“Do Not Stay Here – Roach Infestation and Uninhabitable Conditions!”

This Airbnb was a nightmare. Within an hour of arriving, we found cockroaches in the bathroom, family room, and kitchen. The floors were filthy, and the dishes were not clean, showing a complete lack of care for cleanliness.

We immediately tried contacting the host, but their after-hours emergency number went unanswered. After failed attempts to reach them, we had no choice but to leave the property by 10:30 PM (3 hours after arriving) and check into a hotel. Despite informing Airbnb and the host about these issues and providing proof of the infestation through photos and videos, we faced dismissive and rude responses from the host. The host blamed the infestation on the weather and the surrounding area instead of taking responsibility for their unclean and poorly maintained property.

Avoid this property at all costs unless you enjoy being surrounded by roaches, dealing with unresponsive hosts, and losing your hard-earned money.

We enjoyed our stay the rental was close to attractions, well within walking distance of restaurants and bus stops. The rental was clean and very comfortable. The manager Erika is amazing! Will be back to stay when I return to this wonderful city!

I've had a few family members visit nola over the last few years and always use MM rentals. They're great and reasonably priced.

Stayed August 2024. I have to say from booking until the end, this was top notch. The place (The Oak) which makes up two different condominiums was impressive. There were seven of us and we had plenty of room. The building was quiet, and it was definitely within walking distance of everything. Erika was great and very very responsive. I highly recommend.

Our chosen accommodation, The Catherine, was perfectly suited to our group of eight. This spacious unit was ingeniously designed with two rooms connected by a conjoining door in the living area, providing us with the luxury of two kitchens, two living rooms, and even two sets of washer and dryers. Additionally, we were delighted have a balcony overlooking the city, adding an extra touch of charm to our stay.

The kitchen facilities exceeded our expectations for an Airbnb rental, equipped with essentials like a Keurig and cookware, making it feel like a true home away from home.

The beds were exceptionally comfortable. Throughout our stay, Myra, Erika, and Cami ensured that we not only felt welcomed but also truly at ease. Their hospitality played a significant role in making our vacation truly unforgettable.

Located centrally, New Orleans Luxury Rentals provided convenient access to all the attractions we desired to visit, whether by foot or by utilizing the streetcar.

To add the final touch, the cleanliness of the premises was impeccable, further enhancing our overall exceptional experience.

this place was definitely a Home away from home. They did not skip on any of the things that made us comfortable. The decor was immaculate. The location is walking distance to Canal Street and The Riverwalk. The communication with the staff was spot on.

We recently had the privilege to stay in The Mambo at the Little Lagniappe. From the moment we walked into the building we were blown away! The attention to detail in the decor, the stocked items in the condo and cleanliness were all unmatched. The team at Little Lagniappe were amazing to work with and checked on us continuously throughout our stay to ensure nothing was needed. They truly strive to please their guests and offer the best! We will most definitely be back!

Shady business. If you’re going to cancel our reservation 30 minutes after the checkin time at least let us know why. You had 6 months to communicate and failed to do so. We had flights booked and everything too. Now our vacation is ruined. How would you feel if this happened to you?

I made a reservation to stay at one of their rentals for 6 weeks 6 months in advance. I arrived in new orleans and they cancelled 30 minutes AFTER our reservation started without an explanation. We had no place to stay and I had to spend an additional $3000 on housing with a different airbnb + we need to find an earlier flight home, bc we cant afford to stay here any longer.

Great management! Have stayed at two of their properties. Lovely historic homes, clean, well supplied with toiletries, kitchen goods, even makeup remover pads (hard to come by). Highly recommend.

Just wanted to say the hosts are amazing, will definitely be staying with them again! The location is in the middle of the action, service and rooms are great. Would highly recommend booking this location.

The Big Easy unit was even more impressive than in the pictures. This penthouse apartment was the perfect place for our group of 6 (3 couples) to spend our time in New Orleans. Beautifully appointed and in a great location - close to the Quarter, lots and restaurants and a few blocks from the trolley. Nothing but 5 stars for New Orleans Luxury Rentals! When you first enter it is so nice and clean. The key pad at the front entrance is great for extra security. We stayed in “The Library” room, what a great choice! Everything is decorated amazing and nothing is wore down. The furniture is super clean!! It truly felt like a home away from home! Didn’t have that hotel vibe at all! The outdoor patio of the skyline was amazing and we loved the putting green! I will not only recommend but insist on anyone I know going to New Orleans to stay here over any hotel or airbnb! They were super accommodating with late checkout and storage lockers so we didn’t have to carry our luggage around till our flight late that night! Just a short walk to the casino!! Thanks for an amazing stay for my birthday trip! They also had a little welcome package with necessities and had beverages in the fridge to tie us over till we got to the store! Do not hesitate to book your stay here

Everything about our stay was excellent! We stayed in The Library and it was perfect! The unit and building felt safe and secure. Perfect walking distance to everything. Great restaurants and the casino are an easy walk. The unit itself had everything you would ever need plus more (like a sound machine!) The welcome drinks and snacks were perfect after a long travel day! I would highly recommend any unit in this building to anyone thinking of visiting New Orleans! Great communication from the entire team from start to finish! The luggage storage was huge bonus as well!

We stayed at a Maringy Management property on Baronne St. in NOLA this April 2023 and it was a really great experience. Inquiry questions and reservation was perfect. Check in was great because we were able to get in a bit early. The location was perfect, walking distance to the WWII museum. The place was spotless. We had all the amenities that we would need, coffee and creamer and all soaps and paper products and linens provided. The place had 4 big and VERY comfortable beds in the three bedrooms. Place was quiet and easy in and out. Would totally stay at this exact house and with the management company again. I'm glad we found them and didn't have to pay the extra $300 for an ABnB with the extra fees they tack on.

Jordan is fist class and truly knows how to take care of his clients. Love this guy, he is very knowledgeable about Nola real estate and how the short term rental market works. My place is always rented and he always gets top market. I think he is also a real estate agent.

Spent a holiday there with the whole family, was disappointed upon arrival. Pictures of the rooms were obviously taken when the place was just renovated, over ten years ago, now the rooms are not well kept. The bathrooms left a lot to be desired, just operating the shower heads was confusing, also some of the shower drains kept backing up, (standing in 2 inches of water while taking a shower was not pleasant).
The common areas were dirty with tools lying around, stairs were unsafe to walk up and down, especially if the were wet. The front of the place was was over grown with bushes .
Overall experience staying there was not pleasant.

If I could give his hospitality group zero stars I would. More specifically Brittany has been horrible. Lies is all I have received, beating around the bush, not abiding by their contract, among many other headaches. Your best bet is pay the extra money for a reputable hotel and avoid the hassle of people that think they know how to offer customer service.

I’ve stayed at multiple Marigny Management properties and I always have a wonderful stay! These short term rentals are clean, beautifully decorated, and well-maintained. Property management staff is helpful and responsive. Would highly recommend having this team manage your rental property.

I recommend finding somewhere else to stay while visiting New Orleans. Magazine Mansion has some of the worst service I have ever experienced in my life. I had booked this house, initially, for a festival but I realized it would be extremely unsafe to visit alone (especially since I am a young woman). I canceled on January 8th or 15th. I knew it may take 15 days to get my refund because I booked with my credit card. I waited 15 days and received nothing so I went and messaged the host. The host stated it wasn’t their job to get me my refund, but I had been sent their by the airbnb support so I explained that. I also explained I had already read their guidelines and understood that I would only receive back half of what I paid. I also stated that I had sent my refund request to them, which was their job(the hosts that is) to respond to. I legitimately could not get my 175.00 back unless it was approved by them. They then stated they were going into a dinner meeting (at 10 pm mind you) and wouldn’t be able to respond. And then, not even ten minutes later, my refund got denied by said hosts. What a coincidence right? They then went to shut off all forms of communication so I could no longer contact them. That’s why I am writing this review. I also have to note that I hadn’t realized this, but the bed I would have been staying in is literally in the middle of the kitchen. They truly are only in this for monetary gain so please, if you are looking for somewhere to stay, DON’T BOOK HERE. If you want to see all of the messages and screen shots I have just message me. I can also send over some places that are actually worth booking with.

The home was gorgeous! It’s very stylish, clean and well stocked. With an added bonus of plenty of tea and coffee. We could not have asked for a better location. Overall a wonderful place; we would stay here again, again and again! This place will not disappoint!!

Very professional business. Amazing experience from door to door and they were highly responsive. Not to mention the place we stayed at was stellar. They had a lot of good recommendations once we checked in and were very helpful with storing luggage since we arrived in NOLA a little earlier. Highly highly recommend them for your next vacation.

I loved the hosts and the layout of the HISTORIC building. There are multiple, unique, themed rooms.
The hot tub was awesome, but, I wish the hours of use could extend a little (after 10pm quiet hours). I get quiet hours, but considering the area out back is quite industrial and under a loud OVERPASS near the bridge anyway, I figure some leeway would be great.

My bed's mattress left something to be desired, so my back didn't particularly like the wood under it... probably my only complaint. It was a great deal, but we moved to a hotel suite the last day of our trip and it was a great improvement, sorry to admit.

They were very nice and the hospitality was A+.

The hosts are very easy to work with, they are so much fun and gave great advice on where to go eat, what to do. The stay was nice, clean and comfortable. I can’t wait to go back, this is my place to go when in New Orleans.

The unit was as expected. It was spacious, clean, and in a fabulous location. Jim was a fabulous host, and responded to a dryer issue in a timely manner. We LOVED our stay and look forward to booking w/them in the future!!

Beautiful location, the room was just what we needed! It was clean, I choose this room specifically for the tub with jets. I always do a wipe down with a Clorox wipe prior to getting in. There was nothing on the wipe! It was perfectly cleaned!
The check in with the auto lock is so convenient!
If you NEED no light to sleep just know there is quite of bit of light that comes through. But if you like a night light it’s perfect! It

I love staying here. It’s so convenient to everything. The rooms are so cute and the bed is super comfy. My biggest request is a comfortable bed and I have stayed on two different rooms here and the beds were great. I love how they have the hot tube and plunge pool combo so I can soak my tired muscles after a long day and then cool off in the pool with a glass of wine. I am trying to get a group of friends together to rent the whole place out. That would be a blast. Will continue to book here and refer friends

I enjoyed my time at the mansion. The owners and staff were friendly and accommodating. They provided me with information on attractions, places to eat and I also had a chef come and prepare food for us the last night of our stay. The room was clean with details that paid homage to the city and the history of the home. The hot tub was relaxing and just what we needed after site seeing. I can’t wait to come back and stay in the other 8 rooms! Great experience!

This place is AMAZING!!!!! Coolest vibe ever! Perfect for a girls getaway, couples escape or any event you can think of! The host are extremely accommodating, we were given a full tour of the facilities. Each room is super unique and has a different “feel” for whatever your wanting to experience. As a native of Louisiana that has stayed in New Orleans all my life this place is a MUST! Incredible!

It was a great hideaway. The room was everything i hoped for fancy, but not tight. The outdoor kitchen was perfect for cooking lunch prior to taking a dip in the hot tub with my glass of wine. everyone on the property were very nice, and never intrusive. It a home away from home, if you home was a super awesome chic hideaway. Oh! and its only steps away from downtown.

We booked an accommodation that was beautiful, and on the day of arrival were placed in a significantly lower standard accommodation. When we address this issue with the company, they told us that we were getting an upgrade. However we went from a 1600 square-foot second-story room with a balcony and fireplaces to a 1300 square-foot basement room with windows that were 8 feet above the floor you could not even see out of. The booking company had the correct reservation of what we were supposed to be getting, this company repeatedly told us and them that we were wrong. They would not admit they made any mistake.
Basically we ordered steak, the waiter brought us a burger and told us to deal with it... while telling us that a burger was an upgrade. Very frustrating.

Truthfully, if we had booked this room originally it was a nice room. (Despite a leaking kitchen faucet and constantly running toilet). The deceptive customer service is the issue that should be of concern.

The refrigerator was dirty. No extra trash bags. For a family of four it only had three face towels. The maintenance person should keep the grills clean. Had to clean the grills with clorex because using. The utensils and the draw was dirty. Pots and pans thrown all over in the cabinet.

Excellent management company! Very patient, and professional when guiding others on their new journey to management! Customer service is very welcoming! Michael and his team are excellent! Will recommend to others!

I cannot rate the actual house because we never stayed there however, I will gladly review the owner keeping our $2,500 deposit after jazz fest was cancelled due to covid this year. Granted VRBOs policies are to blame as well but imagine keeping $2,500 of someone else’s money and not rendering any services in the midst of a pandemic. Nice job you douche. Also, he specifically told us he would refund the deposit due to the circumstances (it’s not like we cancelled) and then went back on his word when he found he could make a quick buck based on VRBOs policy. Never using VRBO again and watch out for this guy. Real class act stand up guy!

We reserved this place through VRBO for the first weekend of Jazz Fest 2020. Due to COVID-19, Jazz Fest was cancelled and New Orleans was put on lockdown. VRBO recommended that owners give at least a 50% refund for all reservations cancelled due to COVID, but due to their policies, VRBO could not force owners to do so. The guy who booked the reservation for our group messaged the owner through the app, and the owner said he would refund 50% of our deposit. Despite that, he refunded a very small amount and then completely stopped responding to messages. It’s been about 1.5 months since our trip was supposed to happen, and after lots of time spent communicating with VRBO it appears we are going to get stiffed. Regardless of VRBO policy, the right thing to do would have been to provide a substantial refund given that our reasons for cancelling (the global pandemic) were completely out of our control, and half of our deposit was still a decent amount of money to make for NOT having anyone stay in the house. On top of that, the owner promising a refund and not delivering shows he’s not a man of his word. This owner should be avoided.

This place exceeded all expectations. This are not your average looking vacation rentals. Each room feels so personal and unique to each other with plenty of New Orleans charm. The complimentary treats and champagne is definitely a plus!

The service is excellent with the Airbnb’s very accommodating. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Staying at the properties of hospitality of New Orleans my family and I always leave with smiles. My friends love it too. The properties are accessible to many things in New Orleans including the French Quarter. I would highly recommend staying with hospitality of New Orleans.

We stayed at 734 Union Street a 3 years ago and then 1028 Kerlerec Street 2 yeara ago.
The accomodations are spacious and suitable for a small or large group. The locations are great and convenient for all the fun you would like to do in NOLA!

Easy access, great location! It was right near one of the blue bike stops and I biked around new orleans all week. Perfect spot just outside of downtown and the garden district is beautiful. Would definitely stay again

Jordan and his team are hands down the best property management company in town. All of their listings are clean and up to date. Their team is always on time and a pleasure to work with. I wish all property management companies were like this one!

This company is sloppy in the marketing and with business email practicing.

They pulled a large group of peoples public registration records for their airbnb management business, then proceeded to send an email out to ~100 something people without using BCC.

When this breach of privacy was pointed out, they proceeded to send out canned responses to address concerns calling it an "Unforeseen mistake"

Careful if you go with these guys. Privacy and confidentiality is not their strong suit.
