Very nice decor really gives you a small cafe feel. Shared a mix Veg platter and chicken shawarma with my wife. Both were good. I especially liked the falafel. A word of warning the spicy yogurt sauce is actually very spicy. I have a high spice tolerance but I was sweating after a few bits. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the baklava. It's a personal preference I don't like rose flavored anything. If you are someone who likes that flavoring then I am sure it would be enjoyable.
The Falafel House has become one of our favorite places. Friendly staff and great service deliver delicious food. Eat in and enjoy the Egyptian atmosphere or take out. Either way you will enjoy an amazing meal.

The food was super delicious 😋 The prices are very reasonable , the restaurant is super clean, the atmosphere is very pleasant. The place is unique, so many art , jewelry, beautiful things I was amazed 🤩 plus you can buy this stuff also. I bought amber soaked agar wood chips with fragrant, it smells so good 😊 and I love it. I was lucky to find this place . The food was authentic and was made delightfully delicious and also for take out food they used microwave safe containers, it was really nice , they care about their customers . The owner was very polite and friendly, he offered free sweet snack for me, baklava was very good, they have many varieties of this dessert. So I couldn’t wait to visit this place again.🥰

My family came here for the first time and immediately felt at home with the Egyptian decor and music. We ordered several dishes and everything was delicious. We closed with kunafa topped with goat ice cream, which we all loved. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. We'll definitely be returning
The atmosphere was so cozy! Lots of decorations but not too overwhelming, perfectly captured the vibe. Service was good and food was amazing. Spicy hummus and siracha sides are good with any meal! Recommend going here with a few friends for lunch.
Enjoyed the beef and hummus shawarma. The chips and drinks were also really good. The shawarma had very generous portions of meat and the flavor was tasteful.

Sooooooo happy I decided to check this place out! I'm Syrian so it's very hard to find a middle eastern restaurant that I would call authentic. This place brought me home! I felt like my mom was making the food! Everything from the soft, warm, fresh pita, the tender, juicy lamb gryo, to the tahini was so good! My husband had the shrimp and chicken gryo platter and finished every bite! My daughter had the chicken kabob plate and the chicken was super tender and full of flavor! The coffee also made me feel like I was home! 🙏 So grateful to have found this gem. To top it off I got a chance to talk to a family that was there also from the Middle East that reminded me of my family dynamic, which made me feel even more at home! This is one of those small little gems that make the best type of home made food! I will be back every chance i get when I come visit Jersey!
