Staff here are rude and unhelpful.
The current manager has no place being a manager there as he is clueless.
Compelled to write a review as the service is just beyond awful.

Always plenty of parking and the shops are easy access, with lots of quality/bargains to purchase 😀

Went to return an inferior quality iPhone charger cable that I had purchased less than 30 days ago - I provided proof of purchase too. I say inferior as the cable is starting to break and I was told by the staff and manager this was my fault and I was denied the refund or return. The manager is rude and lacking in customer service and unfortunately, the staff working with her adopt the same attitude.
I took said inferior charger to Argos Evesham where there was no issue replacing it. In fact, i spent more money on a better quality charger. The staff there are lovely and helpful.

Very disappointed with my experience here. Went on a Saturday about 10am to buy a Samsung tablet. Used the terminal to select the item. It had a free cover, but that wasn't in stock. I also had a £5 voucher but couldn't enter it on the terminal so went to the tills. No longer paper and pencils to write down the number so take a photo of the screen. Guess what? No-one was there, one person in front of me was waiting too. There was a colleague in another area on the phone. 10 mins pass and eventually another colleague arrives to serve us. Our turn arrives. Can only use voucher online - so sit down & order online to click & collect. Then have to wait to see someone else. The other colleague is Still on the phone - discussing a staff discipline issue where all could hear! Shocking behaviour, poor service. Not good at all.

Bought an LG TV for a total of £2800. I was advised that I would also receive £150 worth of vouchers as there was a promotion. I would receive then online. Several weeks have passed and I’m still waiting for the vouchers. I also visited the store and was told I would receive them by the end of the week. Still no sign.
I called Currys advisors. They were as much use as a chocolate teapot. Passed from pillar to post. They were inept and clueless. Extremely poor after sales service. Avoid!!!!!!

Bought a laptop but it stopped connecting to the Internet less than 4 weeks after purchase tried online help who advised taking it to store for repair, the store staff initially tried to get us to send it off for repair but we refused and asked for a replacement, eventually they agreed to try a factory reset which seemed to have worked, they did the repair but with little enthusiasm. Still better service than an online purchase but not much without us standing our ground

For an electronics “Hub” their payment system seems archaic and slow. I have visited it on many occasions and there always seems to be a lack of staff available too just to ask a few questions. My guess is that within a few years this once high street chain will no longer be around…oh yes, and why is printer ink so expensive, it’s almost worth throwing your old printer away and buy a new printer with the ink in it. One good aspect is that you can take your old tech stuff there to be recycled.

To cut a long story short- I wanted an American fridge freezer, but wanted to ensure that I could have my larder fridge AND freezer taken away for recycling at the same time as the delivery. I used the webchat to ask if this was able to happen. They said 'yes, absolutely- Just add it twice to the collection option when ordering...I couldn't find this option, so rang the live chat to confirm how I do this, who cut me off whilst 'going to ask their supervisor for advice'. Back I go to webchat, who again reiterated that I could have both items collected, but would have to call customer services (which I had tried a number of times and got nowhere, but was told that it was the wrong number that I was using anyway, even though it is the one found all over the internet)... so I called the number that he suggested, who then told me that I couldn't have x2 collections on an order for x1 large item and that I'd need to either buy another large appliance...or BRING MY ITEM TO THE STORE MYSELF for them to recycle!
I decided to rock up to the store (empty handed! LOL) and speak to someone face to face, who could give me a straight forward, accurate answer for my situation.
Jacob was brilliant! He was sympathetic, understanding and helped to resolve the situation for me.
I'm now just waiting for it to be delivered/items collected for recycling!
The take away from this is:
-ALWAYS SAVE THE TRANSCRIPT(S)!
-Ordering in store provides a better customer experience
-No, they do not take away additional items as a rule, so their web advisors need more training!

Excellent service from all staff encountered!
Particular shout out to Eden (manager) who was exceptionally friendly, helpful and resolved our issue promptly :)

Nothing you want is ever in stock if you just turn up, and when they did have something they couldn't find it in the warehouse and told me it was probably stolen. Same old story, being told by the staff you can order it online instead. You do realise that if everybody does this then they won't have a physical shop leading to your jobs being redundant! Staff very polite, but I get the impression that they don't have any knowledge on the products they are selling, questions about Dolby vision, HDR etc created some confused responses.

Absolutely horrific service or lack of I should say. I went to buy a new laptop and hoover this evening only to have all 5 staff members completely ignore me. No acknowledgement from anyone at all. All I could hear was the manager barking at staff 'I need someone on washing machines, I need someone on TVs" disgusting to hear the staff being spoken to like this. I walked out in the end and went to Kidderminster hoping for better but it was just as bad. AVOID BOTH

Wife bought a single duvet set by mistake. Went to return it, but a paper band within the polythene bag was torn. We were refused a refund even though the item was not damaged and we wanted to spend more money on the king size set we originally wanted - and they had it in stock.
Tried to contact Argos via the web but the phone line was a disaster of "I'm sorry, I didn't hear that" etc.
We've bought a lot of stuff from Argos recently including the actual bed, which was over £500. Will not be using them again after this though :(
Staff attitude during this was poor too.

Good afternoon, wanted to reach out to you and complaint about your service. We ordered in store a phone Galaxy S23 a month ago, when you had a Black Friday and still have nothing. Neither phone nor refund. That was supposed to be a gift for our son for Christmas and now not a single person contacted us and has given us an update. The store claims it was lost in transit. If we can’t have the phone, then PLEASE simply refund us!

Just got a gift for my wife. The product was marked up for more than it should have been. The guy then told me he could do me a deal with extras and product protection for an extra £2.50. Great i thought! Got home and checked my reciept to find i could have just bought what i wanted and saved £20.00 .i didnt even get all the extras that are on the receipt!!

Absolute disgrace of a collection point for parcels. Refuse delivery from DPD because the item is too big (you have a huge warehouse) and cause me issues now with my delivery. Congratulations and well done to you! Waste of time and a joke.

Went down to Argos as I bought a camera that wouldn’t connect either next to the router or in the location I wanted it I’d spoke to the main supplier and they tried and no luck even next to the router it hadn’t worked.
So I went back to Argos the staff were obviously yeah that’s ok but then Gillian came out the duty manager and she approached with a really aggressive attitude and was extremely rude, saying do you think this is the buy use and return shop We can’t sell that to anybody as it’s been opened and used. Her whole attitude and response was awful.
In 25 years of customer service not once would I ever dream of approaching or talking to a customer with that tone and attitude, the worst part I went in totally understanding that it was nearly home time and had she have approached me differently.
I took camera back to another store that were a lot more helpful and understanding and no attitudes or aggression toward me.
I would strongly advise anyone going into Worcester retail Argos please be aware that Gillian really does not like customers and can be extremely rude and aggressive towards people.
Even though I understand that I’m asking for a refund on an item that can’t be resold that’s technically not true either as Argos would have resold on a pallet and the camera was genuinely Faulty and returned at another store it was extremely upsetting and stressful to be treated like a dirty carpet she wiped her feet on I would have been a lot more happy with just saying I’m sorry we can’t except it back unless you have a referral to refund from the camera technicians.
