So glad I was able to get an appointment on short notice with Dr. Schieffer! Everyone at the office was so kind and helpful. My appointment itself was quick and easy thanks to Alicia. I highly recommend this Pearle Vision office and will be coming to them from now on for all my vision and glasses needs!

Incredibly disappointing experience. I've never worn transition lenses in my life. Despite insisting that the script they wrote was NOT for transition lenses only, I can't use my script anywhere else unless I want to purchase transition lenses. They refuse to write a new script. Lack of attention to detail and the goal seems to be to make money and not provide quality care.
I called first thing on a Monday morning because I had an eye infection and although they had no appointments open, they got me in to see a doctor within two hours. The reception staff were very friendly as were all the assistants in the office. I had a great experience and very much appreciate the professional medical care they gave me for my eye infection.
Staff is kind. However, I was told I could get two pairs of progressive and eye exam for 135.00. I walked out paying almost 600.00. It is June 19th and still NO glasses and not trial contacts. My order is still in Haltom City Texas they said 7-10 days. I felt this experience to be unsatisfactory. I haven’t been able to see for over 2 weeks now. I tried to cancel my order and get a refund but conveniently manager is out for the week. I would NEVER recommend this place.
Bailey and all the ladies that helped me get my children’s glasses this weekend were exceptional! They let me use my coupon on both my kids’ glasses separately. This is the only Pearl Vision I’ve ever been to, but I don’t need to go to another location cause they always take care of me. Thanks so much for the great customer service!
My daughter and I both had appointments on yesterday. From the time we walked in the door, we was greeted and taking care of. Awesome location. I’ve been going here for my annual exam and contact order for 4 years now. Bailey and Dr. Tyler Jevne are both wonderful human beings. They were thorough, quick, and very helpful during my most recent visit. Everyone I interacted was very kind and professional as well.
The person at the front was very rude. The other person that was there was very rude also. I called to make a complaint and the person that called be back was rude also. I told her that I was going to tell people that I know how I was treated and she said I was starting a smear campaign against the company. Will never go back.
Every appointment at Eye Care West is a customer centered experience! Today was my routine appointment with an added wellness check. Victoria was personable and professional. She really knew her stuff and prepped me for a thorough examination by Dr. Grabowski. From the lobby to the exam room puts you in the mindset that you are going to be treated well! I do not plan to use this business for my optical needs ever again. My 1st visit was 2 years ago and it was great all around. Then my glasses (both pairs) started to show some peeling on the lenses, which I could only assume was the expensive blue computer/TV anti-glare stuff that I paid extra for. I also paid for anti-scratch on both pairs yet that was also a waste of money as they were absolutely covered in scratches from my toddler.
When I came back for another appt I asked why these things happened and no one could provide me an answer.
This most recent visit (2024) I was on a very tight budget. The staff working that day not only refused to help me find affordable frames. They didn't bother mentioning to me that they had clearance frames either. It wasn't until I was checking out that I saw them on the counter. I am very disappointed, I do not plan to shop there any longer (free vision test or not)

Alicia was amazing with fixing my daughter’s glasses! We can’t wait to come back for an eye visit. Alicia makes everything go so easily and is good with the kids as well which is a plus! Going to the eye doctor at a young age can be scary and she was amazing!
I'm so happy to be coming back to Pearl Vision! Alicia was so kind and understanding last week when I had to cancel and reschedule my appointment at the last minute due to a family emergency regarding my granddaughter! I want to personally thank Alicia, you were amazing. Today May 17th I came in to get eye exam for glasses and contacts. Bailey was very nice, professional, friendly, discussed everything with me during exam. This is why I love coming to Pearl Vision due how the employees treat their customers. Love Dr. Richert, best optometrist I have ever been to! She’s very personable, thorough and actually diagnosed a condition in my husband he had been struggling with for years and never was detected before (which is now under good control due to her recommendations!). Office is great, their newer location is very nice and selection of glasses is wonderful! All of their staff so friendly, helpful we’ve never had a negative experience here. Wait times are super short 👍🏻 they also have programs for infants and toddlers through the state, and have been great with our sons routine eye exams (which if you’re a parent, you know can be a little scary for kids with the equipment they use). Can’t recommend strongly enough

I moved to Omaha two years ago, and had to find a new optometrist. My last contact lens prescription brought my acuity up to 2015 for the first time of my life. I’ve had lifelong problems with my eyes, including torn retinas and cataracts in both. After this last batch of surgeries, I’m able to see better than I’ve ever seen in my life.
The staff is competent, friendly and helpful. Dr. Latner and her partner are working closely with my eye surgeon to monitor my recovery.

I love this place. It was very nicely organized and clean. Staff was outstanding with the care they provided. They take their time to educate you and make you feel less stress about your state of mind. Jasmine was personable, comforting and taught me something. She even laughed at my jokes and I'm not funny. Dr Richard's, I believe saw me. She showed patience with the patient, educated me on my eyes. Finally the staff in charge of the frames was very helpful in going over my options and trying to help me decide what would be best for me. I never had to wear glasses in my life so I cant speak on price point. However, with the experince i had, they way they made me feel comfortable, i cant imagine going anywhere else. Go check them out and "see" for yourself.

I have been 3 times in last month. Always got me in right away. Saw a different dr each time and they all were excellent!! Also had my new glasses fitted. I wish I had the girls name who helped me because she was very patient, professional and perfectionist. She would not quit until my glasses fit perfect. I hope she knows how much I appreciate her help!! She had very cool sort of animal print glasses?. 🤓
The worst customer service experience I've ever had. Even corporate was confused and concerned with how they operate. I don't want to give them 1 star, but Google won't let me give them 0.
Don't trust any offer you see on the website. They will find a way to "help you out" to a bill that's 3x as much as they said it would be and still not deliver. My order for single vision lenses were promised to be a 30 min job...then a 2 day job, then a 2 week job. Absolute garbage

Myself and my partner went to this location as I am in town from out of the country and needed glasses. Since we both needed glasses, we saw the special on the windows and decided to go in. Cordelia was the first one to greet us and provided exceptional care to every person who walked through the door. Jesse helped us with our glasses and lenses and was very attentive to our pricing and needs based on our prescriptions. Bill helped get our glasses put together in a speedy manner and we were in and out with our 4 pairs of glasses within 1.5 hours. Thanks to this team for providing wonderful customer service!
I have has eye issues and was very worried about my eyes. But they answered my questions with pictures and listening to me, which has released those fears. They have given me new Dr's for the next steps for the future. They care.

One of the best experiences I’ve had with customer service in years. Eye care has always been a passive activity that felt like another chore. I saw Dr.Elwood years ago because the office was close but recently went back because I remembered his manner being informative and genuine.
Just left with glasses and contacts. The exam was futuristic!!! Technology in this office was neat and worth visiting alone.

Yesterday when I went in for my examination there was one gentleman there and someone else who was brand new. However they were extremely efficient and my appointment went quickly. The gentleman was very patient and helpful allowing me time to look at glasses frames and help me determine which ones Looked best on me. He was extremely helpful and when I told him that I had medicare He was aware of how that insurance worked and gave me a phenomenal deal. He was very nice and all around very helpful and knowledgeable of their product.He was temporary there only ain't in that office to do some hiring and training. I hope there is someone there that is as helpful and knowledgeable as he is.
Such helpful and kind people! Dan helped me find frames that looked good with my face and helped contact my insurance company and saved me over $100. I didn't end up getting frames but he didn't guilt me or pressure me into buying anything and only wanted what was best for my eyes and my budget. The doctor himself was also great at reiterating things if I didnt understand and telling me all the things that were healthy and what was wrong with my eyes. All around probably the best experience I've ever had at an eye doctor. Truly, thank you all especially Dan. I couldnt recommend them enough! 💜
Definitive vision is hands down the best eye doctor I’ve been to. They were kind & considerate & explained the process of the eye exam in understandable terms. I felt comfortable & safe there & got cute eye glasses to boot!
I was seen about a year ago and was diagnosed with migraine with aura. I came back this year because frequency and severity has really escalated. I called first to ask if I could either speak to a nurse or if the person I spoke with could assist me. I told them what was going on and that I'm looking for treatment options for this. I asked whether I should make an appointment or if I should see my PCP. They advised to make an appointment as my PCP would refer me. So I did. Got here, check in went smoothly, the initial talk with the nurse (who was awesome) went great, got my eyes dilated, and then was sent to the waiting area. I waited for about 30 minutes before I saw the doctor. No one poked out to let me know they were running behind or whatever the case may have been. Spent maybe 5 minutes with the doctor while she checked my eyes to tell me it looks fine and to call my doctor for treatment. Uhm.... excuse me? That's why I was there. I was told I could see this doctor for this. Clearly not.
Everyone was SUPER helpful and friendly while checking in and getting my exam taken. The doctor was super informative and welcoming, I felt very comfortable there. They also helped me find the perfect lens frames that compliment my face. Will continue to go here for future exams.
My first visit yesterday & was thoroughly impressed. The front desk people were so fun and friendly. The atmosphere very chill and the office was clean. I love that I didn't need my eyes dilated with drops, their machine did that for them. Dr. Latner was very informative and seemed to genuinely care about the health of my eyes. And she was so nice & set me at ease. I really liked that I could see pictures of my eyes after the exam and what she was looking at. I highly recommend them!
I cannot recommend Definitive Vision enough. I walked into their midtown location with my teenage son. Both of us were wearing masks. Every staff member put a mask on their face without saying a word to help us feel comfortable. The person helping my son figure out contacts for the first time was delightfully patient, supportive, and encouraging. The front desk person helped me quickly set up appointments for the rest of my family, verified what would be easiest for us, and found three appointments in a row for myself, my husband, and my daughter. They vibe is modern, welcoming, and relaxed. The exams are incredibly thurough and the staff has gone above and beyond at every step to make us feel welcome and cared for. Definitely the best health care experience we've had in a while and we'll be sticking with them long term.
I had a complete eye exam April 2022 with Dr. Mixan. I took off a half day from my job, as I had to have my eye dilated for the exam and cannot see well enough afterwards to be able to work. Fast forward 6 months to today (10/2022) I called the office to have my Eye prescription emailed to may as I am going to purchase a new pair of glasses. I was told by Dr. Mixan's assistant, that they do not automatically do a new eye glass prescription with an annual eye exam. I'm shocked. (they offered to set another appointment for me to come in for a non-dilation exam for eye glasses) I have worn glasses since the Third grade. I have been a patient at this office for decades. This has never come up before. I have surveyed friends and family members, and they have never encountered this issue with their Eye Drs. Is it laziness? After over 30 years, I will definitely be finding a new Eye doctor/office. When I called the office all they could do was apologize and essentially blame me for not requesting the additional service. When I asked her why would I have come in if not to get a COMPLETE EYE Exam. Very disappointed in this service.
I have been going here for 8 years and have had great experiences and care every time. Today I went with a baby in hand and everyone was so accommodating and kind. As a mom, that means the world that I don’t feel like I have to get daycare when going to a medical appointment.
My husband and I got our first comprehensive eye exams here. We were very pleased with the process and staff. They were extremely friendly and experienced, explaining what they were doing throughout the process and making it very comfortable and easy going. I felt comfortable with each staff member as they helped throughout. The gentlemen upfront who helped pick out our glasses were kind and helpful to allow us to choose glasses that we were happy with and comfortable wearing. We will be returning to them next year for our exam.
I can’t say enough good things about this office and Dr. Dozon. They have a good range of glasses to choose from. I’ve bought three pairs from them and still put new lenses in a pair that are 3 years old because the style and quality are lasting. Also I have chronic dry eyes and Dr. Dozon has helped me with supplements and medicine to solve the issues completely. My whole family has come here since they first opened. You couldn’t find a better optometrist.
Dr. Dozon is tremendous. I called before they were open for an appointment to get glasses bacause I had just driven by and it jogged my memory. He was there early. He answered the phone and told me he would open up to help me find a pair. What service!

If you want to do a contact lens fit here you can't just have your appointment and then go and get your contacts fitted. They have a separate person that only does contact lense fitting, which has it's pro's and con's. I really like who does the contact lense fits but he has his own schedule, so you will need to schedule your contact lense fit separate from your eye appointment and the receptionist that schedules your eye exam doesn't have access to the schedule for the guy that does the contact lense fits. This means if you want to get it done all on one day you will probably end up being transferred back and forth between the two trying to find times that work both for your doctor and for the contact lense department, it's very frustrating.
Lastly, they don't take insurance for glasses or contacts. They gave me the logic that their price is "comparable" to other locations because they offer rebates. The rebates come from the manufacturer and not directly from the office, you can get the same rebates and a lower price with your insurance ordering through a different office. This is pure laziness so they don't have to train their optical staff on how to correctly bill through insurance.

I was looking for a cataract surgeon with availability sooner than the 4 months out availability with my usual clinic. At First Eye Associates I had several eye tests and was required to sign the cataract surgery authorization form before the doctor would even see me. Dr. Griess didn't believe me when I said I was having difficulty with my vision. His assessment was 1) my cataracts were not that bad, 2) I should use moisturizing ointment (which the previous eye dr discontinued due to causing blurry vision), and 3) an eye lid lift would solve my vision problems. Yes, he had a plastic surgeon to recommend. I don't have big round doe eyes, never did; my almond shaped eyes are what they are and have always been. Plastic surgery to lift my eye lids didn't seem like a viable solution to my vision problems. I've now had evaluations by two additional cataract surgeons and a neurology specialist, and yes, my cataracts are severe enough to require surgery, which has now been completed with terrific results. And, oh, by the way, I also have glaucoma which Dr. Griess missed completely.
I've been going to Aksarben Eye Care and seeing Dr. Dozon for 6 years and have had nothing but stellar experiences in that time. The staff is always so friendly and personal and Dr. Dozon does a great job walking you through your exam results and what they mean in terms of your eye health. There have been a number of occasions over the years that I have needed urgent eye care (anything from allergic reactions to forgetting to re-order contacts) and the office has been so flexible and accommodating each time. Highly recommend Dr. Dozon and his incredible staff to anyone!

I have been going to Dr. R. Crossman for 10 plus years. Very professional and personable as well. I have no doubt I am in good hands when being thoroughly checked. His office assistant is, likewise, very personable and helpful. Had to call the office from out-of-state to get my prescription as I had lost my glasses and needed a replacement. The assistant called me right back and was so helpful in getting my need met.
I would like to acknowledge DR. Maw for the excellent care being provided to me by First Eye Associates of Omaha, Ne.. His credentials are top notch. His work is impeccable. He cares for your vision as he would his own. I highly recommend him for all your vision needs.

My toddler daughter was in extreme pain and this clinic fit us in at the last minute. The staff was amazing! Shevonda immediately took care of my insurance and I was called back within minutes. The assistant Monica was so good with daughter! The fruit snacks were a perfect touch. Dr Crossman had great patience and performed a thorough exam. This was my first experience with Methodist and I was truly impressed. I am incredibly grateful to the flexible staff at First Eye.
I love this place! This is my second year going to see Dr. Dozon and I will continue for many years to come. The staff is great with communication, whether it be by phone or by email (which I prefer, as I work during their hours). Everyone that works there has a very warm and welcoming personality and that definitely helps put people at ease! Make sure to check this place out for your vision needs!
Does not answer questions and does not listen. If Dr Maw did a thorough analysis of my previous Dr records and my condition he did not let on so during my appointment. I have previously been diagnosed w/ Glaucoma - he said OCT scans are subjective - which my previous Dr had indicated there was deterioration in. After asking him twice he would not tell me exactly what my pressures were, just that they were in the teens. The first appointment I made he did not conduct full eye exam (ie prescription for glasses). So I scheduled a 2nd one, and had to remind him to do so. He did not listen to me when I told him the left eye power was too high - and when I received was WAY higher than what it had been before. I have had many historical issues with my eyes and to date have never had a Dr not share w/ me specific information w/ me regarding my eye situation.
