Save yourself the $25 for a 2-meat combo and eat somewhere else. I don’t understand all the 4-star reviews…unless they’re paid for. I had the goat and chicken combo with rice and plantain. The goat was as tough as leather, not one tender piece in the bunch…was chewy and difficult to swallow…the chicken wasn’t too far off - dry, dry, dry. The combo is mostly rice and very little meat. I essentially paid $25 for a bowl of rice that would probably cost less than a dollar. Save your time, money, and teeth - and go somewhere else to eat. Meat this though isn’t food.

This is a strictly take-out restaurant. There are no chairs and tables for dining. My Ghanaian and Nigerian friends say that the food is great. I am from the Caribbean so the flavours are very heavy for my tastes, but still good.

Found the Waakye too sweet, no shito. Not authentic Ghanaian Waakye. Delivery was fast.

My partner and I really enjoy eating the food here :) very fresh and too quality foods!

I've always wanted to try West African food, and this was a good recommendation by my friend from Nigeria.
The food we sampled was all great. I had the Combo 2 consisting of beef & chicken suya with jolof rice. The price was a little pricy at over $20, but I would say it was well worth it. There were a lot of food portions in the order that I was able to take some of the food to-go for eating later at home.
The taste of suya was not too much different from other grilled food; however, suya still has its own distinct character. The combination of the grilled meat with the salad or coleslaw with the plantain and jolof rice was exquisite. The spice mix use was also just a little different to make suya distinct.
My friend had all praises for his order of the suya wrap. The food item was very filling with generous portions of protein included in it.
My only complaint was their transition into the new menu pricing and with their online order was not very smooth at all. They had a card with a QR code that should direct you to the online site for ordering, but the code was not quick to register. There was also no place on the online site to enter the discount code to get 10% off your order. The operators should have been better trained and familiar with the whole online order process and the expected interface that customers will run into.

First time I tried it was the founder came to share African culture in college. After the first trial, I found that the food was yummy and I just realised it was my first time to try African food ! I visited there today for the second time and the food was still delicious! You can see the box is full of ingredients and the price is reasonable haha 🤣🤣🤣🤣👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I just love this place! My go-to spot whenever I'm missing my homeland,I ordered the waakye, and it was delicious as always. It's a Ghanaian rice and peas dish served with goat stew, gari, spaghetti, shito pepper, plantain and boiled egg. I also got a small chicken suya, omg yummmm! Good portions, can feed 2 people and still had leftovers. This place never disappoints, and the service was friendly. I'll always be back ;)

First time trying suya it was good liked the taste. Plantain was so fresh and yummy🤗. Will be buying more in the future

Apparently this place is hit or miss. Unfortunately for me it didn’t hit this time. Beef suya was so chewy and the jollof rice didn’t have a lot of flavour it was just smoky and greasy. I will try again but with something different.
UPDATE, went back a second time and got chicken suya, it was great.

Was hard to find the place, the name on the door was different and just a tiny sign on paper that said Ghana shop… food was alright

This restaurant was my first taste of suya and I like it! I’ve had the chicken, fish, and goat suya here and out of those I would say the goat is my number one. The flavours on the proteins are delicious but the textures for the goat and chicken can be tough to chew.
For the sides the fried plantain cannot be beat! They pack a great sweetness which is well complemented by that slight char. The puff puff is awesome as well (basically sweet fritters in a ball shape). Then there’s the well seasoned jollof with a decent amount of spice 👍🏾
Overall this is a good spot to get tasty food but you need to order in advance because wait times can be rough.

First time trying West African food, was overall a good experience. Got Combo 1 with beef suya, jollof rice, fried plantain, cabbage and onion salad, pepper sauce and pop for $21.20 plus tax. May seem a bit on the pricier side but enough food for two meals for me.
They do not skimp with the meat, which was good to see. Had a strong smokey taste which was unique. The combination of the salad, rice and meat worked well. Though be very careful with the pepper sauce, it is tasty but seriously spicy!

Food was very tasty, I got the egusi soup with fufu and their peanut soup. Very delicious . And the portion is just right

My partner is Ghanian and we recently relocated to NB, it's difficult to get our cultural food here and when we visit Toronto we try to discover all the new restaurants we didn't try and revist our favorite restaurants that we loved.
His favorite meal is Red red and we order via Uber eats and it did not disappoint. Waakye was amazing as well. Would definitely recommend it to friends.

Ordered okra stew and banku at the Afrofest yesterday (Friday 8th July) only to get home and see Egusi stew and Eba...
Very disappointing.
Very disappointing.

The food is amazing everything taste wonderful I just for their fried tilapia it would be best that they could add some salt and pepper that would be more flavour to it. it’s just so plain

Ordered via Uber , food was well packed . Delivery was on time. I have been looking for a Nigeria shawarma for a while and I was excited to try this one.
The taste was in point !! Size is great for the price and the sauce was good. I will definitely be trying more of their food .

Honestly, I don't really like to order african meal but not until a friend recommended Bidazeld Catering to me and I ordered their Gizzdodo and Native Jollof rice with assorted meat. Wowwww the meal was well spiced, colorful, tasty, and neatly packaged. I could tell that lots of energy and love was put into making the meal and for someone like me, food presentation matters a lot. Surprisingly, they do follow up and my meal also came with extra goodies. So to Bidazeld catering, thank you and you will be seeing more of me.

Ok so I've ordered from a lot of other African stores (becausse I'm a foodie and like to see which is best) but I kid you not, this has to be one of the best places I've ordered for. The meals are fresh, AFFORDABLE, and tasty. One thing I also really love about the store is their consistency....no matter how many times I order from them, the food tastes the same. I 100/10 recommend !

I've never had such amazing food! The Egusi was great. loved every bite of it!

Ordered egusi soup. Food not only overpriced but terrible. Remarkably terrible. Tastes frozen

I ordered egusi soup. I wanted to love it. It was bland and the chicken was dry. It seemed like it was previously cooked and frozen. Still on the search for the best egusi soup. Seem like nice people though.

I ordered here from uber eats and sooooo good. They listened to my allergy instructions, they packaged the food with such detail. I can tell that whoever is running this restaurant is very serious about their craft . I wish you mega success and I will be ordering again and again.

The food is finger-licking GOOD!!!!!! I had the Jollof rice + full fish and it hit all the right spots. Bidazeld definitely can take my money!!!!!
