Just had the most wonderful shopping experience here. Was greeted by a really happy staff member who was lovely and helpful while I was in the store. The store is filled with beautiful produce. Lots of lovely Asian food supplies and they were stocked up with a fantastic selection of supplies for Passover. It’s so unusual to receive such warm and happy customer service in a grocer these days. Definitely do your shopping here!!

I went shopping last night with my mother and there is a woman who has been working here for many years and she works very hard and she is very nice with all the costumers. But unfortunately, they hired a new employee whose name I read is Angela. She doesn't good communication with customers, and she talks very badly with her co-workers. She even talks to her co-workers in her own language. she did not have a good relationship with this lady, she spoke rudely and avoid her and spoke loudly, not even with me, not even with the people around me. I don't know why the authorities don't take care of this issue. Angela even became aggressive that my mother was even afraid of Angela.

Last night we went shopping with my child. there was a lady whom I have known for many years. She is a very nice lady, she works very well whenever we need help, she helps with a happy face, she is always smiling. And her name is Horiaynaz .And another old woman that I think she is new. Her name is ANGELLA that she was standing in self-checkout. Horaynaz many times she asked this lady, she did not answer her at all, and she spoke bad words in her own language to her. I want the manager in charge to deal with this lady Angela and give her a warning because my child was scared because she spoke very badly. This person must be warned. This is a shopping place and the person who is working should treat their colleague with respect. She did not show any respect for his colleague and that she spoke very badly in front of the customers and that This person must be warned or this person is not suitable for this Coles.

A decent classic Wpoleorths. Although the parking can be an issue, as the carpark is a squeeze.

Poor and rude customer service , especially at the check out. Just because my parents do not speak English, staffs gave them bad attitude, even my parents greeting the staffs in English and said thanks to them, they just gave no response and not even a smile .

Nice selection of kosher food. Glatt kosher meat under Orthodox supervision. This is a far better selection and more clearly marketed than in the Woolworths in Lane Cove. However the kosher availability is better in the Eastern Suburbs: e.g. Krinsky's. b'tei avon.

St Ives Woolworths is not only my go-to local shop, but it has become a favorite for several reasons. The friendly staff, consistently fresh products, and convenient location make every shopping experience enjoyable. Recently, during a house move, I needed carton boxes for my kids' toys and books. The staff, particularly Eddy, went above and beyond in assisting me. Eddy's effort in sourcing perfectly sized, clean boxes not only met our needs but also aligns with our family's commitment to environmental consciousness, leaving both parents and kids delighted. Big thanks to the st ives Woolworths team.

Bought two boxes of prawns, but very bad smell, it is off! They shouldn’t sell it! Even after I cooked it, the bad prawn 🍤 smell are still there, throw is away!
I bought it at 6:00 pm on 26/11/2023
The expiry date is 27! They shouldn’t sell those products! So bad experience!

Self checkout area is too small & under resourced during busy periods. Woolworths needs to improve their self checkout software which has their customers standing around waiting for the attendant to reset. Pathetic effort at a self checkout Woolworths !!!

Checkout is a shamble!
Need more self checkouts, and staff who are awake to control flow.
It's just simply ridiculous that you have people queueing down aisles, and in the meantime, others pushing in, and using the "do u know who I am", or ,"but I'm in a hurry" cop out!
Lift your game coles....
Woman working at self service at 10:30am 2nd of August was so blatantly rude, my card declined and she rolled her eyes and said “maybe only pay for what you can afford” im appalled by her behaviour especially as she looked like a senior staff member
Can get busy at times but always plenty of registers available. Stock levels always up.
Great selection of fresh foods available. Friendly helpful staff.

Not the biggest or freshest Woolworths, but unfortunately it is my closest for the basics. Very hard to shop here with empty shelves and large packing carts left in front of many of the aisles without any staff around. My biggest issue however, is that in my last 2 visits I have seen a very dishonest practice with the self checkout machines… for fresh produce I assume it recognizes the colour to give options, with the initial options often being the most expensive and likely less bought goods eg. I was buying bananas and every other fruit/vegetable including the more expensive lady finger bananas were on the initial menu, making me have to swipe a few more times to get to the cavendish bananas. How many customers are you trying to rip off with this sneakiness. I implore others in this area to avoid this shop.

Very bad customer service from the female staff over the customer service counter in Sydney St Ives store. There is a promotion from Oral B which allows us to get a Pro 100 electric handle when buy a 6-pack of brush heads. When we were trying to get the free electric handle together with a 6-pack of brush heads, the lady firstly said there wasn't such an in-store promotion and she had never heard of it. After I showed her the promotion poster, she said I needed to buy SIX 6-pack of brush heads to get the free Pro 100 handle. Then after I corrected her, she found the terms&conditions of the promotion on the poster which states the promotion ends on 11/1/2022 or while stocks last. She insisted the promotion already ended one month ago. But clearly I was eligible for the free Pro 100 as there was enough stock. She acted as if I don't speak or understand any English. She still refused to offer the free handle. She had been very rude and impatient the whole time. I don't know if this is the way how she normally serves customers or she was just being discriminated against Asian face. My question here, why can't we get the free handle which we are absolutely eligible for and why do we have to suffer from such bad customer service?

Very small woolworths. Probably excellent for older people who don't want to walk long isles. Full of happy people who shop here regularly. Parking very full on Sat morning. Disabled parking spaces all full and there were not many of them near to main shopping centre doors. Selection of goods basic. Coles at Turramurra far superior! Coles has poor disabled parking arrangements.

Excellent fruit and veg, with samples to taste what's in season. They are very friendly and welcoming and sweet with kids. I appreciate that they offer suggestions and help me pick the right ripeness for my picky avocado-a-day daughter. It's also very clean, which seems increasingly important. I really love this place.
Great quality fruit and the team are always helpful and friendly. They welcome you in and offer fruit for kids and ensure you get what you need. Definitely worth always getting your fruit from them

The red apples are a winner for my husband. He is not a big fan of apples or other fruits but finally I convinced him to give one a try. He tried one and said it's very sweet, it's like having a treat. He is now going to have 1 apple a day from St Ives Greengrocer. Yay !
The queen garnet plums are delicious too. Look forward to trying more of the gorgeous fruits here.

WOW! Ive never seen such good looking fruit and veg in my life. It's pretty convenient that it's not in the Village, having the butcher and fish shop very close by. Great store layout and the owner was very welcoming and nice.

I hope this store can thrive on this side of Mona Vale Rd!
Hopefully this shop survives where many others have failed. Great fruit and veg on the eastern side of Mona Vale Rd. Which means I don’t have to go the awful St Ives village shops as much.

We now have a good-great butcher, greengrocer, pizzeria and fishmonger on the eastern side. All we need is a decent burger joint and a quality restaurant and I’ll never have to go to the village again.
