This location is really awful for placing online pick up orders. First time I placed an order directed to here, I didn’t receive an email confirming its ready until the deadline date approached. Second time I waited a week and got no confirmation with a qr code again, so I went to see if it was just sitting in the back. I was right. Either there’s an issue with Uniqlo’s email server or the people working the receiving mustve got hired off a diploma mill. I feel obligated now to just have my orders delivered which is disappointing since I like to browse in-store and sometimes leave with more than I ordered.
Another issue I noticed was the poor inventory management. I had ordered a jacket sized up and would’ve liked to exchange in person for a small, but Uniqlo site said there was none in stock at this store. I noticed today during my pick up that’s not accurate.

This is for the Fairview Mall location. They are new and do not have a place to leave a review yet but this is a 'store policy' issue so I don't think it matters where I say this. I spent about 30min shopping for my husband and he called me saying that he would get off work early. So instead of buying the clothes I found for him I wanted to bring him to the store to see if he would like them instead. I asked the store if I could put them on hold for one hour and I would come back. They said 15min only and I am really disappointed. I can understand if it was for hours and hours or all day but for a 45min difference.. does it really make a difference? I really do not think so. I have always enjoyed this store as a chain. Disappointing. I have had better customer experience at other clothing stores.
If you're an indecisive online shopper, do not shop here. The policy is exchanges only, which means you can't order an item online for in-store collection and then return it for a full refund, even with the tags attached. The worst return policy I've seen of all stores at Yorkdale. On top of that, Uniqlo's quality has spiked. The brand still has exceptional pieces for an affordable price including its collabs, but it's clear the only thing they've increased is the price tag.
I remember getting some items from a Uniqlo in Seoul many years before a Canadian location ever came. Since it's opening, I've shopped at this store since these clothes seem to fit my body much better than other American and European brands. I like how high tech the self-service checkout stations are: It detects all the close via NFC and the display shows all the items instantly.
I want to express my sincere appreciation to the store employee if I remember her.... Bansari who went above and beyond to assist me when no one else was available. She was very kind and helped me find all the items making my shopping experience great. I will be coming back.
Extremely rude customer service! We wanted to return a dress, she ignored us for a few minutes, took her time. Then refused to accept the return and accused us of wearing the dress. She said this is not in the selling condition. Rude and unprofessional.
Great store manager Katherine always goes above and beyond to serve her loyal customers. Top notch customer service! Highly recommend this location.
i wish i can give no star at all. worst customer service ever. no respect at all. the judge so much by appearence. they ignore their customers and act as if they are doing a favour for letting a customer in and buying from them. i was pushed away from the cashir so fast cuz their eyes were on this man who was buying something. my dress was not folded properly and put in the bag. they just left the bag on the tabel and couldnt wait to help the man behind me. they were so damn desperate for the man. the emplyees were giving me just looks when i was looking around, as if i was a beggar, who cant afford. i really did regret it later when i bought something. i wish i didnt. i wish the employees manners were as high as their prices. hate the brand now cuz of their poor customer service.
I normally try to give 5 star reviews however the service I experienced wasn’t quite there unfortunately. I forgot her name, but it was a lady with dark hair that helped me. She was friendly and greeted me when I walked in the store. However when I wanted to try on a top and told her I wear a small, she gave me an extra small instead. So I asked for a larger size (which was still a small) while in the fitting room, and she gave me another extra small. It wasn’t until the third time was when I actually got the size I wanted. It wasn’t a frustrating experience, just questionable.
Always find the nicest dresses at this store. The lady that helped us was phenomenal. Tatiana went above and beyond, she’s a real asset to this store.

I bought an expensive item at Marciano for my Wife's birthday. Due to some major life events i had to return it 1.5 months later - unworn, still packed and with invoice and tags.
Marciano staff only allows an exchange for something else (past 1 month), not a refund - even though the original item is still in sale and they can put it back on the rack.
Spoke to the manager and she didn't help with it. There were no other items that my wife would wear, and i spent 3 hours haggling and debating and finally i had to agree to get (something) to close this story. Hundreds of dollars wasted.
Folks, you are pretending to be a luxury store. But your return policy for new, unworn items is worse than Dollarama's. You lost a customer, and i will never come again.

Nice alternative to Gap. Their clothing seems to be of higher quality. They have a great selection of children’s clothes and their heat tech clothes are great for keeping the kids warm during winter. This store is pretty big and they have the self checkout machines that just work. You just dump everything into the basket and the machine knows what you have picked.
My 5 year old daughter enjoyed looking at the UT shirts. She wanted to get the Pokemon shirt, but I didn't really look like a Pokemon shirt so I convinced her she didn't really need it. They had other styles as well like Disney Princesses and Marvel stuff. There are two floors. My wife felt overwhelmed with all the clothing options for women on the first floor. As we were here mainly for our daughter, we spent most of our time on the second floor. We didn't end up picking anything for our daughter, but we would definitely visit the next time we come to Yorkdale Shopping Centre.
