Our first experience with NW Vision Clinic was wonderful! The ladies greeted us very warmly and explained everything very well. Dr Adam was extremely knowledgeable and I felt confident with his assessment. The ladies helped us pick out frames that suited each of us very well!

Dr Farrah and all of the staff, especially Karen, are always so helpful. The new location is really conveniently located for anyone living in central or south Calgary, and the clinic is beautiful, bright, and spacious. Eye exams are thoughtful and thorough and Dr Farrah really cares about every patient. The frame selection is fantastic with lots of new, lightweight, and trendy options, especially for smaller faces. I always find frames I love and have a great experience here. Parking is easy in the pay lot, and there’s lots of free 2-hour parking nearby, too.
Great Doctor and lovely staff. I take my young kids here too and the staff is incredibly patient and accommodating with the kiddos. Definitely recommend!

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Hesla’s for many years now. He is a wonderful, patient, caring and attentive doctor that takes time to thoroughly listen to my concerns and problem solve with me. I’m feel I am quite a demanding patient (I ask a lot of questions 😅) but he takes all my concerns seriously and takes time to explain the best options for treatment, answering all my questions patiently- I never feel rushed. I appreciate how thorough he is with his care. He is personable and conversational, and you can tell he really cares about his patient’s wellbeing.

Top notch experience! Right from the start, we were well taken care of by the receptionist in a friendly manner and both my husband and I had a great eye exam with Dr. Wilson. Saw Dr. Cynthia Du this week concerning my sight and vision. Website was so easy to book and front desk was amazing. Dr Cynthia was very knowledgeable and went above and beyond. What surprise me the most was how she checked up on me after my appointment and help me get an appointment with a specialist. Payment was easy as it was all direct billing. Did not have to wait long in the waiting room. Highly recommended

Dr. Chrissy Hines is great. The office itself is an absolute nightmare. Phone will never be answered and you are left always having to go into the office to order lenses. The person I have had to deal with in this office is rude and always claiming to be too busy to answer the phone or return calls or help in any sort of timely or pleasant manner.
My family has been going here for years. We all wear glasses but will not return thanks to the person behind the desk.

This was the absolute best experience I have ever had at an Optometry appointment. All of the staff was kind and helpful. Dr. Philip Crouse was incredibly personable and professional. He made the appointment easy and relaxed. I appreciate that he took the time to answer my questions and all around was just a warm person to interact with. I was also pleasantly surprised when he wrote me my prescription without any defensiveness about whether or not I’d be buying glasses through their store. This is the first time I have ever been given my prescription without having to fight for it. I have been to two previous optometry offices in Calgary and both were a fight to get my prescription, which is unethical. I was so pleased with my exam that I proceeded to purchase two pairs of glasses from them.

The optometrist was very condescending….She charged me for a bogus exam and said she wanted to see me every 3 months!!!! She also decided to offer to share my appointment information with my partner as if I was a child!!! Privacy information anyone!!! I went to another optometrist and it was a great professional appointment!
First experience here today; the whole team was thorough, friendly and highly efficient. Grateful for their care. I will be back and will highly consider moving my family to this location as well.

The service for both glasses and optometrist was first rate. The glasses I ordered were delivered on time and the quality was great! All the ladies were very helpful.
Booking the appointment over the phone was easy. We were attended to very quickly despite their busy queue. My entire family and I went in for a checkup and Dr Fareem was just on point with all the concerns I had; answered all my questions and even taught us a thing or two about eye care and backed it up with studies (I loved it! :D), they were great with our kids, and most importantly confirm what we needed to do for them and their optical health. We'll be returning for follow-up soon!

Great optometrist clinic, wonderful and warm experience from start to finish. I really appreciate Dr. Hesla taking time to go over my diagnosis clearly and his recommended treatment options. My family and I have been going to Dr Hesla for our eye care for over 10 years and I highly recommended him and his clinic.
That is a great clinic, my kids just can't wait for their next visit. Dr. Hesla is wonderful with kids and at what he's doing. When my son found out we were on the way to the clinic last week, he was so glad and said "Great, I like Dr. Hesla!" I am also always amazed with their professionalism and technology. They also have a cool program of replacement of the lens for kids for free, as they are growing and the vision changes fast. We are very happy to be the patients at Eyedeology Calgary clinic :)

Wow! I've been wearing glasses for over 50 years and have never, and I mean never, had such thorough testing! I learned more in my first visit to Dr. Burke than in any other. The staff are amazing! Ordered new glasses the other day and Jeneane was fabulous. Her expertise and how she actually listened to what my needs were was refreshing. Both my son and I have been extremely impressed by our experiences at Calgary Vision Centre. If looking for a new Optometrist or even a second opinion, or needing new glasses, I highly recommend you check them out.

We went there last week and I'm absolutely delighted with my experience at this optometry clinic! The doctors and staff displayed the utmost professionalism and knowledge, making my family’s visit comfortable and informative. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly and felt well taken care of. The doctor's thorough examination and clear explanations left us with a better understanding of our eye health (he did great with our 11 months child as well). I have never experienced such concern for my vision. The professionals at Eyedeology did far more than simply test my eyes. The combination of technology and helpful conversation have given me confidence that Dr. Yang and her team have made my vision into their priority. One negative was getting an expensive ticket in the parking lot in front of their building. Be warned!!!

Dr. Theresa Taylor is a wonderful Optometrist. I cannot believe how thorough the exam is each time I see her. She makes sure to go through any and all questions I have, and I never feel rushed. She does a great job and it’s apparent that she truly cares for her patients. If she sees anything even remotely suspicious she makes sure to get the appropriate testing done to give you and her peace of mind. She also makes sure to go through your chart from prior visits to follow up and check in on any previous concerns. She’s a wonderful Dr, and I would highly recommend her to anyone.

I had an emergency need for contacts for a day as a traveller who is moving to calgary and had my glasses script but not my contacts script. my optometrist back in toronto was closed and I didn’t have a specific contact lens script on me… but I had my eyeglass script… and they wouldn’t let me buy any or give me a sample. I can tell you having dealt with many eye and glasses clinic that this type of inflexibility is nonsense and hiding behind liability in a unique circumstance reflects poor leadership and I will make sure my family’s business never goes here if their employees can’t make a rational decision in unique circumstances. I spoke to a Brynn who would not be flexible which as a lawyer was very frustrating as there was zero risk to the clinic. Another optometrist Eyetometry accommodated me no questions and earned my loyalty and thousands in future dollars. Highly recommend them and will leave them a five star review. Phillip
This clinic was excellent. My husband had an eye emergency on a weekend a few weeks ago. I couldn't get an appointment for him anywhere. He was unable to make the trip to the Rockyview Emergency eye clinic. The Sunridge clinic saw us in 30 minutes. They diagnosed his problem. He had several follow-up appointments before he was able to see his regular specialist. The staff were friendly, caring & knowledgeable & we highly recommend this clinic.
I had specifically mentioned I needed an eye exam for my dental loupes that I will be getting (that cost over $5000). They said sure and that I will need to pay $160 for an eye exam. I received my dental loupes in and wanted to ensure good fitting for the health of my eyes long term. Apparently they didn’t take my eye measurements at my initial visit because I didn’t purchase a pair of glasses from them..And are requesting I pay another $100 just for another eye measurement.
I’m not sure why I paid $160 for the eye exam without full service for the purpose I had mentioned when I already purchased a $5000 pair of glasses/loupes. It doesn't make sense to me that they would have thought I would purchase another pair of glasses with them that I absolutely didn’t need at this point. Also, especially when there were no suitable styles for me to choose from. They had seemed a bit pushy to convince me that their styles were the best fit I would find when even after clearly stating once more that I didn’t need glasses as I was purchasing $5000< dental loupes!

Dr. Hines is very knowledgeable, experienced & friendly. She actually managed to 'fast track' an appointment for me at the Mitchell eye centre for necessary treatment. I would recommend her for all your eye care needs.

What a great experience. Visiting from the US I was having eye pain. Dr. Burke quickly assessed the situation. The front desk staff was great. The office and location was perfect. And they saw me, not a regular patient. Professional. Helpful. Experienced. Highly recommend for eye care!

Dr. Du was amazing with all 3 of my children. She was friendly and gentle and knew how to talk to them. They were nervous going in but felt comfortable and had a great experience. The front desk staff was also very friendly. You won’t regret going to them.
Took my kids for eye exams with Dr. Nakai. He's very friendly. He tried to chat with them to make them less nervous and they weren't nervous at all. GREAT customer experience. I went here after a terrible experience at Pearle Vision, and I am very happy I did. The staff were courteous and knowledgeable, and were able to do an eye exam immediately with no wait! They were able to direct bill my benefits which fully covered the exam and most of the cost of new glasses. Doctor Lonsdale was fantastic. Short and to the point, but I personally appreciated his professionalism. The prices were fantastic and I appreciated that common sense prevails here in all aspects. Will definitely be returning to this location in the future.

If you are someone who is looking to find nice glasses this place is for you. I’m wearing glasses for the past 22 years of my life, that means I have tried all the possible shops around Calgary, yet this shop has given me the best experience. Big thanks to Eilleen, she is one of the best optician that I was blessed to work with. With my high prescription, she took her time and found me exactly what I needed and wanted. I also love their warranty policy, that proves that their product is very high quality.

I can't rave enough about Dr.Norris and his staff, I walked in this morning with my senior father, who had just been diagnosed with shingles around and in his eye by his gp upstairs in golf Canada Square. This virus can render him blind if not treated by both a medical doctor and an eye specialist. I took a shot at walking in to see if they could fit in an appointment, the receptionist said they were booked but took one look at my dad and said...fill this out ill see what we can do...Dr.Norris saw him immediately and was kind and patient and gave him the help he needed!!! I can't thank them enough!!
The front desk staff were such a pleasant surprise at Calgary Optometry. Not only were they the standard of care and attention and understanding that I thought might be a thing of the past, but they were also humorous and jovial. What?! Such a nice balance of human and pro that seems rare. I was happy to have a Dr. explain things to me in a way that didn't seemed rushed and/or annoyed as well (also seems to be the experience elsewhere of late). What a breath of expertise and fresh air :)

I'm no Rachel from Friends but I don't love the idea of contacts or eye exams. I called Brentwood Eye Clinic because of a recommendation I received- and wow I am SO happy I did. The receptionist was an absolute sweetheart. She got me booked in 2 days after I called! I just finished my appointment and I had such a beyond awesome experience. Right when I walked in to the clinic, 2 very welcoming and smiling people greeted me. It was the same lovely receptionist who booked me in and Dr. Ronnie Blow. I felt so comfortable the entire time, and the kindness Dr. Blow showed me and to each client who came in made me smile. If I could give 10 stars I absolutely would. Thank you everyone! I will definitely be back for another eye exam with Dr. Blow much sooner than in 10 more years!

I hadn't had eye exam for many years and this clinic was recommended to me. I now have an eye doctor I will return to and recommend to others. Staff were great and made me feel at ease. Exam was thorough and explained throughout. Really happy I found this place.
What an amazing experience! My first time at NW Vision Clinic, and felt welcomed at the moment when I walked in! Emily was so amiable, professional, knowledgeable, and skillful! She was able to quickly get the desired test results within 15 mins! I had this test done a few years back in a different clinic, and it took almost a hour to complete! Thank you Emily again. Definitely will come back! Highly recommended!
I spent thousands of dollars at Visioncare for a prescription I was uncomfortable with, bizarre service when trying to buy contacts (she kept hedging and twisting and evading how many were in the box for what price). After weeks of waiting for glasses, the prescription was backwards as was the PD. I was charged $400 for thin coated lenses "because they are really thin and expensive". Steered away from frames I like, "because they'd look weird with your prescription". My advice from experience: Get a prescription from Walmart ($80) then buy online, "fully coated super expensive thin lenses" in great frames that you love all available for under $200 and received within a week; while the same pair with "fully coated super thin expensive lenses and frames" will cost $1000.00 plus $150.00+ for prescriptions that, in my case, were just never quite right, took forever to receive, and made me question the competency of the staff. For real problems see an ophthalmologist.
I had a great experience. The office is warm and visually appealing, with eclectic style and feminine charm. Combined with leading technology the whole exam time was enjoyable. Her staff are amazing, and the doctor picked out a perfect frame for me after meeting me once. I love the the open advocacy #notinmycity to raise awareness of human trafficking
Always a good experience at Kensington Eye Health Centre. Dr. Monea genuinely cares for my eye health, probably more than I do. Also, I get exceptional service from the frames and fitting specialist, Olli. I can trust her advice and her accurate suggestions. She is experienced and well considered. Despite me being a difficult case, all staff are patient with me. They are friendly, inviting, engaging, dedicated and caring. This is where I will continue to go to get my glasses.
Great experience at the Brentwood Eye Clinic. Dr. Ronnie Blow was awesome and I look forward to my next visit. Brenda was also very helpful with helping me find the right size/shape of glasses. Very positive experience and would highly recommend. Thanks guys!
Dr. Lonsdale and his team are amazing. Broke my glasses beyond what I thought was repairable. They repaired them and we got me a new set for just at home.

Best optometrist I’ve ever been to. Dr Norris is funny, friendly, and knowledgeable. Had concerns about my eyes and he was able to provide a bit of background information and allay my concerns. Always enjoy going for my eye exam there. Jeanette and all the ladies up front are all super friendly and helpful as well. I have a unique billing arrangement and there’s never any issues. Great team at Calgary Vision Centre. Highly recommend!
Been a patient of dr. Burke’s for over 10 years now. I have odd eye issues and apparently break my glasses occasionally and the staff there always has my back with top notch service, proactive recommendations, and a super friendly atmosphere. Although I’m moving to California, I will still be trying to use these guys. Special thinks you Ginene (sp?) for the amazing turnaround and game plan on glasses replacement yesterday.
I have been going to Downtown vision care for over 12 years. Dr. Dame is great and I have no doubt the other optometrists there are very good too. The eyeglass part of the clinic has a broad selection of high quality and current frame styles and it promptly addresses any concerns patients/customers have with their prescriptions and orders.
Just had my eye exam with Dr. Ronnie Blow and I cannot recommend him or his office enough! He was very thorough and carefully explained every part of my check up to me. He showed me some things about my eyes that had never previously been explained to me properly in my 19 years of wearing lenses! His receptionist Ann was also so cheerful and helpful with directly billing to my insurance company for me. If you are in the market for a new Optometrist for you or your family, look no further than Dr. Blow!
I appreciate the latest technology that Dr. Norris and Dr. Burke use in assessing the eyes for changes/illnesses. I feel that this provides a much more thorough exam. I’m enjoying my glasses that I purchased at Calgary Vision Centre recently. The quality of the lenses is definitely superior to what I was wearing, and the frames...so beautiful! Downtown location is a plus if you work in the area.

We've been patients of Dr. Burke for several years, and having needed glasses for most of my life, he has been the most thorough, and informative optometrist I've had. He is great with our small children, having seen them grow up from their first eye exams.
The imaging equipment they use here provides us with more information about our eye health beyond just determining how strong your glasses need to be. The exam does cost a little more than you might pay at other optometrists, but what's a few more dollars when your vision is concerned?
Service when buying glasses, and contacts is top notch as well. They cater to my individual needs and are always very helpful.

Family members have been seeing these folks for many years. They are busy so I had to wait several days for an appointment. They were thorough and pleasant. A week later I had new glasses but there was a problem making it difficult to read, so I went back. They again were friendly, patient and thorough, and promised new glasses which I received yesterday. Today I am thrilled with the results. I can read the fine print on the pill bottle and see clearly at a distance. I highly recommend Dr. Lonsdale and his staff.
Dr.Lonsdale and his staff are wonderful. I've brought my brother, husband and both of my children here. I recommend this office to anyone looking for an optometrist. My 6 year old son just got his first pair of glasses and they were ready the same day (and affordable). The staff submitted to my insurance for me and taught my son how to care for his glasses. After visiting an optical a few shops down,we walked into north hill optometry. Great customer service and the glasses were way cheaper than what we were quoted for the kids on the exact same frames at the other store. We bought eye glasses for my whole family. Will be returning and telling everyone about the awesome experience.
Dr Lonsdale is very good with kids. My daughter was nervous and he was able to put her at ease. The service was excellent. We got an appointment on the same day that we called. When we got there, there was no wait. The location is very easy to access right next door to Sears.
