The lady at the front desk is very rude until I spoke to her boss and the people that work for the child welfare on the 3rd floor are all trained say the same thing to the parents and when It comes to visiting their children and the fake counselor that they have are rude to and they abuse the victims it's 😥 😥
After COVID19 the lady with the glasses curly hair front desk she doesn’t wear a mask she’s very rude to WALK INS! also very nervous I
Think they should get better staff
My daughter attends the high school here and I have to say they are on track they are on the students about their tardiness and absences they call me for everything to keep me in the loop I work a lot so I appreciate them calling me and keeping me up to date
The staff is awesome but the g.e.d classes suck they had no teacher to teach the students in the 3rd group because its a non profit organization but other than that its ok
They saved my life. I'm still going there, I was in an abusive situation . I left the person. Went to a baking school and going back to school for other things. I have my own place now got into a few other program. The people there are truly amazing and they care deeply. It is one of the best decisions I've ever made in my life to go there. Then a few years later they dropped the ball big time. I would never go back there again ! Please ifbyounneed to continue to need help find another place to go !
I am going way back to the 50's when I went to the Association House on North Ave in Chicago. What great times they were for us young people. I lived right next door to "The Sose" as we called it. My favorite was the gym, where we played volleyball. But did everything there from woodwork to dancing....just hanging around all the time. The list goes on and on. Was hardbroken when I came back to visit and saw it was not there anymore....how sad. Just know that I am now 77 years old this May, and want the people that supported our beautiful home away from home to know how grateful we were that you took the time and financial support to help us young kids have a great childhood. I notice the change in my son from been at the bottom without hope to over coming obstacle thanks to the teacher and others that took the time to assist him to a better future. Very proud of my son. Thanks to the Association house.
