Although prices have risen a lot over the years and new competitors have appeared in the dessert space, Demetres has been able to hold its own with their brand of high quality service and delicious offerings. They manage to always keep it fresh and delightful. We never leave disappointed and would always return for more.

Wife had cravings for Thai food and we stopped in this spot on our trip to downtown Portland. It has a very cafeteria feel where you order food and sit down and they bring it to your table. The food was decent but far from the best Thai food we've ever had. Ordered them medium and spicy but there wasn't any heat on any of the dishes.

The food here was pretty good especially considering the price point. $14.25 for an XL bowl of house special pho. Broth slightly sweet for my liking but still good overall and definitely good bang for your buck. Their specialty 7 course beef "bò 7 món" is quite the spread and good for two people. In this area I would rate this place second behind Bún Bò Húê down the street. I would definitely come here again as the server was very friendly.

Bought a family platter from here today because I saw some good reviews online and we wanted a change from our usual spots (Bamiyan and Pamier Kabob). The reviews were spot on as this is deservedly a 5 star spot. Great portion size for the price and really good quality meat. Chicken was juicy and flavourful. The rice, naan and sauces were really good. We started digging in before I remembered to take photos. We'll definitely be eating here again.
