattan but no other place has taught my daughters more than BRB! EDIT: Going on six years here at Bay Ridge Ballet and both of my daughters still love it here and even with the pandemic Miss Patty put in place very stringent policies regarding COVID and was able to thrive. We feel so blessed to have found this school, it is a huge part of their lives.

We had a birthday party at the studio last month and it was a blast!! Our family has been part of the ballet school for over two years but this was the first birthday party we held there...it was a great success! The owner and party host, Miss Patty, is a talented, attentive and child-centered ballet teacher who is able to mix knowledge and great technical skill with deft handling of young (and older!) children. The decorations and party assistants helped make the day feel so festive, and the two-hour event ran smoothly and seamlessly between activities. Definitely recommend. You know it’s a great party when the participants say they don’t want it to end. 😊

My husband and I wanted to learn an anniversary dance on our 10th wedding anniversary. We did not know how to dance so we signed up with Dance Zone USA studio and did not regret our decision! Their instructors helped us and created a beautiful dance!

I started my daughter at Bay Ridge Ballet since she became interested in dance. It's different from other ballet/dance schools in that it focuses on the art of ballet, rather than competition like every other dance school out there. Miss Patty really takes pride in what she does and it reflects in these kids! The shows they put on are like Broadway productions not like those lame, end of the year recitals at the other schools. My daughter has fun and shows a positive attitude. She has become very impressive to see!

Love , love Dance passion studio! My daughter is taking private lessons there.Groups lessons are available as well. Great experience for private Latin Dance lessons and contemporary dance. Amazing instructors, flexible and very friendly and good teaching techniques .Overall, would highly recommend this dance studio!
I've tried a few places in and around NYC and I have to say that hands down Brooklyn DanceSport has been the best instruction I've gotten. It only took a handful of lessons for me to see and feel a marked difference in my dancing and the best part is I feel like my coach is actually invested in me getting better. It's a bit of a trek if you live in the city—there's no denying that—but it's honestly worth every minute you spend in transit (just make sure you pack a good book for the train).
My brother and I attended this school from a young age, me starting when I was five, the staff was always nice to my brother and I. This is also pretty good exercise. It is generally a really nice school.
We have been with this studio for 5 years and the owner, staff, and choreographers are true professionals. Beyond Dance is a home away from home for our dancer. We can't say enough good things about the instruction, support, guidance, and opportunities that we have received since joining this studio.
Bay Ridge Ballet is an excellent ballet school. Ms. Patty is a caring, patient, and exceptional teacher with a team of teachers who are wonderful. My daughter loves Bay Ridge Ballet and has grown tremendously as a dancer thanks to the school's dedication to each student. The new studio is welcoming, clean, and can easily become a second home to Bay Ridge Ballet families.
My daughter is a student at Bay Ridge Ballet, she loves it. The owner, Ms. Patty is amazing and very talented. She teaches and leads with an extraordinary balance of zen and sharp technique. My daughter's technique has advanced a great deal in the year she's been under Patty's eagle eyes and sweet delivery. It also doesn't hurt that Ms. Patty was also trained by the well respected American Ballet Theater:)
This place is terrible . The owners are nasty . My daughter was so unhappy . There are so many better dance programs in bay ridge .We found another terrific place and my daughter has been dancing there for years .

The best dance class ever. The teachers are always nice . They never scream or get out of control. Most kids in this place win competitions and nationals. This place is amazing for dancing.

Very friendly environment. People walk in as strangers and everyone becomes family. The teachers here are amazing. They work hard to give their students the best they can. Even the students work very hard to become better all the time. I love this dance studio. I can safely say that this dance studio is my home, my 2nd family, and my safe place. If you are thinking about joining take a bow, without a doubt you should! This is the place to go!

They more interesting only in your money than giving something to kids. Old woman from a reception all time ask you about payment even before saying hello. After that Firstly they don't have normal change rooms. Secondly on floor so many couples , each try to listen separate music that make as a result a mess. Also very hard to find parking in this area.
I met my second family here. Some of the most talented teachers and students in all of Brooklyn. I love Take A Bow!

What can I say? I can't rave enough about my experience at the studio. I love it there. Prior to becoming a member I had taken a few lessons here and there with Eugene & Marie. Let's just say they both are geniuses and I consider them the best of the best in the business. I decided to try out the Tuesday seminar class and I was not disappointed. It is absolutely challenging but very informative. Even more I felt I was being taught not just about technique but music in general. After spending some time there, it was a no brainer that I should become a member. Indeed I made the jump a couple of months ago and I felt very welcomed especially since I am a ProAM competitor. I am mesmerized by the beautiful artistry and techniques of all the dancers there. The energy is such that one cannot help but feed off of it. In the past few months since I have become a regular there, I have already felt the changes in terms of my ability to balance better, develop a keener sense of awareness of my body as it moves through space. I am also listening to music differently and am actually hearing the music and what I am dancing to. My friends are telling me they have seen improvements. In competitions, I am feeling more confident, dancing more solidly, and producing better results. What else can I say but express how lucky I feel to be part of this club!!!!!!
I have heard all about take a bow. There is 15 kids that go to take a bow in my class. My mom said maybe next year I will be going there . I hear from my friends that they have good costumes and teachs you everything. One friend that goes there is Kylie Roman. I hope you come to take a bow next year.
My son went to college for dance in nyc. He encountered the owners Eugene and Maria before Brooklyn DanceSport Club was officially a studio. He was a member of the club since its inception and learned a great deal about dancing throughout his time there. I follow them on social media and at the competitions. They are a unique school for dance that is difficult to compare and compete with.
My brother is a dancer and often goes to run throughs at BDSC. He speaks very highly of Eugene and Maria and loves going there to dance. The competitive environment is very motivational for dancers and pushes competitors to work harder and reach their full potential.
My friend who was a dance major in NYC kept raving about this school. He has been training there since he moved to NYC. I saw him compete at a competition and he was really amazing. Half the couples in the final were from Brooklyn DanceSport Club. Im not a dancer, but the most serious competitors train there. I came to watch their practice night once and it was so cool!
I know many competitors that go to the dance studio and it's an amazing dance school for kids in the USA. All of the instructors are great teachers and really care about their student. Lastly the rounds are amazing and the best in NYC!
I have to disagree with the previous comment. (My daughter is 5 and half now and this is her 4th year at dance. One year we decided we decided to wait another year) I absolutely love the teachers and and the staff! The show at the end of the year is the best show i have been too! They usually have bring a friend day and also i thought they do do a trial call and ask def worth the call! I travel from the south Staten Island.
