One of the oldest Kali Matar temple in India.It's located in the area Kalighat, Kolkata-Pin 700026. Devotees from all corners from India and from abroad come here and offer their pujas to the Goddess Kali. Transport communication to reach here is excellent. Metro rly Kalighat station may also be used. Surrounding places are very nice and clean. Many shops are available in the temple complex having various items related with puja.

It was restored by the state's public works department in November 2001 and has since been well maintained.In colonial era,British entourages used the Prinsep Ghat jetty for embarkation and disembarkation.Prinsep Ghat is one of the oldest recreational spots of Kolkata.People visit it in the evenings on weekends to go boating on the river, stroll. A nice place to spend some time on weekends.

Gariahat is one of the most busiest and famous area in South Kolkata.This area is crowded because lots of offices are in this area and Gariahat is a big and famous market for shopping.There is crossroad in Gariahat from where You can go to Rashbehari,Rubi Hospital, Ballygunj, Tollygunj, Newtown, Airport ,Howrah and even to Behala and Garia by using this Road.Car owners can use Gariahat flyover to save time from traffic jam.Use flyover only if you are Golpark bound or Gariahat Pantaloons bound.
Very bad condition of the bus stop. Too much dirty. Water falling inside the bus stand from the roof during rain.

Loved the connection.. You get Sealdah in one hand and other hand is Shyambazar. In the other two direction , one is howrah and other is saltlake. You get nearest metro GirishPark within 10 mins walk. You get Ahoritola ganga bank within 10 mins auto.
Besides, you have large markets alif all you need. The biggest blood bank is here at the crossing. The iconic Pareshnath mandir is here 10 mins walk from the crossing.

Princep Ghat in name of James Princep, just 1 km away from Babughat Bus stand. Its is a best place for a leisure in an afternoon or an evening. Princep Ghat is the railway station for Circular Railway. There is a beautiful strand on the bank of the Ganges from Princep Ghat to Chandpal Ghat Ferry Ghat. Boats are available for a ride on the Ganges.

Very historical mandir but panda of this mandir are so rude and bad in nature.it is a one of pit 51 satipit.
The Picnic Garden Mini bus stand is on Dr. G.S.Bose road . It is just beside Lalkuthi jal Tank . The bus stand is attached with a play ground . The mini bus stand is not structured and visible from Dr. G.S.Bose road . The buses from there go to Dalhousie and Howrah station . Number of minibuses are decreasing year after year . Rickshaw stand is nearby . All minibuses are old . Buses are going via Colony Bazar . In the minibus stand there is no shed .
This place is totally annoying , maximum time bus' are not stop here...

The Nostalgic Princep Ghat is one of the oldest recreational spots of Kolkata and people come here in evenings on weekends to have stroll along the bank, with many food-stalls selling variety of road-side foods. There also is an more than 40 year old ice-cream cum fast-food joint on the ghat, which is popular among the crowds, especially the youngsters.

It is also very cool place. It is a place of goddess as we know that Ganga is a very holy river. Seeing it is a honour of all hindu. Apart from this it is also a good place for photography. And there is a restaurant named scoop where cool ice-cream is available to make your hot days cool. Also french fries and etc are available. It is a good place for friends to hangout with enough food.

This bus terminus should be shifted somewhere else. Just next to shopping complex and police station.. this terminus keep the whole area nasty. But commuters get help for this terminus, that is an advantage.

I have given 4 stars since this Private Bus service acts as a great connector for places like Lake Gardens, New Alipore, Ekbalpur, BBD Bag and Howrah Stn in a single go. Yet, I have deducted 1 star since this bus service runs via Fort William instead of Park Street else it would have been 5/5 !!!!
