Attended a birthday party here. Everything about this restaurant is good. The food tastes great; however, a bit on the spicier side (we don't eat spicy food). If you're in the area and looking for some Pakistani food then this place is worth a try.
This place is off the beaten path, but it's a hidden gem. I really like this spot. The owners are welcoming, the service is prompt and the food quality is wonderful. Everything is freshly made and I always leave completely satisfied. I will always support this business. 😋😋😋
If you want great quality Pakistani food with a great atmosphere to go with it, then Badshah Grill is the place to go. The food is always delicious and the service is always excellent. These guys pay attention to every single detail and keep the restaurant in perfect condition. It's always an amazing experience for the whole family.
Amazing ambience, beautiful furniture and decor. The club sandwich was amazing, the chicken was fresh, so was bread. The fries were tasty as well. We also got a separate order of tandoori wings which were the tastiest we had in a long time.We want last time as well and got the Nihari, which was well spiced.
Today was our first time visiting Chapli Kebob. Bakha took our order and helped us. His service was great. Now, as for the food: It’s fantastic ! We both ordered the waziri tandoori kebob, but they ran out of beef shami so he suggested Chapli in its place, but we asked if we could just get more chicken tikka. The additional chicken was provided at no extra cost. The food is sooooo good. Since Afghan Kebab on burhamthorpe closed we were looking for something comparable and I would definitely say the quality of the food is excellent. The chicken was cooked just right, not overdone. Rice and fries were both delicious and the salad was fresh. Afghan bread was so yummy. We will definitely be back. Thanks for the great experience Bakha! The restaurant is also clean and well lit.

First time here. For $20 a dinner, not worth what I received. The meat portions were far too little in comparison to the amount of rice the dinner take out container had. I feel like I paid for a few cubes of chicken and a little of kabob, only to receive rice that can feed three people if I’m not mistaken. Additionally, the kabob didn’t have the Bamiyan kabob authentic taste, and the rice contained too much sodium.

Bamiyan Kabob is the best I tried in the city of Mississauga, food taste delicious and always fresh and hot from the oven, the ambience is good, suitable for all family members, prices are reasonable, overall, I would eat there again.
I wouldn’t recommend coming here if you are looking to try something new! The service was not good, the guy at the front counter didn’t even seem to want to be there himself. I ordered the number 7 and when it came out it looked great but when I bit into the lamb it tasted not cooked properly so I went and asked if I could get it replaced, the man at the counter gave me a dirty look and told me I could not get something new without paying! At any restaurant I’ve been to in the past they have always replaced my meal or gave me a refund. I left hardly touching my food, this place needs to learn about customer service! I’ll give the food negative 1 and the service a negative 1 don’t come here 😂
We went on a public holiday, early evening and the place was not very busy. We ordered food and waited 10 minutes or so. The tables are ripping apart, some of them taped. The bathroom sink was broken and there was a white towel hanging to under the sink to keep it from flooding. The place where people had kept their empty trays was full. Herati kabab was good, tender and juicy. Sultani kabab was overdone and hard like rubber. Chapli kabab was okay. The worst part was the chicken wrap, I specifically asked the person on cash register about the meat in the rolls and was told they use shawarma meat. What actually was in the wrap was chicken mince, loaded with pickles. The meat and pickle ratio was actually 5-50. I only found out after the rolls were half done, else would have asked the manager/supervisor what was going on and where is the shawarma meat. The last time we had food here, food & service was five star and portions and quality was amazing. What happened?
I had an excellent experience at this restaurant! It's incredibly convenient, and the owner is very friendly, welcoming, and understanding of customers' needs. They provided great assistance in selecting delicious and reasonably priced dishes. The food was delicious, and the delivery service was prompt. Highly recommend!

On August 2, 2023, at 2:30 PM, I had the pleasure of visiting this delightful restaurant in Mississauga, following a friend's recommendation. The ambiance exudes a remarkable charm, and the customer service provided by two staff members was truly exceptional, surpassing all expectations. The culinary experience was nothing short of delightful; the kababs, nihari, and lamb karahi were all exceptionally delicious and flavorsome. Without a doubt, this restaurant deserves a five-star rating for its outstanding offerings and overall excellence.
We got taken out by the Afghan husband of a friend to an Afghan restaurant. We were the only white people in the place, which is usually a good sign. I took the Tandoori chicken and it was the best I've ever eaten. Don't let the barely translated menu scare you. I sampled every plate and it was all good. Reasonably priced.

Did family event here for 50 people. Tayyab and his team from start to end managed everything really well. Service was great. Food was super fresh and delicious. Lahori channay, fish, firni were highlights of the lunch. Everything else was delicious. Got so many positive comments from my guests on doing a great event.
Will definitely be hosting more functions there. Great food and experience. Highly recommended.

The food looked good, I ate only white rice and kabob. Unfortunately, the food was too spicy for me. If you can't handle spicy food I don't recommend eating here but if you enjoy a little spice good food. Party of 46.

First time here. Food was on point especially the Kabuli rice and lamb shank dish. Super flavorful, moist and yummy. Would definitely recommend. Simple yet flavorful.
I randomly came here with my husband. We were supposed to get a very late breakfast in the same plaza but I saw the sign for Kebab Bistro and my mind instantly changed. We came in and there were a few people eating inside the very cozy restaurant. The young gentleman behind the counter was very pleasant to deal with.
I chose the KB-1 KEBAB BISTRO SPECIAL which includes 1 Tandoori chicken kebab, 1 classic chicken kebab and 1 ground veal shish kebab. I’ll be honest, I just looked at the photo and saw FOOD and didn’t necessarily see the amount of food and I ordered it lol when it came out, the food smelled absolutely amazing. I started off with my veal kebab and it took me about 15 mins to eat that with generous amount of rice and salad on the side. When I got to my classic chicken kebab nearly 20 mins later, it will still steaming hot!! You can tell that everything is prepared fresh and made to order. The meat is seasoned extremely well and cooked to perfection. I got the rice with the raisins and the carrots and that combined with the meat, the salad, the garlic sauce and the bread is just the best combination ever!! The owner came out front and asked us how our meals were and we appreciated that and gave him our praise.
My husband and I drove all the way from Rexdale and I don’t regret it. I can see us coming here at least once a month to enjoy the food here. Kudos to the chef!!

The food is delicious! We’ve been to every afghan restaurant in the area. I was a little hesitant to try this place because it as empty inside but we drove some distance. We ordered the kofta kabab and the lamb shank. Both were so good, juicy, piping hot and fresh. The bread was soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. Delicious, fast service. They brought the food to our table. They have great lunch specials. Would recommend!

Each platters Came with rice salad and freshly baked naan and 2 types of sauces. Was more than sufficient for out family of 5. So good value for money. Total spent around $60. We're so full so couldn't finish the naan. The owner sweetly gave us a paper bag to pack the remaining bread. So, no wastage

Wrap was filled with extra lettuce tomatoes there was hardly any chicken any protein. Price mentioned was 6.49$ but charged 10.7??

Food was decent however the photos on their menu on UberEats are deceiving. The portion sizes aren’t what they seem. The two pieces of meat in my Beef Kabouli Pulau were pretty small compared to the photos. For $20 I mostly ate rice and bread.
Fast turnaround and so flavourful! It functions like a fast food joint with a number call out but the food is so delicious and is fairly priced.

One of the oldest Afghan restaurants in Mississauga. Food is generally outstanding, I finally got to try the fish which was delicious but the inside needs much more cleaning before it's fried. Their call center receiving calls for takeout is dysfunctional and don't relay orders at all to restaurant or relay it incorrect at best. The have a real shot at becoming a 5 stars establishment if they can tighten the operational screws, and pay more attention to cleanliness!

This place serving delicious food and highly recommended place for afghani cuisine and BBQ grilled meat and it’s packet friendly prices ..
First time dining at this establishment. I’ve been to several different afghani restaurants in the GTA over the years and I was excited to try this place. They didn’t have barg which is my go-to dish so I had their beef tikka dinner plate. Beef was tender and grilled nicely but it lacked something in flavour, the rice was softer/overcooked than most basmati rice I’ve eaten in the past. The salad was fresh and their naan was what you’d expect, made to order and warm. I couldn’t tell if the hot sauce is made in-house or from a jar.

Washrooms are tucked away in the back and for those who are Muslim: they have prayer mats for your convenience.

I’m giving this restaurant 5 stars because when my family and I were there it felt like we were at some family member’s house. The staff were amazing and very friendly. The restaurant is extremely child friendly and caters to all kinds of groups.
The food was fantastic as well. It’s your classic Afghan food but probably the best in the GTA. The portions are generous and the meats are grilled to perfection.

The food was delicious and for the cost the quality was great. I would say they lacked on the bread. For the price we pay. 18 for a double combo, You only get half a bread….. the same meal at Bamiyan you get a full sized meal. But this can easily feed two people . Lack of bread for a dinner special but overall delicious. Updated menu posted. I wouldn’t give this a 5. But definitely a 4 for lack of quantity when compared to other restaurants.
I've been going to Chapli Kabob ever since it first opened, and honestly, I can say that I've never been disappointed by this place. The atmosphere is relaxing, and the restaurant is very clean. The service is phenomenal, especially from Manny, who is just an absolutely friendly guy and will always make sure your needs come first.
When it comes to the food, there's just no better. My default choice is easily the Wazeri Tandoori Kabob, which is pretty much almost all the time that i go there. But it isn't the only good dish there. I've also had the Chapli Kabob, which has such a powerful flavour and strong aroma to it. The Beef Kofta is also another dish that just simply hits your tastebuds with an explosive amount of flavour from its spices. If you want something more american but with an Afghan twist to it, then you should definitely try the Chapli Burger. It's basically the Chapli Kabob dish, but in the form of a burger with all of its amazing balance of spices and flavours, it will literally leave your mouth watery and wanting more.

Tried this place with my friends once and I had to come back with my family the next day just because the food was excellent. Way better than your typical famous afghan restaurants around. The rice was made perfect to my taste and meat was premium and quite tender. The mantu was completely tasteless honestly but the ashak is to die for. It was so good. Other than that the best Lamb shank and Lamb chops I have had. The restaurant was very cold tho. It is like they turned of the heat and that too in winter. We had to complain a few times until finally they turned it back on and it started to feel better. Other than that this definitely on my repeat list anytime I feel like eating afghan food. The service was great but the server might wanna tie her hair as some guests may not like their server fixing her hair and preparing their food tray at the same time.

I was hesitant on going here because of the mixed reviews. I’ll be honest. The food is okay. They are cheap with sauces like others have said, but their sauces don’t taste good anyway. Their naan is the only thing I thought actually tasted good.
Also if you go here there is no point upgrading a meal to Kabuli rice since all they did was sprinkle some carrots and raisins into normal rice. 3.50 to have a bit of carrots and raisins sprinkled in is just lazy.

Great place to enjoy afghani food solo or even with large group. I love that they also have place to pray so we can stay longer and have tea or sweets after meal without worrying to rush out during prayer times. Food had great flavors, we tried their variety of kababs and they were well seasoned, however they didn’t arrive hot as expected.

Bought a family platter from here today because I saw some good reviews online and we wanted a change from our usual spots (Bamiyan and Pamier Kabob). The reviews were spot on as this is deservedly a 5 star spot. Great portion size for the price and really good quality meat. Chicken was juicy and flavourful. The rice, naan and sauces were really good. We started digging in before I remembered to take photos. We'll definitely be eating here again.
EDITED REVIEW: It appears that the management has changed. I used to be a regular customer before they had closed temporarily. The chicken we had today was quite stale to the point that I had to trash it. On top of that the customer service leaves a lot to be desired.
