This place is so famous in Kolkata that we as tourists decided to go and get the blessing of maa kali. After reaching at this place we were approached by many touts that we forgot to counting. They were asking us for money and told us to take ahead in the queue and our darshan will be done quickly. It was not like asking someone but actually harassing . They were not ready to leave us alone until we said just go loudly. They generally see the non- locals and try to get money out of them by fooling them. You can easily be in the queue and it will not take you more than 30 mins for darshan even after being in the queue. Never ever fall prey to these people.

shaktipeeth,attractive devi murthy,inside temple arrangements are not good,only after dakshina (money),near by u can enjoy travelling in tram,in india only in kolkota u will find trams

You can reach there by walk just for 10 min from kalighat metro stations....
Here the charge of worshiping god by the hand of pope is too high ...1100/- for pandit and 360 for the dala of puja.......
although GoD is good .you can go there with a clean and fresh mind and your problem can ....finished up......
