Badly burned my forearm around Christmas time, nasty second degree burns on entire inner forearm area. Went to Cortelucci Hospital but the wait was ridiculous!! So I gave up and went to this Urgent Care and I was very well taken care of. Arm was thoroughly examined, medicated and bandaged up all in just over an hour. I was then asked to come back the following day for further follow up, more treatment and given next steps. I am so very grateful to the doctors, nurses and staff there for their expert care and help that night because my arm has almost fully healed and it is totally because of them that my arm will continue to heal and eventually the injury will be practically unnoticeable. Thank you so much!!!! ❤️

I'm confused with all the mixed reviews ..I have had 3 very good experiences here... anyone complaining about wait times....theyre not any better anywhere else esp provided the service u can receive on the spot as opposed to a regular walk in ..I have been in and out under 2 hours doing xrays and other tests. I've come before close as it tends to be less busy around that time. Friendly doctors and nurses in my experiences.

Just visited place tonight. Reception is very friendly and professional. I was greeted by triage in less than 5 minutes after registration, registration process was also very short. On-duty doctor checked me up and guided me to the proper channel. The whole process only took 20 minutes.

Horrible clinic. Waited 2 hours for the bald doctor to see me for less than 60 seconds. Told me I had a viral infection and to just take Advil despite me insisting it’s bacterial because it’s been 8+ days.
Saw a doctor down the street next morning and she told me I obviously had a bacterial sinus infection within 10 seconds.

Friendly staff, organised, and good doctors. Wait time was 2 hours in total. Pretty quick considering Friday evening.

Clinic was fast to triage and pretty quick to put me in a room. Doctor didnt take too long after that. Altogether 3 hrs on a Sunday including xrays but it didnt seem that long. Doctor was informative and very efficient. I felt that it was excellent care given on all levels from receptionist to nurse to dr. The xray tech even apologized to me for having to wait, when there were alot of people getting xrays! I would definitely recommend as a walk-in and would go back if necessary. Better than waiting in ER!

Dr. Ha has been my family doctor for many years and I can honestly say she is absolutely incredible! Very knowledgable on everything and has always took us right on time. Absolutely no waiting! Great with kids which is always a bonus! She has made every single visit such a positive experience! As for the secretaries, they are always so helpful and accommodating. The Health Centre of me fall is definitely my place for life🤩

Everytime I come here, my waiting time is less than 20 minutes which I have no problem with that. As for my family doctor she's very attentive and super concerned about my well being. Thank you Dr. Wein for all your help 🙏

Dr. S Dammerman is a blessing to the Vaughan community. He’s passionate, intelligent and dedicated to his patients. I’m truly grateful he’s my family doctor. I drive 1.5 hours to visit him. Anna at the front desk is a pleasure to talk to, with every interaction!

Why does it say open till 1 if i get there at 12:02 and I’m told your doctor left at 12, I understand your receptionists still may have work to do but if your business isn’t open for public service then say that. Also, whenever I do have the displeasure of visiting here I find them to be very disrespectful and dismissive. Healthcare in Canada, long waits poor service.

Finally came on to give that well deserved 1 star. It's very difficult to see a doctor here during walk-in hours which usually end well before the clinic actually closes. They also told me it'd be at least 2 weeks to see my own family doctor. When you do get in, it feels rushed. I've finally given up.

Long term patient of Dr. Sen. He's OK when he's available, but he's almost always late to the clinic every morning. In my opinion this is borderline irresponsible and unprofessional. Every Saturday for his walk in hours, he would be late by half an hour at minimum. And he would not allow his patients to see other walk-in doctors like Dr. Jacobson. Ridiculous.

Reception needs to improve on picking up the phones to avoid patients coming to the clinic only to find out there's no walk in on that day or the walk in dr has called in sick.
The walk in wait time today has been over 2.5 hours. Absolutely ridiculous. I understand that Dr's need to call in sick, however waiting almost 3 hours to get blood work requisition is absurd.

Please post a sign for patients walking in that doctors are NOT seeing any more patients 2 HOURS before closing due to high volume. You close your doors at 7pm. There is a reasonable expectation that at 5pm that I can be seen for a health concern. To be told the doctor is worried they won’t finish on time is not my problem but rather either a time management issue on the physicians part. Your doors are open until 7pm and as such patients have the expectation to walk in and be seen by a physician. If not..LOCK your doors and post a sign that you are no longer taking patients. To the credit of the receptionist she advised I go to the URGENT CARE CLINIC at Jane and Rutherford and let me tell you the service and care is fantastic.

Used to be a patient for bartfeld. Be wary when choosing this establishment. Communication is non existent at best and they will drop you when you need them.
Even though I wasn’t a frequent patient (28 year old male), a little bit of communication goes a long way to at the very least know they are dropping you.
Those that are accepting calls are very rude and will hang up on you when you inquire for info.
They do not have their patients well-being in the front of their mind.
Look somewhere else.

Yes, advising of OHIP policy is fine. However, inquiring about the policy is not grounds for an automatic dismissal of the policy. As a patient, I have every right to understand why I'm unable to go see a walk-in clinic in the case you are unavailable. I fail to see how this was an indication that it's not acceptable when even at the very end I was still trying to get an appointment.
When our only means of communicating with you is via phone, hanging up is completely unprofessional.
I hope this practice can learn and admit from it's mistakes.

I took my toddler to this walk-in to have her assessed for a fever. We were turned away and asked to come back with a negative covid test. So to understand correctly, she wouldn't have been seen if she tested positive? I guess I'm missing the entire point of a walk-in clinic/doctor's office.
Turning away a 1.5-year-old due to outdated covid policies is concerning - this is far from protecting the vulnerable population. It's very disappointing to see the standard of practice at this clinic.

Went in with my daughter today for the first time based on star rating from Google Reviews. However, wish I had first read reviews as many others have had similar issues. When registering, the receptionist notified me that they won’t take my 4 year old child who has been complaining of an ear ache, in for a check up with walk in clinic because she may have Covid based on her temperature (which is related to her ear infection). I understand if she had more than one symptoms related to Covid. But just a fever when she’s clearly complaining of an ear ache? And as per previous posts, No I was not redirected to the pharmacy for a free RAT test nor did the receptionist offer to do one (which if they want one that bad then maybe hey should offer). As someone who works in the medical field with vulnerable people, would my excuse for not giving a patient care because I’m worried about other vulnerable patients be sufficient? To ensure safety my daughter and I both were wearing masks. I also saw that the doctor was in gown, mask and face shield walking around (which means he wears this whether someone has Covid or not?) which is fine but if everyone’s taking the necessary precautions, why refuse care to my 4 year old who’s suffering? Anyways, I respectfully left but felt necessary to write a review so others don’t waste their time when looking for good health care for their loved ones.

Friendly staff, clean premises. The front desk was welcoming, and the clinic was well-maintained, with ample parking. Dr. Jacobson was kind and helpful, addressing my questions patiently. However, he didn't disclose the high price of the prescribed medication. I was surprised by the cost at the pharmacy, which left me dissatisfied. Overall, the staff was friendly, and the clinic was clean, but the lack of transparency regarding medication pricing was a significant drawback.

You’ll be left disappointed every time you interact with this practice. I’ve been going here for 16 years and I am finally leaving the terrible place. The receptionists are rude and treat you like a number. I’ve been hung up on every single time Ive called - even though I had more questions. I’ve had an appointment with doctor Pererra - being the first appointment of the day and she was late by 50 minutes. HOW?!? Because she was dropping her child off. Make it make sense. I had an APPOINTMENT.
I went to pick up my documentation because they don’t fax anything because “they have way too many to do, to do that” LAZY. Was told I could come on Saturday before 2pm, I arrived at 1:30 and no one was there except a nurse in her outside clothes leaving saying “go home, no one is here. I cannot help you.” When asked why the hours are until 2pm, she said “it depends on the doctor”. You should have secretaries on until you close. NOT TO MENTION!! I walked through the entire clinic looking for anyone to help “while they were closed” and they had people’s paper work filed away in a room that was open. If I had no respect for anyone’s privacy, I would have gone through everyone’s paper work because they left all the patients files out in the open for anyone to go through. Even their staff room was wide open, with people’s belongings out in the open.
It’s unbelievable that this place hasn’t gone under yet. Don’t visit this place I promise you’ll be told by your doctor that you have high blood pressure issues because they were an hour late to their very first appointment of the day.

I visited a physician here while I was dealing with several compounding symptoms following a bad accident. My family doctor asked me (via telephone) to get into a walk-in clinic since I couldn't get into see her quickly based on her schedule. The doctor at this clinic told me he "didn't get paid enough to see me" and said I needed to go to my family doctor. I wish I were exagerating, because I can't imagine why any medical professional would outright refuse to assist someone. I wasn't seeking pain killers, I had a legitamate issue, I was asked to go to a clinic, and left even more overwhelmed than I went in. I wasted my time. Don't waste yours.

Location has convenient hours however you can’t be seen for a walk in appointment unless you come with a negative rapid test, which of course they don’t supply. So you will need to go elsewhere if you want walk-in medical care unfortunately even though the government doesn’t provide or otherwise require rapid tests any longer. It seems that this office isn’t that interested in actually helping patients by continuing with such restrictive policies more than 3 years post Covid. They also close daily from 1-2 pm. Otherwise, the front entrance looks nice and their is lots of parking.

When she answered, I asked about the new patient forms and she said I called the wrong side. Then asked the lady beside her if they're accepting new patients (since 4 months ago they were) and she told me "no". So confused, I giggled, said "ok?" and she hung up on me.
You know, I always like to give people the benefit of the doubt but that service was ridiculous...almost comical.
Make it clear online that you're not accepting new patients.
Make it clear in your phone prompts as to what extension people should choose.
Understand that we fund these services and are entitled to appreciation and kindness AT LEAST.
Oh, and how about if you DON'T hang up on people who are looking for help and aren't being rude.

Excellent Place within Community for Attention "Xrays" . Hours 4pm-10pm free parking. Two Nurses at Reception, both are fast & accurate. Plenty of seating in waiting area to go into Triage. Yes you can expect to wait (45 minutes approx) for the Doctor after initial tests/xrays, better than an emergency room.
