I have to call almost every day at work and I'm on hold waiting for someone to answer 10 to 20 minutes every time. Then a cab never comes 25% of the time and when they do come it takes an hour or more for them to show up. Not a good look or us or yellow cab to my clients.

Worst service ever! If i can even not put the one star I would! BAD transportation never show up on time! My parents use this through medicade transporation and they never show up on time we had to cancel/ reschedule urgetnt appointments and they don’t answer the phone

Booked a taxi, given the option to pay by card at the end of the ride. Driver said the computer was broken multiple times and claimed he could only take cash. Proceeded to drive me around town with the meter going just to get cash. Ended up paying $10 extra and running late.

Took an hour after the call from Rickenbacker to be picked up. Cab was dirty & the cabbie has to stop before my destination to fill his gas tank. A ride from Rickenbacker to Campus View/23 area cost $75.

Called for cab, showed and ask me to pay my cash up front … don’t taxi go off a meter ??? Asked if I was paying cash before he arrive just to tell me “he said pay up front “ an he didn’t say that’s on the phone. Never exp taxi service like this

At my place of work we utilize this business as part of the National Safe Place Program that helps ensure youth in the community have resources or a place to go when in crisis. This cab service will either not answer our calls, make youth wait long periods of time for a ride, or just won't show up at all leaving youth stranded. This is unacceptable and I don't understand how incidents like not showing up at all go unnoticed.

Everytime I book a Yellow Cab to take me to the Airport about one time a month .
I tell customer service that I am using a Card they tell me okay and the last 7 times when being dropped off at the Airport they tell me only cash the cab attendant.
But when I am taking an cab from the Airport they accept card .
Very frustrating now I know why people take Lyft and or Uber
I will not book a cab from my house again

I called ahead and asked how much the ride would be and they said specifically 25 dollars...he then proceeded to charge me 40 dollars....?!

Trying to get in my parking spot at my apartment when this Cab was blocking my parking spot while I’m pretty sure the driver was buying dr*gs. Tried calling the Company and was sent to VM multiple times. This company has always been very unprofessional and the driver are NEVER where they should be… This was a very inconsiderate move and I’m pretty sure no one is going to do anything about it…

I called them the kept asking for my location after I had told them multiple times. Then they said it will be 20 mins , 20 mins passed I called them back and they didn’t even send a car out to me they then asked for my address again to finally send a car out

We arrived at the Columbus airport at 2:00am and were waiting for my hotel shuttle. When it didn't arrive I called the hotel and was told the shuttle was not available and I should take a cab and that I was to tell the cab driver that they were to come to the lobby and that the clerk would pay the taxi fare.
We got into an "Orange cab" and relayed the instructions to the driver. The driver became enraged and demanded that we pay him 20.00 cash for the 2 mile ride or "get out of the cab". He spoke broken english and was irate and even refused to turn the meter on. Since it was 2:00 am and we were dead tired and the cab pick up area was deserted, I agreed to pay the 20.00 even though I knew that I was being extorted. We arrived at the hotel within 3 minutes and as we got out I asked for a receipt. The guy handed me a small stub from another taxi service that had nothing on it .....no date, no driver name and no amount. When I asked the driver to fill out that info he refused. At that time the hotel clerk came out and told me not to pay the driver and he further told the driver that if he wanted to be paid he needed to come inside and he would pay him. The driver was irate but eventually went inside and got paid a reasonable amount for the 3 min ride. The clerk later told me that this type of things happens a lot with this cab company.

the worst place I have ever experienced in my entire life, I waited for 30 minutes and then some guy called me back saying his at downtown that's like 30 minutes away. he asked me how many people needed the taxi, I told him me and my kids, he said " no husband" I

Every single time I call for a ride they literally ask for my address and information just to tell me they don't have any available ? Literally every time. And one time I actually waited for over 45 minutes because I was surprisingly told there would be a ride coming to get me and after I got tired of waiting over time I called back and the same man got irritated because I asked if the ride was actually coming and that I'd been waiting and he hung up on me smh. I don't understand why they advertise rides and especially ask for personal information all for nothing. It's a little too much and suspect as well as BAD BUSINESS. 🤷🏽 ( I guess they consider whatever it is they do business ? 👀😒🤨 ] Smh. Just use Lyft. It's CHEAPER AND NOT A WASTE OF TIME AT LEAST. Maybe even Uber but I heard Uber is even more expensive than Lyft.

These people here are not truthful what so ever. Give your money to a honest company. Spoke to one guy, gave him the address from where I'm at to where I'm going, he says $25 I said I only have $20 and he said he has no choice he will take it.. He sent someone else to pick me up just for me to get in the car and asks me the address to where I'm headed twice.. After giving him the address he says this is 22miles and I'm like OK.. He then says "it's going to be more than $20" Me: What do you mean? "It will be $50" I told him contact the guy that answered the call and I provided him with the same address I gave to him. While he's calling he does a U-turn.. Then asks me for my nationality.. What does my nationality have to do with anything? He goes to speak with the guy who I originally spoke to and there they go making up their own prices, lying saying he thought the location was in Polaris?! Prices he was coming up with was different from first, second, third price. He said $60, $70 ... How you go from $20 to $50, $60, $70?? Very Unprofessional. Stay away from these people. Crooked

OSU PARENTS DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. NOT SAFE. I booked this ride in advance for my college age daughter. Owner quoted $30 from OSU to CMH airport. I asked if they took credit cards and he said yes. Ride scheduled for pick up at 5:15am Driver showed at 5:00am and when my daughter got in car all of a sudden fare was now $35 and he would only take cash. My daughter could literally see the square credit card machine up front. He drove her to an ATM at 5am in a high crime area and forced her out of the car to get cash! She was by herself and felt unsafe. They put my daughter in a very vulnerable position! Scamming behavior and taking advantage out of young people!

This morning one of those companies vehicles while having its left turn signal on cut off five other vehicles while slicing through three lanes of traffic to the right on 161. The driver then proceeded to cut off two more vehicles going to the right with his left turn signal still on at the stoplight to get on to Sunbury Road. After which point I’m assuming he realized he was going the wrong way as he U-turned in the middle of the street, not even at the stoplight. As a matter of fact he never turned off his turn signal until right before he made the U-turn in the middle of the street almost hitting two other cars.
When informed about this driver, the people at this location stated that even though he was driving around in one of their vehicles, with one of their identification numbers, with the phone number to this location listed on it and everything else indicated he worked for them; they said he didn’t work for them.
What is funny, is that I initially gave them the wrong number by mistake for the drivers identification on the car; and they said that driver no longer worked for them. When I gave them the correct number they kept up the statement, meaning that no matter who this person was; they “weren’t going to work for them.“
Their behavior in the phone was rude beyond words and overall goes to show that there is not culpability or responsibility internally for the danger posed to your lives externally with this company.
Rider beware.

Horrible service, inconsiderate and rude driver. I was in a walking boot recovering from surgery and needed a ride to my hotel 0.5 miles away. It was after shuttle hours (flight arrived at 1:00 am) so the hotel informed me that if I took a cab, they would reimburse the driver. When I got in the cab, the driver complained at me the entire ride that he waited for hours in the cab line and the hotel is “right there”. I repeatedly told him that I have a broken ankle and CANNOT WALK, especially with luggage at 1:00 am. Unbelievable. When we got to the hotel, he didn’t provide a receipt or business card for the staff working at the front desk even though they asked him multiple times and told him it is standard procedure. The hotel staff ended up paying him a random amount of cash. Worst cab experience I have ever had.

I called at 12:12 pm yesterday and asked for a cab to be at my house by 2:00 pm and he said “no problem we will be there by 1:45” and he asked for my address etc... later on it’s 2 pm and I’m calling (no answer with my luck) put the final call before I was just about to leave at 2:12 pm says he’s five minutes away and I said okay 2:25 rolls around i call again “oh he’s five minutes away” and I said no he’s not you said this at 2:00 it’s been two hours you could’ve had this figured out . Meaningless to say this cab service is a complete lie and do not trust. If you notice most of the reviews are from Primarily middle eastern people. Take it how you take it . Will never call again for services . Big waste of time . Had to call off due to this issue .

Worst experience ever. The dispatcher had a hard time understanding. But finally said a driver would call me. 15 min past time I called them back. He said driver went to the wrong location...but didn't bother to call me. Apparently just went on with his day. So they sent another driver. This one called me but did not identify himself. Just said "Hey...where you at?" My grandson got in the cab but it didn't move although they knew he was already going to be late for work. So I went out to see what the problem was and had to tell the driver how to get to the location.

These guys are awesome! I don’t usually write reviews, but this was a really positive experience for me. I came to Columbus for the first time, and they arrived within 5 minutes of me calling. I would definitely recommend them!

I left something in the cab, and found it impossible to get anyone on the phone to try to recover my lost items. I didn't have much choice on which cab I took since it was from the airport, but I think next time I'll allow someone else to take an Orange cab and wait for some other service. Absolutely poor customer service.

I wish I could give this place zero or negative stars. Whoever was driving cab #012 between 10:45am and 11am today (May 2nd) almost freaking hit me on 270 North! They were switching lanes without a turn signal, and got into the left lane that I was in and almost hit me because they clearly weren’t checking their blind spots! I had to lay on my horn and slow down because if I was going a tad bit faster they would have hit me! This person seriously needs fired and their license needs taken away in my opinion.

Have had serval bad experiences with this company!very unprofessional, will pick up as many people as possible and LEAVE others waiting , even when the put down a time for pickup. I have literally waited over a hour past my scheduled pick up time, unacceptable. If I could leave zero stars I would or at least half for SOME of the nice drivers. I have even missed appointments all together dealing with this company. Do yourself a favor and take public transportation...it's definitely more reliable.

Totally recommend that you give Express Taxi of Columbus a try. They are very reliable and I've counted on them numerous times to drive me from my home to John Glenn Airport. If they are even a few minutes behind schedule, they will call you and advise their time of arrival.

Set up for a cab pick up this am for 0430 for a 0615 flight two days prior and confirmed it.This morning noone was there at 0430. Called at 0435 and he was "on his way". At 0445, my best friend who was traveling with me, had to wake her husband and two young kids so they could take us to the airport to keep us from missing our flight. Professionalism is questionable when considering a reliable transportation company. Would not recommend Express Taxi.

I waited a day to write this so that my anger would dissipate.
I wanted to give my wife a special night out by taking her to dinner and to her first live hockey game. After reading the favorable reviews regarding their service I emailed Express Cab with details the week before our night out and they responded with a reasonable quote for the night.
The day before I emailed them to confirm our itinerary, mentioning that we would need picked up no later than 4:30pm because our dinner reservations were for 5p. Their response: "Thanks for ur (sic) reservation we will take care you on Monday and make sure driver is there for you , thanks again".
The evening of, I called at 4:25 to verify that their driver was on his way. I was assured that he was. At 4:34 I called again inquiring as to the status of our pickup and was told "the driver will be there any minute now". I reminded him that we had dinner reservations.
At 4:45 I called a third time, angry now, and told the dispatcher to cancel the pick-up, that I was going to drive myself. He started making excuses but I cut him off saying "this conversation is over".
We salvaged the evening as best we could. I found a garage to park in not far from the restaurant and arena but with my wife's bad hip she was in pain after the long walk from our parking spot... which was the main reason I had reserved the a taxi in the first place.
If it were possible to give these people zero stars or a negative number, I would. If you are looking for reliable, dependable service from a company that places great value on customer service, steer clear of Express Cab.

Horrible horrible experience. The woman on the phone rushed me off and didn't even take my name, phone number, or full address. She was just rude! I would not risk using them since my details were not even taken down correctly.

I had taken a cab from here just after I got back from the Greyhound Bus Station recently. They were the only available taxi that I did not have to wait for, so I decided "why not" because I just wanted to get back home. So I tell the driver where I needed to go and the guy apparently can't understand a thing I said. He kept saying "what is the street name". I literally said the address more than five times before this other guy shows up and asks me where I wanted to go and after ONE time telling this other guy, he told the driver where to go in a couple simple steps. Had I known about that, I could have given him a street to follow to the destination. I am not entirely familiar with the area, but I'm sure I might have been able to tell him how to get there. What was pretty bad was that the driver did not have a gps, which would have made the experience 100x better if he had one.
If that wasn't stressful enough, the driver drove probably past the speed limit on normal roads (I'm not sure if this is a normal taxi thing, but I'm more concerned about safety?) and nearly missed a turn to get on a road.
Needless to say, I don't recommend just randomly taking a cab, call for one (I do not recommend this company) and MAKE SURE they have a gps or a basic understanding of direction. Save yourself a headache and excessive stress.

Very disappointed in this company. I pre-arranged 2 taxis to pick up for a birthday surprise. After waiting 45 minutes past the pick up time, we had to call. They said they would be 10 minutes. After 30 more minutes we called and they said they would be there in 5. By this point we just told them to forget it. Would never use (or try to use) this company again.
