bought 2 large hoagies and a large bag of lays for $45. got home and the hoagie was majority lettuce minimal turkey and cheese. there was a time when it was so much meat on their hoagies that another sandwich could made. I was highly upset when i got home 45 minutes away. i wont be purchasing anything else from there.

The manager is very respectful and easy to work with as well as the staff but the fruits and vegetables could be fresher also some of the meats but working here has been a good experience

They make hoagies. It's wheel chair accessible. It's clean the workers or polite and Courteous. It's hacks out front. It's people to help with your bags. It's parking a food court. Nice place to shop!

Wanted hot food. A employee from another area walk the line of the food . I asked a question her answer was not polite. She was mean but I'm a good person and assume she was manager. I don't think anyone not in the working area, they don't need to be examining the food on the work side. Food was not good. Keep it up you guys will be closed. The cook was polite. But other employees with attitude around the store isn't good. Let's try to stay in business. Correct your employees. Thank you.

Just a piece of advice...Never, I repeat, Never attempt to reach this establishment by phone. They almost "never" answer the phone. I have been trying to contact them for over a week. Today, I finally got someone in customer service. I explained to her that I just had one question regarding catering and that I had not been able to get through to anyone for a week. I asked her the question, her response was "I don't know, let me transfer you" and immediately transferred the phone over immediately and after being on hold for 31min:23sec, I hung up. Haven't gotten back through to CS since. It's more than disgraceful that I attempt to support my neighborhood supermarket and they don't have the decency to answer the phone. However, I did call Giant in Huntingdon Valley and not only did they answer the phone in a timely manner, my question was also answered. If the Fresh Grocer doesn't want my business...I will more than gladly take my money elsewhere! My suggestion at this point, is that "everyone" needs CS training in that supermarket. From the top to the bottom! The management there is useless!!!

Market is filthy and the staff is trash. Garbage attitudes even if you're nice to them. I'd be angry too if my market smelled in the seafood n meat department and you could see trash built up under the shelves on every aisle! Also CHECK YOUR DATES .....they sell expired everything. I say don't go unless u want a hoagie....if not go to shop rite or acme or bargain market where it's clean n the food won't be expired.

I’ve been coming to this location a lot more since they seemed to have gotten rid of people standing out front and the drama has seemed to die down. I was just there this week early in the morning and purchased a pack of turkey wings. The turkey wings didn’t have an odor when I purchased them. How does meat go bad in 3 days, the wings were slimy and with a white film. Very disappointing to say the least! There’s a young woman who also was very rude and loud and implied that I was stealing groceries because she loudly told the other staff that if she didn’t think someone was stealing she wouldn’t have to stand over on the side. I realized that she was talking about me when she made it her business to stand close to watch me and then only spoke to reiterate a rule that it’s 15 items or less, I didn’t even acknowledge her because that was profiling and stereotyping. I don’t have a reason to steal! Maybe if you had more than one lines open, several registers were blocked with food carts, and less employees huddling and standing around talking. People can get in and out of the store.

The best pizza from Philly I’ve had so far. The sauce is tasty with flavor and is not bland like pizzeria sauce can often be. There’s not an overwhelming amount of cheese but rather the perfect ratio of sauce to cheese. There’s a nice bite to the pizza which is rewarding, and I found that the toppings excelled in both taste and quantity. I’m more than pleased with the price, the quality, and the consistency (I’ve ordered here multiple times), and for these reasons I recommend others to check this spot out.

my top pizza place in philly! Pizzeria beddia is a close second but topping og will be hard. I had two plain slices and my friend had a buffo chicken one and Sicilian. all of the food came out quick and delicious. i’ll be back again that’s for sure

The place was nice, pretty empty but nice nonetheless. I got a plain slice and it was ok. Super cheesy, nice crust, and slice size is average. Overall, slightly above average tasting pizza.

It's always well stocked. Great hot food and salad bar. But they don't accep/ any flex/grocery cards.

Produce department was Awesome. Hot foods was Hot and a Huge selection. Clean store also had lottery and rooftop Parking and out front in Parking lot. Definitely will be going back.

I unfortunately have to go here once a month to get a money order to pay my rent and more often than not there's not a soul at customer service. You wait about a half hour for someone to mosy over and decide to help you. Even better is when you get there and there is 5 people sitting at customer service talking and NOT MOVING A MUSCLE to help you. Just watching you stand there like a fool. If I had a choice to walk ANYWHERE else to get a money order I would. This place has literally the worst employees. And it doesn't stop at the customer service desk. The cashiers are barely awake. Or if they are. They're talking amongst each other. All I gotta say, is thank God for self checkout.

The Cubano pizza is SO GOOD, really any pizza I have had did not disappoint; I appreciate that they have some extra fun flavors and the crust is always crispy and delicious

We had a few different cakes that Nutmeg made for our engagement and wedding, and every single one tasted delicious and looked beautiful!! Meg was super quick to respond to emails, and always very clear, well-organized, and easy to arrange with. I loved the taste-at-home option—we spread tasting out over two days, which we enjoyed more than other in-person cake tastings!

Lived in Northern Liberties for 10 years, stopped here a few times but never with my kids. After spending 22$ on two slices of pizza, chips and two drinks was told I can't get a box to put their chips and pizza in because I didn't have enough food to qualify for it but if I spend 2$ more I can get the box. Pizza has always been mediocre, atmosphere is not much and as for service I walked outta of there holdin my 2 and 4 yr old hands while balancing chips and pizza on a plate. Luckily I know the rest of the block and delis.. walked right in there they hooked me up with bag and boxes. Will never come back to this place again. And as for pizza much much better options in this neighborhood don't wast your time or money

Wow I came to the market for one thing and I think I will be back so much more. It is so clean inside and so organized. Whoever is in charge is doing an amazing job. And I’m in hospitality and I was very well pleased . Thank you!

I love this shop, the deli guys are always so polite, friendly, hygienic and professional and make the best sandwiches ever!

I do NOT recommend the 36th and Market location. I went there twice and was disappointed by the experience. The lady making the sandwiches does not wash her hands. She puts on gloves but stops making sandwiches to ring up a customer whilst wearing said gloves! Both times were early morning before work. She took the cutting board out of the sink where it must have sat all night and started making sandwiches directly on it-not on waxed paper. Like who knows whether or not rats and roaches crawled over it all night 🙄. She doesn't say good morning or thank you. It's ridiculous. If you aren't a morning person don't work mornings! And compared to 20th and Chestnut, she skimps on everything. I asked for mayo, no mayo. I have to choke down a dry a$$ sandwich. Chestnut street weighs your meats and she just threw whatever on the bread. I thought all Old Nelson's were the same but they are not. If you can avoid 36th and Market, avoid it, and see my friends at the Chestnut Street location.

Very unprofessional when it comes down to getting a hiring follow up. Would not recommed you applying here. Been trying to get in contact with the hiring manager for weeks. Now that I am finally able to have a conversation with her. She decided to rudely hang up the phone call in my face. I been repeatedly calling after the call ; with no answer or call back.

It's clean, the prepared food is tasty, service is friendly and fast. Prices are high for items, akin to a convenience store, and sometimes items aren't in stock, but all in all this is a great little store/deli.

They have good inventory, and it is great to pick up a few items. I would not do any large shopping though because you can not walk your cart to your car. This is extremely inconvenient as there are always vagrants loitering by the front door. Yes, they have a rooftop parking lot, but it is rarely open for use.

Where do I begin? If you are getting married in Philadelphia this is the ONLY place to have your reception. Everything was done with such grace and class. Thomas was AMAZING!! Lisa was our bridal suite attendant her and Brooke helped me bustle my dress and made sure I didn’t need a thing! Lisa and her team made every single family member/ friend feel so taken care of, not one guest of ours waited or ever needed a thing bc the staff was just so on top of everything. Brooke was truly incredible through out each stage from booking to planning Brooke was hands down on top of everything. Finley knows how to throw a party, every single detail was thought of with them. I wish I knew the bartenders and wait staffs names but the staff that worked Saturday thank you a million times over for taking such great care of my guests and family. They are still raving about you guys! Thank you for everything, The new Mr. And Mrs. Radzevich

I can't say enough good things about this supermarket. Their selections are great, the prices are decent and they have specials all of the time. I love this supermarket. The only bad experience is the man who cut the lunch meat. He was miserable JUST WITH ME but pleasant with everyone else. I told him thin sliced and I got thick sliced. He was a NIGHTMARE!!! Glad I don't buy lunch meat as I was doing a favor for a co-worker. Other than that, 5 stars for this place. Wish we had one in South Philadelphia as I'm leaving the job soon and I will miss this supermarket!!

One of my favorite pizza spots in the city! OG pizza does a fantastic pie, with the crust crispy and the portions plentiful. They have different toppings each time and they do run out! They also serve desserts at the counter.

They have the best sandwiches at a great price. My favorite is the plain soft hoagie rolls. The staff is just wonderful.

Food is inconsistent. When it's good, it's great. When they are busy or having an off night, it's not good. Was quoted an hour, food arrived in 40 minutes. Normally that would be great but it was one of the sloppiest pizzas I have received. Would have rather waited the extra 20 minutes for my food to be made properly. It was thrown together, burnt, and cut in a sporadic manner. When I called I was told they are busy and the woman had an attitude. Understanding it's a holiday does not excuse over priced sloppy food. I paid $26 for a small pizza to be delivered, I asked for my money back and was met with an attitude and told the best they could do was give me $10 off my next order.... Prices have gone up for everyone every where, yet consumers are expected to be ok with poor service and poor quality. Unacceptable.

Is the pizza edible? Yes... does it stand out from the rest of the pizza in Philly? No. It lacks the flavor profile that I look for when I eat pizza. Everyone enjoys different things about eating pizza. If you like more dough and sauce, you might want to look elsewhere... there was plenty of cheese and meat but missing the basil and salty cheese taste. Surprisingly, the sausages were a little spicy(i like good surprises). I added some seasoning on it and devoured it. You can't mess up pizza unless you mess it up.

We got our wedding cake from Nutmeg and it was such an awesome and delicious experience! We had so much fun choosing flavors with the cake tasting package (one of the most fun wedding tasks for sure) and we enjoyed so many of the flavors that we’ll be coming back for years for more cakes! I also sent some inspiration photos and Nutmeg absolutely nailed our vision. It was perfect and our cake was not only beautiful but it was so delicious. We can’t wait for our anniversary cake!

Foods I was looking for were either on the shelves or an associate stopped what he was doing and found a similar item for me to purchase. The cashier allowed me to use a shopping bag to gather and make purchases while my custom hoagie was being made. I also purchased fresh fruits and cheese here. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. I will shop here again.🎒

I've never had a pizza like this before... not even sure how they managed to do this. The cheese only goes about half way from the center, then has no cheese the second half!

Check out the photos, it looks like someone purposely messed up the pizza. After seeing a lot of positive reviews this is hugely disappointing. Overpriced and burnt on the bottom too, avoid!

Wow, what can we say about Nutmeg except that our cake absolutely knocked it out of the park. If you want an incredible tasting cake with a unique and modern design, look no further. We loved Nutmeg’s style from the beginning, and knew it completely matched with our vision of our wedding cake. They worked with us to create a proposal that was exactly what we asked for and more. The design they came up with was so stunning, unique, and just completely us. And not to mention, their tasting process is so fun! We had such a hard time narrowing down the flavors because they were all so good. What we landed on was truly amazing and we got so many compliments on our cake at our wedding. From the design of it, to the taste, we heard it was the best wedding cake people have ever had—and we completely agree. We absolutely LOVED our cake and it was everything we dreamed of. We can’t recommend Nutmeg enough!

I photographed Christina and Clintons stunning wedding here during the fall. I highly recommend it! The ballroom packs a lot of guests. If you're getting married here definitely take advantage of all the different photo locations. My favorite are the stairs. Rain or shine, this is a perfect venue for a wedding.

Vinny (owner) is very rude unprofessional and aggressive. Thug like behavior, such a disgrace to the hospitality industry! Never come here.

He refused to show camera footage to exonerate the baseless charges levied against a patron. Instead of listening to investigate what happened he put his head in his hands. I’ve filed a police report. Someone needs to investigate him and his past business practices!

My husband and I recently tied the knot at the Arts Ballroom and two weeks later we're still getting daily texts/remarks from my friends and family about how fantastic the food and venue were. The dessert room was a tremendous hit with both the kids and adults, everyone has a different food-based memory as the Arts truly goes over the top when it comes to food. We had a number of folks with dietary restrictions and everyone felt the venue handled their needs well and delivered high quality food.

We worked mainly with Taylor (after the original event specialist we were working with left the team between us signing the contract and us preparing for the wedding quite some time later) and she went out of her way to understand what was important to us, communicate what she needed from us, and coordinate with us when we wanted to ship a number of things to the venue as we live in NY (we shipped things and everything worked out great!). On the day-of she was always nearby and willing to help me get the wedding of my dreams, including having the chairs rearranged when I wasn't in love with the original design, making sure the chuppah was set up to our liking, making sure all the décor elements we brought were laid out according to our vision, and keeping me up to date on the schedule of the day. I have anxiety so having someone so attentive to my needs and communicative early on in the day melted away some of the anxious bride thoughts that popped up and made it so much easier for me to just enjoy myself and worry a bit less.

Everything that was important to us on our day was perfect. One small thing was that when we were asked the flavor cake we wanted, we requested raspberry marble (and had menus indicating that flavor to our guests) but when we cut into the cake we noticed it was actually lemon pound cake. While we were disappointed, the flavor of the cake wasn't that important to us and we didn't put a big stress on it so we weren't upset longer than a minute as the rest of the day was perfect.

Clean bright store with an adequate selection of average meats and breads. My focaccia bacon and cheese was average... The focaccia bread was happy but wasn't the experience I was looking for.

Staff did a great job! We felt taken care of the entire time and never had to worry about anything. They were always making sure we had everything that they needed. Food was very good. Cocktail hour food was provided for us right after the ceremony. Beautiful space. Built in lighting system was great and very effective for the entire evening. Thankful we had our wedding here!

Michelle, Thomas and the team at Finley was so incredible to work with from the day we toured to our wedding night. They didn’t skip a beat. The place is unbelievable. The level of service is truly exceptional and the food is incredible. Our expectations were so far exceeded and everything was truly perfect. By far the best decision we made going with Finley and Union Trust for our wedding!! You will be in the BEST hands!

If you're a dessert enthusiast and looking for unique flavors for your wedding cake and also beautiful design, Nutmeg is for you! We had a small cake to cut and cupcakes as well for our guests, 3 different flavors. Many people told me it was the best cake they had ever had at a wedding, and a few people told me it was the best cake they had EVER had. Very happy with the whole experience, Meg is very responsive.

Down to greet and direct you. Parking lot directly across the street from the venue. Upstairs they had 2 bars and lots of tables to accommodate small plate dining from various foods bars. The balcony I'm the main dining hall which was meticulously decorated. Gorgeous stairways leaving to main hall perfect for photos. Hard-working wait staff, additional bars in main hall. Ample restrooms. Little disappointed no coat check - where's a man man to set his brim? Wonderful place for a wedding reception!

I officiated a wedding here recently. It was truly amazing. The staff were so organized and friendly. They run their events like a well-oiled machine and keep their clients stress free. This venue is totally worth it!

Nice deli. The guys behind the counter are so friendly and make great breakfast sandwiches. The market is convenient as well, albeit a little pricey compared to other options in the area. $5 credit card minimum.

A very good slice of pizza that certainly slaps the spot. I found the overall size of the slices to be more than adequate for the price being charged, and the array of slice options were certainly plentiful enough. The crust tastes like it was properly fermented and the sauce and cheese are quite harmonious. I'm very happy.

You NEED to have your wedding reception here!!! I got married here last weekend and could not have asked for a better experience. Nicole, Thomas, Tracy and the rest of the Finley staff were extremely welcoming and accommodating. They made sure that everything ran on schedule and all guests were being taken care of. The food was phenomenal. I can definitely say that no one left our wedding hungry. And the venue was BEAUTIFUL! After my family posted photos on social media they had people messaging them saying how beautiful it was and asking where the wedding took place. I promise you will not regret it. More than simply a nice, corner deli. ONFM strives to carry the best products and offer high quality meats (Boars Head) for their sandwiches and entrees. A favorite when I worked in the city and one I frequent whenever I'm in town.

Union Trust was our dream venue and the team went above and beyond to make sure our day went smoothly and beautifully!! Our guests raved about the food too which was really important to us!! Thanks again to the entire team especially Thomas and Brooke for being patient with me with all of our emails and questions. I truly appreciate your kindness and patience with me these past few months to make sure everything was planned and organized accordingly!! You guys rock!!

Ken's salad dressing? Really?? You have to do better. I love salads from Old Nelson always fresh. But this old nelson uses Ken's salad dressing. Which is a down right disgrace to humanity.

I wanted a chicken caesar salad & all I got is a taste of vinegar. Bc that's what All of ken dressing taste like. VINEGAR. I will never get a salad from this Old Nelson EVER!

I don't taste lettuce, egg, cheese, or croutons... All I taste is vinegar...

We can't say enough good things about Union Trust and Finley Catering! From the moment we first saw the venue, we immediately knew we wanted to get married there (in fact it was the only venue we toured). The venue is absolutely stunning and speaks for itself, but the staff really goes above and beyond.

From the beginning our wedding coordinator Emily H. was in constant communication with us. She helped us in securing our date and made sure all our questions were answered in a timely manner. Even when we panic emailed her concerned that our 196 guests and dueling piano band wouldn't fit into the event space, she put us at ease. I think our 160 plus email chain goes to show how compassionate and dedicated she really is. Emily is a true professional and made the process all the more enjoyable for us.

On the days leading up to our wedding and on the day of Thomas was also there to keep things running smoothly. He made sure everything was perfect, went according to plan, and that the day was about us.

And if our words weren't enough, our family and guests also had nothing but good things to say too. They all raved about the food and service. From the waitress staff to the bartenders it couldn't have been a better experience.

To Emily, Thomas, and all the staff at Union Trust, we can't thank you enough for making our wedding truly the best night of our lives!

This venue is so beautiful inside and has the perfect layout that we couldn't have asked for a better place for our wedding.

From the first time that I walked into the Arts Ballroom, I was floored at how big it was once you got inside. A great layout with cocktail and reception being in separate but adjacent rooms. So many people working during events there that there is never any lack of help for any guests. Really pretty inside and the staff is always great with communication from beginning to end.

Ballroom at the Ben is right in the heart of Philly and like I always say, you will never go wrong with a Finley Catering venue. Ballroom at the Ben is their more "middle" sized venue so you can fit 175-200 comfortably. Its a great layout with the cocktail balcony overlooking the ballroom floor. Everything all in one location and its an amazing view from every angle of this place. Ott is a machine. He will keep the party moving along without you even knowing about it. You can bank on a successful wedding with Finley Catering at the Ballroom at the Ben.

One of my favorite wedding venues in Philly. You cant go wrong with Finley Catering and Thomas is BY FAR the best maitre d' in all of Philly. Its one of the most unique venues and you need to bring zero decor with you because the place is gorgeous.

Our wedding at Union Trust was an absolute dream. There is no doubt that this was all thanks to the amazing Finley team. From the day of our first tour, Brooke was helpful and responsive and answered our many questions with timeliness and transparency. She made sure every detail was thought about leading up to the big day. The day of crew was absolutely phenomenal - the attention to detail was beyond my expectations. Thomas was on top of everything and kept things moving exactly as we had planned. Lisa was a bride’s dream come true - everything I needed, she was already two steps ahead. We were warned by many that the wedding day would be stressful/would fly by in a blur, but Thomas & Lisa proved them all wrong. The bridal suite is beautiful with plenty of space for our bridal party of ten to get ready and an attendant all morning. Our guests are still talking about how great the food was. I can’t imagine it gets much better than Finley - the venue speaks for itself, only complimented by the incredible staff.

I’ve been here quite a number of times since it’s not far from where I work and it’s a very nice grocery store always has a nice selection of products, I love that they have a hot food bar as well as a salad bar and it’s a pretty good selection of foods you can get from the hot food bar all for a reasonable price if you’re looking for a quick hot meal, they also have a good selection of pre made meals that all you have to do is microwave them up which is cool. I also love there sushi section because they have a good selection of sushi including the Temple University Roll which I have yet to try. The store is very neat and organized and well stocked. One thing I will say is that whenever I come here at least 2-4 of the self checkout machines are always shut down or opened up. But other than that this is a good place for grocery shopping especially since it’s close to temple’s campus.

I am SO thrilled with our wedding cake made by Nutmeg! Meg walked us through every step of the process and came highly recommended to us. My husband and I knew right away that their earl grey cake with bergamot buttercream option was perfect for us (and was such a unique offering). It was absolutely delicious, the design was spot-on perfect, and the leftovers held up so well. We got so many compliments on our cake - I can't wait to defrost the top tier!

First and foremost, the venue's aesthetics were truly remarkable. The interior design was tastefully executed, striking a harmonious balance between elegance and modernity. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect, from the beautifully crafted decor to the thoughtfully chosen lighting that created an inviting and immersive atmosphere.

The location was super convenient and easily accessible. It was situated in a prime area with ample parking facilities and public transportation options, making it convenient for attendees to reach the venue without any hassle.

The ARTS BALLROOM will undoubtedly elevate the overall experience and leave a lasting impression.

Everytime at work if they ask if we should have pizza, I offer this place. They keep reminding me it doesn't deliver to 1600 Market, but I just shrug me shoulders. When the other pizza shows, I take the biggest slice, take a bite, and say, "OG Pizza would have been better" and go give my slice to a homeless. Basically I'm saying I like it.

What a great experience we had. Taylor was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Worth every penny!! 5 Stars !!! Definitely my dream wedding!

The Sicilian had fresh sauce and a crisp, thick crust. The plain pizza was cooked to perfection and had great flavor. Its a pizza you could keep getting and not get tired of.

The food was absolutely amazing. I went There twice in 1 month and it never disappoints. I get The beef kabob entree every time. This time I got Baba ghanoush and it was so tasty. Def going to go here regularly. Me and 2 friends ate and the food was so fresh I couldnt Believe we got full for less than 100 dollars.

Hors D'oeuvre were great and served hot. Bartender was great and respectful. Staff was also kind.

It philly so as a vendor i cant really complain about street load in and the distance but be ready for a workout lol I was the dj (obviously) and the stage space was bug enough to handle my sound equipment. Im sure i could have added more if it was needed.

I’m usually a huge fan of this restaurant but today I had a terrible experience and won’t be going back again. I asked for dressing on the side but it was mixed in my salad & the salad was completely warm and wilted. The cucumbers in my salad were inedible. We also ordered wings which are usually our favorite but half of them were just bones with meat on one part of them and very dry and over cooked. Our fries were also very soggy and covered in oil and were inedible. I’m very disappointed considering I have had positive experiences before. We spent $45 on food and could barely eat it.

My husband and I got married at Ballroom at the Ben on 1/28/23 and the entire event was SO well thought out and the process was seamless. From the start, Emily H. was responsive and so helpful in thinking through things that may need to be done/providing advice in situations where we were torn between more than one idea. She was so nice and made sure we felt comfortable and taken care of before the wedding day. Ott was also SO on top of things!! He ran our rehearsal and was able to corral all of our bridal party together to make sure everyone understood their places and when to walk on the day-of the wedding. You could tell he is very experienced in running events and I felt we were in safe, trusted hands the entire time. On the day-of the wedding, he was in contact with our florist, wedding planner, photographer, and everyone in between to make sure things were running smoothly. He greeted us and our parents and made them feel comfortable in the bridal suite when we were all waiting to go down the aisle. Throughout the reception he was attentive to our guests and (if anything did go wrong) we had no idea!! The entire event ran smoothly, and the food was absolutely amazing! Everyone commented on the venue, food, and of course, our french bulldog ice sculpture in honor of our little frenchie. We received many compliments about how unique certain things were (chocolate shots in the dessert room and our first dance on the dancefloor while everyone overlooked from the balcony) This was an absolutely amazing wedding and I'm so glad I chose Ballroom at the Ben to host it. Thank you all for everything!!

Al Zaytouna prepares exceptional Tunisian food. Their sandwhiches and entrees are fresh, with real vegetables ( not the ho hum kind), and authentic flavors. Their cous cous entrees remind me of meals from my childhood. The owner and his wife are warm and welcoming; this restaurant stayed open through the pandemic serving as long as people needed food. There are few restaurants ( despite all the hype), that really seem to care about the actual quality of the food they serve. This is one that really does care - and it shows. Everything is consistently terrific.

Contracting Nutmeg Cake Design, was hands down one of the easiest and best decisions I made for my wedding this past July. Initially meeting Meg and having our first consultation with her was such a special experience. She took the time to get to know us as a couple, to understand our likes / dislikes, vision, define what cake flavor combinations best represented us and ensure alignment with the overall design aesthetic of the wedding + venue throughout the entire process. I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention that the cake tasting process was equally as magical. Nutmeg has mastered their cake tasting presentation and Meg sends her couples home with a package of individually curated vignettes of their most delicious cake / buttercream creations along with the latest issue of Philadelphia Wedding Magazine. Let me tell you that this was some of the most fun my husband and I had throughout our entire wedding planning process! It was packaged so well that we were able to taste test at home and then rewrap our tastings, cross state lines and include our parents in the cake tasting fun as well! We worked with Meg through multiple wedding postponements due to the covid pandemic and she handled each amendment with poise and utmost professionalism. We also worked with Meg to create a custom stencil for our wedding cake design and through each step of the process Meg ensured that all of our questions, concerns and minds were at ease. On the day of our wedding, some of the best compliments we received were in regards to how scrumptious our wedding cake flavors were! Both my husband and I cannot wait to rip through our 1-year anniversary cake which is patiently waiting to be devoured in our freezer! Final point: throughout it all, Meg delivered - simply put. If you're thinking of booking a venue in Philadelphia, THIS IS IT! I have been dreaming about my wedding day since I was little and they blew my expectations out of the water. Truly, I cannot recommend this venue, this catering and this staff enough. Everything is perfection. Alaina and Chris specifically are the dream team to work with. If you're looking for two people who will make your day unbelievably personalized, special and EASY then they are your team. The bridal suite was 10/10, they provided us with breakfast + lunch and amazing photo opportunities throughout the day. They allowed all my vendors to come in early, set-up with ease. Alaina from the very start has been incredibly accommodating to all of our requests. She made sure to check-in on us any chance she could throughout the night and with a smile! Chris, the GM, just wow. He was there our entire day and did so many things for us that made the night run smoothly and made it SO FUN. For ex, they surprised us with EXTRA dessert stations for our guests, had an Arts Ballroom Surprise for my husband and I (you'll have to book to find out) and a Champagne waterfall where my husband and I had a special moment with just us. They allowed us to customize our bar menu, got speciality beer for us, and had drinks in our hands all night long. I wish we could go back and do it all over again and again because it was the most perfect day. THANK YOU ARTS BALLROOM!

This is THE place!! I was drawn to Nutmeg based on their designs but the experience, product and service is all 10/10. The cake is amazing, we fell in love with their baking with the super fun tasting. You want your cake to be beautiful, sometimes that sacrifices the taste but not these, perfect flavor and moisture. Their process is streamlined which is very much appreciated. Meg was always helpful with any questions and brainstorming. I would absolutely recommend to anyone to hire for their special event. The wedding cake food tasting was a real treat!! Thank you Meg and team!!

We stopped at this restaurant in the Italian Market at 9th and Christian. We ordered a lunch of a variety of appetizers. Everything was freshly made and delicious. An excellent restaurant for Mediterranean food We are looking forward to returning for a complete dinner. It is a BYOB, which also makes it very affordable.

Top pizza shop in Philly. My girlfriend, friends and I all love the pizza. It's very filling, the crust is thick like a breadstick and the sauce is delicious. I've been here multiple nights and it's consistently good. You will spend a couple more bucks than a normal pizza place, but it's worth it for the quality. Recommend :)

This was honestly the most delicious buffalo chicken pizza slice I've ever had. The crust was crispy and light; the buffalo sauce was perfectly portioned and complimented the cheese wonderfully; and the blue cheese chunks had a delicious intensity that helped keep balance with the buffalo heat. 5/5 and I can't wait to try other slices from this spot.

Best hummus I had in a long time. Meat was delicious and very friendly people.

I cannot recommend Nutmeg Cake Design enough!! Meg and her team are beyond talented and incredible bakers and humans. I have had the pleasure of knowing Meg for years and even more of a pleasure eating her treats. Most recently while dogsitting in Manayunk, I bought three different Too Good To Go bags and was blown away by the variety of sweets inside. I also purchased my Dad’s birthday cake too. It was her textured cake style with vanilla chocolate chip cake and vanilla cream cheese icing. My whole family was SO impressed with all the sweets I brought home. The macarons and chocolate cake were my favorite!! Thank you SO much Meg and her team!!! I cannot recommend her enough and supporting her business!!

Thank you to the entire Union Trust team for making our August 2021 wedding reception absolutely incredible. Our coordinator, Stacey, was always available and answered our (many) questions as we navigated wedding planning during a pandemic. From day one, she was kind and always on top of things. Thomas was the most professional and knowledgeable maitre d - he has such attention to detail and had everything under control. Lisa, our bridal attendant, was an absolute angel and made sure we were taken care of at every moment. Our guests are still raving about the staff, the venue, and the food of course! The Finley catering team truly is “simply the best”! I wish we could get married there every weekend!!

UNFORGETTABLE! - From the ownership, culinary team and staff who go above and beyond to ensure that your day is joyously perfect, to the exquisite venue with excellence abound, the Arts Ballroom is the only place to celebrate any momentous occasion!

For a bit of context, my wife and I were one of the many couples that had to delay their Wedding because of COVID. In total we went through four emotionally challenging date changes. Yet with each date change, Alaina and John always made themselves available providing updates, answering any and all questions and providing a caring and compassionate ear for our concerns. They listened intently and demonstrated what true hospitality is.

Fast forward to September 5th, our Wedding date... From the moment my wife and I joyously crossed over the threshold of the Arts Ballroom every concern melted away as we quickly realized that every detail was taken care of! The magnificent venue was decorated exactly as imagined down to the smallest detail of the accent lighting switching for our delicious plated dinner service! To borrow the words of Mary Poppins, our day was 'practically perfect in every way' and will forever be one of the best days of our lives and one that our friends and family will talk about for years!

Mallory - Our Day of Attendant greeted us with a loving smile and magically appeared whenever we needed anything!

Chris - Our Maître d' ensured that every one of our family and friends was taken care of as though it was their special day, including our parents, who still talk about the top-level service that they received that day.

Chef - D-lici-ous! - Typically venues struggle reproducing the same delicious food that couples have during their tasting. However, this is where the Arts Ballroom thrives! Every item that came out of the kitchen from the delectable passed hors d'oeuvres to the elegantly delicious plated service to the delightful desserts. Every bite was cheer perfection!

Alaina - Our Event Specialist was a couples dream come true!! She was our very own Fairy Godmother helping to make our dream Wedding become a reality! Every email and/or phone call was handled with the utmost of care, compassion and professionalism! She was incredibly detail orientated and truly cared about our Wedding experience treating our special day as though it were her own. We couldn't say enough wonderful things about Alaina. She was truly a gift and helped make our Wedding dreams come true!

John - One of the Arts Ballroom owners was incredible to work with from day one. His professionalism was unmatched and that was demonstrated in each of the employees that worked the evening of our Wedding. They were a well-oiled dream making machine and John was right there with them on our very special day constantly checking in and

Not very impressed. The store looks beautiful, but the selection is weirdly small for such a large store (just 4 types of loose apples, for instance). Prices aren't bad. But the food court needs a lot of improvement. I waited over half an hour for a simple sandwich while others who ordered after me got theirs, and the sandwich maker did a pretty bad job -- the sandwich was just a stack of lunch meat, not spread out at all, and a pile of all the toppings, and then it was only cut about halfway through so it was almost impossible to actually pick up. The hot food did look good, though.

I order delivery occasionally (always the same thing-- chicken kebob salad and hummus) and the food is always so fresh. You can tell the lettuce is chopped fresh (and not from a bag) and the grilled chicken on the salad is still warm when it arrives. The hummus is so creamy, my favorite in the city

We love working with our photo booths at The Ballroom at the Ben. Load all the equipment is easy, the staff is very friendly and helpful and we love to see the transformation of that venue with those blue lights. We usually set-up our vintage booth next to the bar at the back which is a great location, because everyone can see us.

I wish I could rate the Arts Ballroom more that 5 stars, because it really deserves it! My husband and I were recently married there (Feb 2020), and our experience from the moment we walked in for our first tour to the last few minutes of our wedding day was outstanding. This was the first venue we looked at, and we walked out knowing we didn't need to see any other venue. The service, staff and management were spectacular. Kayleigh was our wedding coordinator, who was extremely accommodating, responsive and a pleasure to work with. Her and her team made all of our "wants" come true. The compliments and praise (especially for their cocktail hour, food and service!) are continuing to pour in from our guests, which makes booking this venue the best decision we made to celebrate our special day!

Beautiful venue! This is a hidden gem in center city. We had my job's winter gala here. Every detail was impeccable. It was as perfect as a wedding without the vows. They even arranged parking at the garage across the street. The cocktail reception was in a beautifully appointed room with a very large bar to accommodate a crowd. Several appetizer stations with delicious food. Dinner was in the grand ballroom which included a large dancefloor, a grand staircase, and large separate area for buffet dinner service. During the dance time they had the party lights that took the party to the next level. The acoustics were amazing. You can enjoy the music but it didn't drown out table conversations. I am certain that we will use this venue for years to come!

First time at this place. At first thought, I was thinking this place is small but when I walked in, it is small but nice. The restaurant is very clean. They have music playing in the background. Nice setting. Ordered the chicken kabob platter. It wasn't what I had in mind. The kabob is not on a stick. It's a stickless kabob but it was very good. The mixed green salad was pretty good too (missing from the picture). Didn't too much care for the rice and I love rice. I would recommend people to try out Al Zaytouna. Forgot to take picture when I got the food. Sorry bout the half plate 😂.
