Plenty of space to start a fantastic walk around the loch.
Great location, with overnight stay in a van allowed, but at a steep price. But I don’t mind paying my fair share when it gives such close access to great maintained trails in such pristine scenery
Cheap and lots of spaces

Great carpark. And if you walk up the hill you can see Reindeer and a lovely view
Really disappointed by this walk. Dogs had to be on a lead evidently because of the abundance of wildlife, But we saw nothing other than the ducks beinf fed at the shop. In reality it was to keep them safe from the number of ridiculously fast mountain bikers tearing round.

In terms of magnificent scenery, I wouldn't know as for 95% of the walk you couldn't see anything but trees, and you were never in touching distance of a lochside walk.

The directions are poor, oth in terms of the map pro ised and the woeful number of signs along the walk.

The shop was good, but the picnic site was 3 tables positioned directly outside the toilets.

Overall then, if you are in this area, there are many better walks than this one.

Great little car park right on the main street. Next to all the shops and facilities.😎
The camping we planned to stay at was full because of the Highland Games, so we ended up here. A bit pricey for a parking lot with a toilet, but it was a nice and peaceful location. A guy came by in the morning to check that everyone had paid.

Great hiking spot, especially for beginners like myself. Also had some delicious ice cream from the shop and lots of beautiful scenery
Great manned car park and only £1.50 per person for the whole day. I think it is done this way as you pay for footfall around the lock and therefore not penalised if you go alone.

Good facilities nearby with well looked after toilets and a cafe and gift shop. Beautiful walk around the lock and an ice-cream at the end of the walk.
Stunning place and walk around the loch. Stayed overnight in the motorhome for £14 And it's so beautiful and peaceful we will definitely be back!

Two pound for two hours as minimum. So if you want to use the nearby public toilet you can't just pay for the 10 minutea you might need.

Great parking for the fairy trail. You can so park at the beach and extend your hike.
Nice parking place at the base station of the Cairngorm Mountain railways .

Plenty of parking, payment machine takes cash but card reader wasn’t working. Was about £3 for two hours and £4 for all day parking.

On the right side of the road for most of the shops that don't have their own parking, I wanted to get to the outdoor supplies shops and they are mostly on this side. Takes contactless payment.
Free parking, voluntary donation possible. Amazing views (even when cloudy). Very kind people at the ticket office, the tubing park and the café!
Easy access car park and short walk to Base Camp facilities. Parking was free during our visit with boxes for donations. Great views before you even get to the summit.
Nice sized car park, payment is per person at £1.50 or £4.50 per vehicle. Card payment is preferred and taken from the lovely man at the booth who will give you a map if you haven't visited the Loch before. Toilets and gift shop a very short walk before the real fun starts! Motorhomes welcome to park over night - £7 per person collected in the morning
Beautiful place to park your campervan.
£3 for parking paid upon exit
Cairngorm Mountain car park is the lanch pad to the Northern Corrie's a popular winter climbing venue and great starting place for hill walking all year round. There is a cafe, shop, rangers centre in the car park along with public toilet s. You can also access the Mountain railway from here and the ski lifts in winter.

Handy car park for the centre of town, local shops and cafes etc. £1 for 2 hours and £2 for 4 hours.
Great place for parking and the scenery, alot of walk ways and also had a large concreted space for campers and campervans for parking with great views
Only £2 to park here for the day and you can also stay overnight, there are no facilities after 5pm. There is also a lower at park that is free, just be aware of the midges, as at the moment there are plenty around. This is a great base to explore the Cairngorm mountain range.
The scenery is so beautiful at this park , there are so many activities and sports to do , you could also join the reindeer tour totally recommend 👌🏻✨
Annoyingly the forestry commission charge for this car park. I wouldn't mind as much except that the charge means lots of people park on the road now. It is £2 for a full day which is pretty reasonable. Annoyingly if you are doing a longer expedition you can't easily pay for a 2 or 3 day stay (we left a note and haven't had any problems). You can buy a longer 2 week pass at the visitor centre for £10.
Great spot for starting low level walks or for heading across to Braeriach. Our itinerary went to the Chalamain Gap and Castle Hill.
Did the reindeer feeding your. There's an about 15 - 20 min hike (moderate) to the area. The staff was fantastic and the reindeer were great. We had a 3 and 5 year old with us and it wasn't an issue.

Fairly small pay and display car park. In the centre of town so close to shops and cafes.
