Pros- They have variety of items so you can get pretty much all you need under one roof. Clean store!
Cons- Some items are overpriced comparing with Freshco, walmart, food basics
The food was good! However, I ordered the chicken 65 special and they over charged me for it. The person infront of me paid $8 while I had the exact same order and amount and I paid double. When I asked why they said that’s the price. If it wasn’t for that I would have gave 5 stars.
Very disappointed bought stuff from here for first time and chaat was covered with fungus, and when I went back dear, it look like they already knew about it and they’re just selling unhealthy stuff.
Health department should take a report about this

The store is good and well stocked. I bought 12 samosas from this place 2 days back and on reaching home, the packet had only 10 samosas (it could have been an error while packing), I called them yesterday to let them know about this and be more careful in the future, first someone listened to me and then transferred the call which got disconnected, not very promising and professional behavior, maybe you guys don't even bother to listen to complaints and try to act on them
Impeccable food and drinks along with an amazing staff members is all a customer wants and here I experienced same tbh. My experience with manager was super amazing. Glad to have a visit there.

Hello

Visited today and ordered 1 Plate chane bhathure and it was damn good and delicious.
Price - 8$ only and it includes 2 bhathure, Chane, Aloo sabji, Curd, Halwa, Salad and mint chutney. The quantity is amazing. Two person can easily get full by just eating one plate.
I just love it
Highly recommended

Regards,
Gursimran Kaur
This is the most worst place to visit… i bought tikki chana from here today.. and there was an insect🐜 in it… when i came back to show them.. instead of realizing their mistake they were blaming me that there is no way that an insect can enter in your food… like seriously… they were not ready to sccept their fault… very rude behaviour of the person who was desling with it.. an old healthy man.. they are maming everything in open air (stall) where anything can enter in your food… and can spoil your health…I suggest ever not to buy anything from here to eat… 👎👎
Went there and ordered poori and karha, it wasn't properly cooked, still raw. Atleast if you are making and adding something in the menu make sure it is properly made otherwise dont even bother to make the stuff. Other times we ordered food, it was so bad like gravy tasted same for every thing. Would not recommend to someone. whoever cooks, tell him/her to taste before serving.

I regret to report that my experience at Om India Food Store was lower than average. While they offer a wide range of Indian products, the service quality left much to be desired. Regrettably, the staff proved unhelpful during my visit, failing to assist with my inquiries or orders. Furthermore, their inaccessibility via phone due to a consistently full voicemail is a notable inconvenience. Consequently, I would strongly advise against this establishment unless it is absolutely necessary to get a specific item exclusive to their inventory.
I have bad experience especially for getting my Garba pass . During inquiry for Atul purohit garba , I called them and they told me that you will get 5 passes per person but when I reached at store they said we are only distributing 1 pass for each person. I think they should be clear about their distribution regarding the pass. I drove 46 kms just to get the passes and it turned so bad that i really got disappointment from them. Bad management.

Today, We had a very bad experience over there. Me and my friends went to buy rakhi and some kind of sweets and there was one lady i dont know her name, she was in red top and that lady was very rude to us. We justing looking for the sweets deciding what to buy. She just came and said yes, what you want. She dont even say ' hello' and she was behaving rudely with everyone over there. It was our first time we visit that store and dont like this kind of behaviour.
Thanks

Love the selection of ethnic items you get here. Last night I went there to get a specific product that I thought would be in the frozen section. A young associate that I approached very kindly searched with me. He then went that extra mile to find out if that product came packaged differently. And found it for me, tucked away in a corner. Hats off to this young man for his persistence and clear cut output towards positive customer experience.

This Indian grocery store is good. You gets almost everything you are looking for. Best recommendations for Gujarati and their needs/ requirements. Also the complete staff here is Gujarati.

They are helpful. I liked this store in Brampton compared to other Indian store.

The vegetables are also good comparatively but not easily all vegetables are available all the time which is sad at times.
It's the best indian grocery store around, extremely well organized, many items are discounted and well labeled. Vegetables are fresh and they keep on replenishing with fresh stock. Well managed store, highly recommend.

The store is amazing you can get all things at one place.but the restaurant staff(ladies cashier) is extremely rude to customers. They deal with customers in very rude way. They don't know how to behave with clients. So rude.I experienced so many times whenever I come to purchased their food. But, the store owner (lady) she was so nice . so for staff I am giving one star and for store I will give five stars.
Went there for Punjabi food. Everything was so yummy. But disappointed with Samosa’s. I think if the other food is so good they can make samosa more delicious, the peas were not cooked properly. Love the customer service. Tiffin roti’s was just like home.
One of the best Gujrati Indian Store. You get almost everything here at best prices. The vegetables are a bit overpriced in comparison to SOME stores. Best place to buy spices like turmeric powder, etc. coz they import it from India and grind it here in Canada which provides fresh and better quality.
1. Lower prices compared to other Indian grocery stores.
2. Fresh vegetables
3. Easy to navigate special discounts in store since they are labelled on the shelves. So I didn't bother looking at the Flyers. Good care has been taken care.
4. They have good point system for rewards
I recently purchased an open-box TV from Techspirit and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. The TV was in excellent condition, just as described, and the price was fantastic. The staff was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, making the whole process smooth and enjoyable. I’m thrilled with my purchase and the great service I received. I’ll definitely be a returning customer. Highly recommended!

Worst store ever. I bought indian biscuits which were having a foul smell. So I went back to inform them that the biscuits had smell and they should check their stock before sell to other people. The lady on the cash started misbehaving that throw it in the dustbin. She started telling me that they cannot return the money as I didnot have the bill. But I never asked her to return the money.
Be careful before you buy groceries.

Absolutely pathetic service. I was a regular customer of this place for more than 2 years.I bought one plate of Amritsari kulcha Chana. When I opened it, there was no kulcha in it. Instead, they gave me tandoori roti. I understand there could be errors so, I called them and asked if I should bring it back. They said I can have it and next time they would give me a credit. I agreed. The next time I placed an order for pavbhaji and Chana Bhatura. I did mention them about the error on there part at the time of previous order and the fact that they mentioned they would credit me. When I went to pick up the lady told me that she can only give me the piece of kulcha because the kulcha was switched with the tandoori roti. When I asked how to eat kulcha without Chana, she had no answer.

These people kick in discounts to increase customer base but then with such poor skills how can they expect they would be ever able to sell products at regular price. They would have to keep giving discounts otherwise people would stop coming to this place.

I travelled from Whitby to Brampton for Lord Ganeshji's murti which I had been booking from Om India every year for the last 8 years in Canada. A guy called BHAVIK was the one I dealt with today. He was so rude and had ZERO knowledge with regards to customer experience and customer service. First, he kept me waiting as apparently he was fighting with another customer who cancelled her Ganeshji booking as she had some issues with him. So I asked him can I see the murti she had booked since its cancelled? He said he can’t show that because he can't remove it from where it was kept. There were only 3 murti's left in 24 inches costing $380 which was a surprise to me as prices in past were never so high. Seems COVID has impacted all the areas of business, lol. Though, I selected 1 murti and he said I need to pay 50% advance? I had booked murti for the last 8 years by giving $50 or $100 as a mark of confirmation, but this guy was so rude and said this year he is been told to take compulsory 50% advance. I agreed to that also. Then he forced the murti has to be picked up 1 week in advance as I requested to pick up a day before Ganesh Chaturthi, which I have done all these years including Covid in 2020. I was looking for some known faces including Jayeshbhai (owner) or his wife who recognizes me by face to help me. But, Bhavik said he is the one in charge of Ganeshji booking and these are the instructions given to all customers & was boasting they have SOLD 350 murtis blah blah and there is nothing anyone can help me. Kind of take it or leave it.

I explained him GANESH festival is auspicious and we can not pick murti a week in advance as the ritual is to welcome GOD on the chaturthi day ( people who get Ganeshji knows very well) but this guy gave me a hard time , utter rude and finally I landed up leaving the store this year with out Ganeshji booking from OM INDIA.

I really hope this review is addressed by the owners and some corrective measures are taken and training given to Bhavik.

There are multiple options & stores coming up for our community with regards to shopping, so please check various options before landing to these kind of Indian stores who lack customer service or they don't think its important.

Absolutely blown away by the incredible flavors and quality of the food from this company! Every bite was a tantalizing journey of taste and freshness. The variety they offer is impressive, catering to every palate with finesse. From savory to sweet, they’ve mastered it all. 0% service standing there first in line but the employee took all the orders but not mine and i was standing there for like 30 min worst place to visit. Attitude problem basically. 🙃🍌
Pretty decent Indian grocery store. Check the expiration date for the items you buy since I’ve seen a few that were expired. They did provide a replacement for those items but it’s a hassle to have to go back for such things.
Good place to get Indian groceries. Lot of options for Indian stuff are available.
Assume and friendly service best groceries store around
Good Asia has variety of stuff available. They have Hawkins pressure cooker for good price. Prices are reasonable but can’t say it’s cheaper than other Indian stores.
I went there yesterday to get some fresh vegetables and some groceries. This place is fully stocked and cleaned. We got Chilli paneer gravy. Prices are good according to quantity. I was looking for Sardar jee pun pure Punjabi Dalia and Indian frootland has that.
After a year n multiple visits I can sum up .. avoid panchvati brand poha , their fast food stuff like samosa n all horrible .. cashier never smiles ( mostly guys ) . Recent : it’s ok you charge for bag but dude don’t know how many it will take at first place n you gotta help if you rushing to take next customer simple . Guy working in produce with tika is great n helpful

ONLY 1 WHEAT ATTA PACKET WAS THERE IN TOTAL AND ITS GROCERY STORE😂😂
I wish I could give 0star. The food quality is very very bad. They never ever serve fresh food. Almost , before2-3 month cooked food is serving. Don't eat and buy anything from this Indian restaurant waste ur money, time and health. I ordered making roti and sang they gave after eating , I got food poisoning and vomiting nd had to go to hospital. Still, did not recover. Hospital charged $4200. Because of this worst quality food. This restaurant should be banned. 🤮🤢🤬🤬🤬🤬😡😡😡😡🤛👊👊👊👊
Due to the employees' actions in the cashier positions, they received one star. Never offered to assist a client in packing their items in polythene, never thanked them for their purchase, and only made faces at them while displaying hostility. At the very least, they ought to be courteous, Completely pessimistic outlook.
I recently bought khaman from this place, and when I asked the cashier about the freshness of the khaman, she hesitated but assured me that it was indeed fresh. In a rush, I trusted her words and didn't check the contents of the box until I reached home. Upon reaching home and opening the box, I was shocked to find the khaman had spoiled coriander, resulting in a terrible taste and smell.

Buy vegetables and some specific items, and do not buy their packed food.

I recently visited the Punjabi Bazaar in India and had an absolutely fantastic experience. This bustling marketplace is a true gem that offers a vibrant cultural immersion for locals and tourists alike. From the moment I stepped foot into Punjabi Bazaar, I was captivated by the sights, sounds, and aromas that filled the air.

The first thing that struck me was the incredible array of shops and stalls selling all things Punjabi. From traditional clothing and accessories to spices, handicrafts, and everything in between, Punjabi Bazaar truly caters to every aspect of Punjabi culture. The vibrant colors and intricate designs of the items on display were a treat for the eyes.

The market is also a paradise for food lovers. Numerous street food stalls offered a wide range of delectable Punjabi dishes. I indulged in mouthwatering samosas, flavorful tandoori chicken, and the famous Amritsari kulcha, which were all simply outstanding. The aroma of spices wafting through the air made it impossible to resist trying a little bit of everything.

What impressed me the most about Punjabi Bazaar was the warm and friendly nature of the shopkeepers. They were not only knowledgeable about their products but also eager to share stories and insights about Punjabi traditions and culture. Their enthusiasm was infectious and added to the overall charm of the place.

Navigating through the narrow lanes of Punjabi Bazaar was an adventure in itself. The constant buzz of activity, with vendors and shoppers haggling over prices and bargaining for the best deals, created a lively and energetic atmosphere. It's a place where you can truly experience the essence of Punjabi life.

I would highly recommend visiting Punjabi Bazaar to anyone seeking an authentic and immersive cultural experience. Whether you're looking to buy traditional Punjabi attire, sample delicious food, or simply soak in the vibrant ambiance, this place has it all. Just be prepared for the crowds, as it can get quite busy, especially during peak hours.

Overall, Punjabi Bazaar exceeded my expectations and left me with unforgettable memories. It's a place that showcases the rich cultural heritage of Punjab and provides a unique glimpse into the daily lives of the people. Don't miss the opportunity to explore this lively market—it's an absolute must-visit when in India.
It's 10.25 pm and the store is closed, the least they can do is update their timings on Google. Waste of time

I recently tried the Friday special, Goat Biryani and it was a letdown. The dish lacked meat, was overly spicy, and contained large frozen chunks of mint and coriander leaves, resulting in an overpowering minty taste. I won’t be returning or recommending it to others. Improvement is needed in delivering the promised quality.

Indian Frootland is a unique gem that combines the convenience of a grocery store with the flavors of an authentic Indian restaurant. It has become my go-to destination for all my grocery needs, as well as a delightful spot to indulge in delicious Indian cuisine.

The grocery store at Indian Frootland is well-stocked with a wide array of Indian spices, grains, fresh produce, and specialty items. It's a haven for those seeking to recreate traditional Indian recipes at home. The shelves are organized and neatly displayed, making it easy to find what I need.

What sets Indian Frootland apart is its attached restaurant, where I can take a break from shopping and savor the flavors of Indian cuisine. The restaurant offers a diverse menu of mouthwatering dishes that cater to different tastes and dietary preferences. From aromatic curries to flavorful biryanis and delectable snacks, each dish is a burst of authentic Indian flavors.

The quality of the ingredients used in the restaurant is top-notch, resulting in dishes that are rich in taste and texture. The friendly staff members provide excellent service, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.

It's all in one store of all Indian food, masala's, vegetables, spiritual things and what not. I have observed that the vegetables are fresh here. There are many namkeen options available as well. Also we have sweets here. They also have a good counter where you can buy a delivery. We had ordered dahi balle and trust me, it was delicious. They also have meals available. It's a useful place. We also get her 'pan' we require for poojas.

Indian Frootland on Dusk - A Great Shop for Indian Food

Rating: ★★★★★ (5 out of 5)

Indian Frootland on Dusk is a great place to find Indian groceries. They have everything you need. You can find all kinds of spices, vegetables, and even a special section for meat.

This store is more than a grocery shop. They also cook food. After shopping, you can enjoy tasty Indian dishes.

What makes this store special is their customer service. The staff is friendly and knows a lot about the products. They help you find what you need.

I visited Indian Frootland yesterday and was very happy with my experience. If you like Indian food, you should go there. It's a great store.

I just bought dokla from them it’s expired nd weird smell coming from it … these guys always compromise with food quality. Very disappointed
Very good store with a lot of options from homeland India. All sections have a lot to select from. My friend's gastrointestinal problems are only cured by certain items and this store carries them. Good for him, no more gaseous incidents.
I am writing to inform you about a problem I encountered with a Vadilal Cassata ice cream I purchased yesterday. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the product. It was half in the box.

I believe it is important to bring this matter to your attention. I kindly request a replacement or refund for the faulty product.

Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. I look forward to your resolution.
I buy Indian mangoes in season. Bought “indian mangoes” last weekend from this store and they were the worst mangoes I have eaten in my life! They tasted so fake, almost like artificial fruit! Hayden or atulfo are much better! these people have no ethics or morals!

Be cautious as it happened on many occasions at the billing, they scan the items twice, also for vegetables the weight register is actually more than the product itself, cashier are highly trained to extort money from innocent people.
I have been here several times. The owner of this place is a nice guy and it is near to my home, so it helps me to get something quick for basic grocery. They have snacks as well, and they taste good. Only due to these reasons, I giving 3. Otherwise, they do not have a good variety of vegetables and groceries. The grocery items are a bit pricey. I can suggest this store if you want to get something for basic needs and whoever is nearby can go for emergency grocery items.

India Bazaar at Kennedy Road is a great grocery store where you’ll find your veggies, lentils, packaged snacks, and dairy products. Price is decent and variety is great.

They also have a restaurant inside that serves delicious snacks, meals, and sweets. I tried their chole bhature & they were good (Cost $8.99).
Today they have lots of offers like Sher atta at 13.99.for indian people or who like eat bread roti.they can take profit.go and pick the things on reasonable price
I bought their different flavours of ice creams several times and every-time it is bad in taste and separated from the container itself specially paan pasand and desi- licious flavours. The product is not good itself please check the product quality & see the photos itself to verify. No doubt it was sealed all the time.
I told the same to the cashier but she refused even to listen up my complain. Please dont sacrifice with your health by buying this product.

I’ve visited many grocery stores in the Mississauga and Brampton area and have found this to be the best one so far. The store is well-stocked, clean and well-maintained. The staff was friendly too. They have a wide variety of products and different brand options of the similar items. The fruits and vegetables were fresh, I’m not sure about the prices though.

The best thing about the store is the small bakery/restaurant section. I tried the Chana Samosa and oh my it was worth every dime. 5 🌟 for the Chana Samosa, it was absolutely delicious.

I would definitely be back here to try different items on their menu.
Worst experience i ever had with these people
Wish i could give them negative rating. First they write indian aamla for $0.99 per lbs and at the counter they charge $7.99 per lbs and we purchase these jeera bottles. When we came at home and check these bottles they were already expired then we check all the grocery 60% of that was already expired. So they are selling expired grocery at higher rates

Selling expired Products.
Best before date 30 Nov 2022
Sold date 23 March 2023.

This is not the first time it has happened. What can i say more .
We found some real good offers at this store when we entered just to take a look. They have good variety of stuff and most are reasonably priced.
I was very disappointed with the food. I ordered Kadhai Paneer, or I should say Capsicum Kadhai. There was only gravy and green pepper in the Kadhai paneer. In addition, the Kadhai paneer didn’t look fresh at all. There were only 4 pieces of paneer in a medium bowl. Overall, very bad experience.
I recently discovered that Om India grocery store in Brampton carries one of my favourite snacks from Vadodara, Gujarat. Wanted to share this with individuals who recently moved to Brampton/Toronto that the famous lilo chavdo from Jagdish farsan mart is now available in Canada!!
Great place to settle your craving for Indian food. Buffet was reasonably at good price and big menu to choose from. I loved to experience a robot serving food in the restaurant. Buffet has variety of starters salads main course and deserts. South Indian North Indian both cuisines were to offer. Their grocery store has some Himalaya products too like Liv-52 etc. Loved this place .
Good shop for Indian items. Prices are reasonable too. Wide varieties of foods such as Balaji wafers, Patanjali Items, Indian vessels, masalas, Gujarati khakras, lots of indian snacks, Pooja items, etc. You will also get lots of vegetables, Everest and MDH spices amongst others.

Also they have ayurvedic items such as Tulsi powder, Amla, methi, sikhakai powder, etc. They sell coolers, copper glass and jugs as well as other types of vessels. Good place to find all basic stuff.
I wish I could give negative stars. I bought some stuff and the guy at counter didn’t give me bill. I waited for 2 mins and he’s be like I don’t exist there and started talking to the lady standing besides him. I left the store and checked the bag at home and found 5 things missing.
Neat and clean store. Reasonable price somosa and food is good.Great customer service. You can get everything one stop store. Recommend…

Good place to find local Indian delights especially snacks. The sweets/mithai during Diwali is extremely fresh and priced well. On regular days, sweets are also good. Their best thing are the large samosas with green sauce and jalebis. The thalli is okayish.. the parking area is always busy.
A great Indian store with all variety of items.. Produce (veggies) are highly priced than other stores, and goes bad very soon. Nevertheless, a go-to store always.. :)

A massive Indian shop that carries anything from Puja samagri, fresh produce and frozen items. Also carry a wide range of household n beauty products. Found everything we were looking for at this 1 spot, moreover the shop is clean.
Very Bad experience in terms of customer service, high product prices as well expired products on the shelves. I am sharing one product which was already expired and still they are keep selling and whole rack was like that......

Guys be aware of below points if you are going or thinking to go in this store

(1) They remove expiry date of the product using chemicals, if product is already expired and put white sticker on that

(2) Make sure you got charge right amount for the product and only once

(3) Make sure check counter area and all items which paid going inside your bag

(4) No customer service, you have to wait or call someone to help you at the counter otherwise even though they see you standing at the cash counter still they don’t care

(5) Employees are bad and selling expired products. Most of the products are over prices compare to other stores…..

(6) Please check each item’s expiry date before you buy it and be careful expiry date has to be manufacture company printed………… They erase the original expiry with chemical and put the small expiry sticker ( don’t buy it) if you see any private label or sticker on the product with all other details still don’t buy it because they use those labels to cover original expiry and product details…..

(7) I think we all should have register a complaint against them in Ontario Health and Safety department….

(8) I was checking the reviews and I found out so many people complained about the points I mentioned here

Very disappointed by the visit- store is ok but the way one of the lady at the store was treating her employee was really pathetic. Not sure why she was yelling on the guy- but that reminds me that still we are still living in old mentality despite being here in Canada. I will not visit this store again where people are not treated like people. I understand there is inflation but prices are very comparatively high than other Indian stores.

Some Items here are priced little more than all nearby grocery stores.

Bought Kenard Mangoes from here paying 14.99 , Its very sour and useless.
Definitely not going here for Mangoes again !
I do not recommend. I went ro buy Veggie Noodles and they did not even care to provide the basic service! No side ketchup and no fork at all! The staff was acting all rude for no reason as well. Restaurants are all about great customer and food satisfaction, and THIS IS NOT IT!
This store is not too big but they have everything it’s always tidy and they also have sweet and veg and non-veg cooked food. Food counter I guess it’s was almost closing time so the ladies were putting everything away in the cooler so I am guessing they don’t really waste anything, which means not everything is made daily. While she was putting food trays away an item from the try fell on the counter glass counter (counter did not look clean) she just put it back on the tray. I was like what are you doing but she didn’t understand me. Not going back for cooked food.

Customer service is very poor, cashiers doesn’t even greet customers n put groceries in bag, some of the items are placed in wrong shelf, if you tell cashier about what being charged doesn’t match with price on shelf
“As per cashier this the price n customer should read before buying. N there is no one to help n she can’t do anything if someone stock at wrong place.she is just cashier “ and I have seen same girl stocking items on shelf many times.
There is one cashier there who is always so rude n never put all the groceries in bag n you have to ask her for total all the time before you pay
Just because of their customer service I wouldn’t want to go to this store n wish I could give 0 star.
One of the best place to buy Indian groceries in Meadowvale area. The store has plenty of local items. If you are looking for something which you can not find anywhere. Do visit this place as it is full of grocery items.

There is restaurant in the store and you can try out food, snacks and sweets.
Favourite grocery shop in Brampton. Always the Freshest produce. Has a great selection of spices. Fair prices and can buy all the produce needed for the week for under $20. Carries most authentic food items. Staff are very helpful and quick to cash out.

Worst place .. worst customer service.. Counter girl was soo rude and she was like a kid .. no humbleness just pure attitude.
I bought Rakhi 2 days ago and when reached home saw it’s defected I went back and asked to just replace it. We don’t do replace you might used it. Use common sense it was fully packet rakhi is 3 weeks away.
There is no sign written that they don’t exchange or replace .
When asked for owner she just gave attitude.
Never buy stuff from here .
I will make formal customer service complaint with peel on there worst service and store stuff.
We just went for the fresh sugar cane juice that they sell outside. What a great experience. Never seen anything like this in North America. The sugar can juice was delicious and the entire process was so entertaining. Would go again for the juice. FYI- we don’t know anything else about the place, other than the fact that the cooked food prices are super duper cheap
