Nice little car park with donation box.

Busy, but not full, situated in picturesque area of the Yorkshire Dales.
Staying opposite so never used it, but was well used by others. Conveniently situated for the village and amenities

A great little car park; normally I wouldn’t wax lyrical about such things, but it’s a really handy place to stop if you’re planning a walk, or bike ride, in the dales and don’t want to be stiffed by the parking charges in Hawes. Yes, it’s a little bit bijou, but that’s fine by me - just make sure you get there early enough to find a space!
One thing - although the parking is, nominally, free, there is an honesty box. I made sure that I put some money in it - please make sure you do too, otherwise this facility will be taken over by those for whom profit is much more important than convenience and we’ll all be worse off...
